Enjoy the simple life at this cozy, coastal home complete with a grassy yard, furnished rear deck, and firepit. Centrally located, you'll find many business within walking distance, but don't let that stop you from exploring all the island has to offer from boutiques and specialty shops to breweries, restaurants, and museums as well as Lost Treasure Golf, the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island, and the Elizabethan Gardens.

You will love the covered front porch as you sip your morning coffee and watch the world go by or relax in the sun room with a good book. Gather together in the living area to stream a favorite movie, and then, in the evenings, light up the firepit out back, share stories, and make s'mores. The well-equipped, full kitchen has everything you need to whip up your favorite meals and snacks, and you can even dine alfresco on the patio.

Walk to the beach and play in the sand and warm waters every day. After days of fun in the sun, rinse off using the convenient outdoor shower and then head into town to explore the local eateries. There's never a dull moment at this delightful home!

Girls trip

This beach cottage was the perfecr spot for our annual girls trip ☆Cozy living space with spacious kitchen ☆Short drive to the beach with parking at the fishing peir ☆Great backyard for morning yoga and an evening bonfire ☆Good supply of amenities and bath towels ☆Beds - super comfy

Dirty and Unresponsive

I hope the owners read my review. Allow me to profess we live in a resort as well and the staffing issues after Covid. We showed up to a dirty rental. Sheets were dirty, unswept, sand was all over the floor. Dishes were dirty with coffee residue still in the bottom of the mugs. When we called Vacasa the rental management company their phone were not working properly and they didn’t have a direct contact in the OuterBanks. They did send a clean crew out whom put the top sheets on the bed upside down, left two rolls of toilet for a week for 6 people, left dishwashing detergent for a place that doesn’t have a dishwasher, and only two dish towels for a place on the ocean with out a dishwasher. They also did not check the dishes which we had to clean all of them after they had been there… I understand they ask the vacationers to do the dish and put them away but maybe just check them. To the owners you have a cute little place. I would highly recommend you switch rental management. As they are not taking care of your property.

Avoid at all costs.

House was obviously quickly and cheaply renovated. Multiple issues with the house upon move in, broken fan, broken chair, etc. The ac did not work and it took them 4 days to do anything about it. The mice we saw every night seemed to enjoy the place. We could also hear them scratching in the walls. There were flies everywhere upon move in and died down through the week. First services were responsive but slow to do anything. Location was solid. Didn't make up for the rest of the issues.

Obx stay

Not within walking distance to the ocean but close to a lot of activities. Across the main road from the ocean. Fyi they did post a for sale sign in the front yard during our stay for others looking at this place to stay

Front porch stairs

My brother fell on the entrance stairs to the front porch entrance because the wood step was rotted and old. He stepped down onto it, and it broke under his weight, causing him to fall.
