Detta renoverade enstaka hem ligger bara 10 minuters promenad till en privat strand vid Lake Michigan. Den ligger på ett vackert avskilt parti med massor av mogna träd. Det finns uteplatser i främre och bakre trädgården med en sten Fire Pit ut bakåt. Det är en utmärkt plats att ligga tillbaka i hängmattan och koppla av dagen bort.

När du går i ytterdörren gör det välvda taket det känns väldigt stort och öppet. Det finns två stora glidande glasdörrar som sträcker sig över vardagsrummet och matsalen och tar tillbaka trädgården in i huset. En vedeldad spis, platt-TV och trådlöst internet ger dig alla bekvämligheter i hemmet. Köket var helt ombyggt och inkluderar en ätande bankett, malade bänkskivor i granit och apparater i rostfritt stål.

Till vänster om ingången finns tre sovrum och två badrum. Det första rummet har en queen size-säng och en unik garderob gjord av en gammal ladugård. I nästa rum finns två XL-enkelsängar och en stor garderob. Det finns ett renoverat gemensamt badrum med badkar. Mästaren följer och är ett stort rum med en king size-säng, massor av garderobsutrymme och ett bifogat masterbad med smågolv och en glasdusch.

This is the third year my girlfriend group has stayed at this lovely home. We enjoy the proximity to the private beach and the ease of driving into New Buffalo. The house is always clean and has the essentials we need for our stay. We hope to be back next year for our annual girls trip!

Sweet House

We really enjoyed the house. It could comfortably sleep six people, and the owners offered some additional amenities in the house for the beach. We appreciated that. Location relative to the beach is pretty good. Short walk, or short drive and ample parking. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful place

My 4 sisters aan I spent a week at this place and loved it. Very spacious and a short walk to beautiful beach on Lake Michigan.We were challenged trying to get the TV to work but Michele took time to Facetime us and ensured we got it working.Not much going on in Union Pier but we were able to travel around the area and enjoy ourselves.

We had a wonderful time. Steve and Michelle are so kind and have such a nice place. The 4 of us all adults in our family have enjoyed their place these last few years. Great family vacation

Loved this place!

My friends and I have visited Union Pier for seven years and this was our favorite house. It was clean and fully stocked with everything you’d need for the beach. We LOVED the private beach which was walking distance. Would definitely stay again!

Great Stay

Beautiful property, and close to the lake.

We really enjoyed staying here. Location was perfect! The neighborhood is quiet and the walk to the lake is very easy. Beach chairs and floaters are available. We really enjoyed using the bikes to ride around. I definitely recommend for families or couples. An amazing relaxing experience and a nice break from our city life.

Annual Girls Getaway

Nice clean house with upgraded kitchen & bath, large family room & dining room and spacious back yard with fire pit. Walking distance to numerous beach access entrances which have steep staircases. Host very receptive to all inquires. Will be back!

Great Getaway

My friends and I have been staying in houses along the Michigan coast for several years. This house was one of our favorites. It was well maintained, clean, and had all the amenities needed for a stay along Lake Michigan. The private beach was not crowded and the walk to the beach was easily doable, but each day we drove to the beach there was always plenty of parking. A most enjoyable stay!

Spacious and well appointed cottage

We enjoyed our family girls’ trip to this home. The home is clean and in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed riding the bikes and sitting on the front patio. It’s a distance from the private beach so we drove to a nearby public beach that had parking. Union Pier is so sweet, a great area!

Great place for families

We really enjoyed our second stay at this property. The house was very clean upon arrival. It also has a variety of beach items available such as chairs, a wagon, beach toys, floats, etc., which we appreciated. The location is great, just a short drive or bike ride to New Buffalo and the small downtown of Union Pier. Our host was very kind and communicative. Check out procedures were reasonable.

Labor Day weekend wedding getaway

Super comfortable and spacious home for a Labor Day weekend getaway. The neighborhood was quiet and felt like a relaxing area. We didn’t explore much given the packed wedding weekend agenda, but everything was a quick drive. Will need to come back to check out the beach!! Beds were comfortable, and it was great to have extra space - 3 women getting ready for a wedding need to be able to spread out!! Check in and check out instructions were super clear, and hosts were friendly and proactive with their communication. Would highly recommend!

Great vacation home

My husband and I really liked this house. Nice quiet neighborhood. When we went to the beach, there were so many beach toys, chairs, floats, etc. that it really made it great, especially with the grandkids. We loved the bikes! There is cornhole, basketball, and lots of things for the kids to do. Our only problem was the very light window coverings in the bedrooms. It is vacation after all, and it would be nice NOT to wake up with the sun each day. And the last night we were there, we had quite the light show from the lightning in our room from the storms, and we had a difficult time sleeping. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars. I would recommend this place for a great vacation.

Steve grew up in Essexville, MI and Michele is from Minnesota, but spent over 15 years in Chicago working for Kraft Foods. We met in Memphis, TN our primary residence in addition to Union Pier. We were married at the Journeyman in Three Oaks in 2019. Steve just wrote his first book, Nocturnal Admissions, a memoir of funny stories from a 30 year career running legendary nightclubs in the US. This picture is from the book signing at the New Buffalo Library in JULY, 2022.
