Beautiful home! Everything was clean! Everything needed for a weekend away was provided! The only “issue” was that there were some frustrations with the lights not turning on (switches and remotes not responding) in the bedrooms but we managed. The hosts were responsive and willing to answer questions and accommodation needs.

Wonderful House with Everything

We came with another family to ski at Beaver and this place was great. Huge garage, great hot tub and comfortable beds. The place was super clean and had everything you could need in the kitchen. The owners were very easy to communicate with and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again.

I've gone back and forth as to what to include in my review. I have reached out to the owner about things as well. I feel like the owners have not visited the property themselves in quite some time. Some of the bigger issues: The description said that there was beach toys available, there were like 3. The firepit was not working, wasn't even located where it shows in the pictures, and the whole property is overgrown with weeds. You pull up and get out into weeds. The ping pong table, it was there and so were the ping pongs but no paddles. Instead, there were some cheap wood things that attempted to be the paddles. It states that it can sleep 13, not sure where 13 people are supposed to sleep. At most 10. It stated that there were air mattresses, which maybe there was one, but there is nowhere to put them. the rooms are full and the living area has no room. We had to clean most of the dishes before we used them, there were stains on some of the bedding, nowhere to hang towels, and there were only 5 chairs to sit at the table. There are two barstools, but we had a party of 9. I would have thought that since it states that it can sleep 13 that it would be able to seat 13. We made it work as some went and ate outside, but the weather was nice for us to be able to do that. Again, I have reached out to the owner about these and more issues. It IS in a beautiful location, and is ok, but I just felt like the pictures and listing description didn't match up to what it was.

Winter getaway

This was a great location for our weekend getaway with friends celebrating a birthday. Pros: It was beautiful, the hot tub was fantastic, it was clean, roomy, and the kitchen was fully stocked with anything you'd need to cook. Cons: There is only a TV in one of the bedrooms and you have to take the trash to dumpsters far down the road on your way out or you get a fee. I'd highly recommend this location to others. Communication was great!

Beautiful Fall Retreat

My adult daughters and I came for a short Fall Girls Retreat. The home was beautiful, clean and accommodating and the fall colors were spectacular! We enjoyed a Pickleville performance, a few hikes, and games around the table. It was so easy to cook our meals in the well-appointed kitchen! Thank you!

The home and layout was nice and was in a good location. Internet did not work at the time so we were unable to watch tv. Not a big deal considering we were at the lake most of the time but it might’ve been nice to have at night. Interior of the home was great, exterior is getting overgrown with thistle which isn’t ideal.

Bear Lake Vacation

The house was clean. The supplies were more than expected. Sitting outside on the deck taking in the fresh air was very enjoyable. We were so comfortable there. We wish we could have had a way to unpack our suitcases with a place to hang our clothes or drawers to put things away. It didn’t dampen our experience. We had a great time. Six of us really enjoyed our entire stay. Thank you.

Great location - beautiful home

We really enjoyed our stay at the Modern Lakehouse. It was perfectly clean inside, with modern, comfortable decor. The location is great - it has views, but is not directly on the lake. The Ideal Beach Resort access is fun, and the hot tub was great. Some things to know - there are NO CLOSETS. Anywhere in the home. There is not really anywhere to store clothing besides the suitcase you brought. Perhaps the owners will add some hooks for hanging, or something, but at our stay, there was nothing. The kitchen is well stocked with just about any appliance or tool you may need, but there is no empty cupboard space to put food away, so since we were there with a lot of people we had food all over the counters and stacked inside the coolers we had brought. All in all, it was a lovely stay, and we all enjoyed ourselves.

The house was amazing. We enjoyed the front facing patio the most, spent most of our time on there. We greatly appreciated the hot tub, twice, and really just couldn't be more happy with our stay. On that note, the only thing that needs attention is making sure dishes are clean. We unfortunately had to clean every dish we used cause they were covered in a greasy film. Also, for those who are less informed, maybe a sign for the hot tub covers would benefit the longevity of your hot tub.
