Quiet,clean and cozy

The cottage was very clean in a quiet neighborhood. Everything was as expected and very nice. Great for a quick weekend getaway or maybe even longer! Would definitely stay again

Perfect Beach Location in Kill Devil Hills

The house is great for a family with small kids. The location is perfect, walking distance to the beach and right in the middle of town. The furniture was a little outdated but that helped the charm of the house.

Close to historic sites

Walk away from historic life guard station and Wright Brothers museum. A walk from public beaches. Not the most comfortable of stays, but the location made up for it.

Cute spot, conveniently located

Cute little spot. The beds were comfortable and the house stayed cool. We brought our dog, she loved the deck. Just a few streets over from the stop and shop and public beach access. Over all it was a great stay. Would consider staying here again.

Spacious, close to the beach

Have all the necessities (including dog bowls). For a longer stay (1 week +), one can easily cook/bbq/grill. Walking distance to beach (5-10 mins). No ocean view though.

OBX convenient but outdated

A/C worked great, water was hot, beds were comfortable, it's a beach house,don't expect luxury. The house is outdated but perfect for the price. There was a barbecue pit which was convenient. We had a great first OBX experience and would stay here again for the price. Very convenient to everything.

Cozy little beach house

The stay was great even though the weather wasn’t the best. The house was nice and the location was great. There are a few maintenance issues that should be addressed such as a loose board on the deck and the shower curtain rod needs to be permanently attached so it doesn’t fall on someone else’s head. We would stay here again on our next trip to the Outher Banks if it was available.

Never again for this place

Came into a dirty place with dog hairs all over the couch, dirty dishes in the dishwasher and crap out on the grounds. Dog puke in 2 spots on the deck that was never resolved so it's still there. All the linens in bags in the driveway that got picked up Saturday afternoon minus the one they left on the back stairs. Wifi was spotty at best and the management team we contacted was horrible. Worst airbnb we have stayed at.

Overall the house is fine but The furniture needs updated. The recliner was broken, the back of the couch had a major dip in it, and the bar stools were wobbly. The kitchen table was very sticky. No matter how many times we wiped it, it did no good. Deck needs work. Boards are splintering and loose and nails were sticking up. Was not comfortable walking on it without shoes. The bedrooms were fine and the kitchen was good. The house was sufficient for our week but I would definitely not stay there again.

Serenity Beach House

Not being Smart TV savvy your tech came to help. We appreciate his promptness and understandable explanation. We also reported the car port light did not work. It was fixed the SAME day we called. We STRONGLY recommend owner put lights on the stairs More light in the living room is needed. After a day of sun and fun we kick back with beach reads!

Old & uncomfortable

For the most part, the house was clean, except for a few dried cockroaches so that leads me to believe that someone hadn’t stayed there in a while therefore it wasn’t freshly cleaned. The furniture is extremely old and very uncomfortable! This was not a house you could stay and relax, you would want to be out most of the time. We actually left a night early because we were just going to relax the last day, and this furniture is not for that! The Wi-Fi was so slow that the TV only worked part of the time, got in touch with the property management company and they were quick to help. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi kept going down. Location was great, but again, just not a comfortable house!

All great but the property management

This was a great place to stay at! Clean and all the necessary items available. But it was a horrible experience with the property management people. We couldn't get into the house with the provided code and had to call and that's always frustrating. Then we left to go out and couldn't lock the door. I had to call again to get support and they said they would send someone out to take a look at it. I informed them we wouldn't be there for a while and was told that I would receive a phone call before they showed up. We get back and there's a tag on the door saying they attempted service, but due to the dogs being inside they couldn't enter (thus the reason for needing to be notified before they showed up, which I never got). Because we could deadlock from the inside and we were leaving the next day, we didn't bother calling them back. Highly recommend a different method of entry or property management company.
