Breath Taking Views & Beautiful Home

Our family of six fit comfortably is the home and enjoyed the incredible views. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were beautiful. We will definitely consider staying her again for our next trip to Kauai.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is great. If anything I wish we were able to spend more time in it! But when we did, it was very accommodating. Plenty of private spaces, and when we wanted to get together and/or host a meal with friends, it was perfect. We walked down the ridge along the old Club Med property and swam across the river to walk the Bay... overall the location was really perfect.

Incredible Vacation Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is everything! The location, the views, the layout, it was a dream! We stayed with our two young kids and they loved it as well. Beds are so comfy. Linens/towels are high quality. Bathtubs were spacious and the view from the master unmatched! The outdoor shower has a Bali feel. The pool is a great size and the fountain so relaxing! We kept saying it feels like we are staying in a treehouse - because the home is so private - surrounded by plants - and built over the edge of a canyon - so when you look down towards the ocean it’s like you are one with the trees. We’ve stayed at other homes on the same street - and this one has the best views! The only improvements would have been higher quality soaps throughout - but we are fancy like that. And we only found beach chairs/umbrellas/cooler - we didn’t find any boogie boards/snorkel/other beach gear which would have been a bonus. We may have overlooked it! We would love to stay again and highly recommend this rental!!

It is a short drive to Princeville and Hanalei. Great little food-truck serving breakfast and lunch is a block away. We visit Kauai frequently, and this was probably the best vacation property at which we have stayed.

Great Private House

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I spent a week at Hanalei Zen Retreat in early October and had a wonderful time. Despite being very close to one other house, it is situated in such a way that it is an incredibly private retreat. There was quite a bit of construction going on down the street, but it did not disturb us in the least due to the property layout. The house itself is incredible with a great view of the ocean in the distance, a beautiful pool, and a deck/lanai. The view from the upstairs bedroom is wonderful.Location is great, less than a five minute drive to the commercial center and grocery store, 10 minutes to Hanelei Beach and Blue Dolphin Fish Market (great fresh fish), and a 15 minute walk to the ocean if you are a surfer.The air conditioning in the bedroom works nicely, and the downstairs stayed cool and comfortable with the (screened) doors open and the ceiling fans on.This is a quality-built house with nice interior finish and real wood floors - it looks like cherry wood floors, which is a soft wood and requires extra care - like no shoes and be careful not to drop anything heavy. While this makes the house a wonderful place to stay, it is NOT a party house - and I don't think i would be comfortable bringing young kids to this house unless they were already accustomed to needing to be careful and not throwing things around inside of the house - this wonderful house deserves a lot of respect and care.I highly recommend this house and hope to return in the not-to-distant future.

Beautiful house let down by cleanliness

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful house in an amazing location. Super well furnished with high quality furniture and some beautiful art as well. Really comfortable for my family of four. Bathrooms were well designed.That said, this is by far the least "clean" place we have ever stayed. Literally ever. This is especially compounded by the cleaning fee attached to the rental - we were charged over $1100 for a one week stay. The kitchen, living room and dining room were all not cleaned. The kitchen had dead insects and a filthy stove. We had to clean to cook. The stove vent was coated in grease and growing mold. The dining room table was covered in a layer of dust/dirt. Every corner of these three rooms had spider webs, dust bunnies, gecko poop trails, etc. Made the mistake of dropping something that rolled under the couch -- absolutely disgusting under there as well. The lanai was coated in dead bugs, gecko poop and general grime. I had to wash it down with the hose before we could use it. Management company was informed and didn't address the issue in a serious way. They offered to have the cleaning company come back -- why would I want the same cleaners to come back and do their job and disrupt my family vacation. No other solution offered.If I was the owner of this house I would be pissed at the condition to which the management company is maintaining it.

Amazing Sunsets in Princeville

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This gorgeous house was perfect in every way. The location could not have been better. The house was very clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms spa quality. The views of Hanalei Bay were unreal, especially at sunset. Short walk to Pua Poa beach, less than 5 minutes to Princeville Center and about 7-8 minutes to Hanalei town. We used the beach chairs, mats, and cooler for a day trip to Anini Beach. I wish we could have stayed longer!
