La Quinta, öknens pärla!

Från det ögonblick som vi stannade på Legacy Villas på vår systers resa, blev jag och Karen fängslade av orten och lugn. Inbäddat i en pittoresk vik i Santa Rosa-bergen är arkitekturen och landskapsarkitekturen en högtid för ögonen. Slingrande paseos fodrade med palmer accentuerade av färgglada kakel fontäner förbinder villorna med poolerna och klubbhuset.

5-stjärnigt lyxhotell:

Legacy Villas är ett gated Resort med 10 000 sf klubbhus, 12 saltvattenpooler och många fontäner anslutna med slingrande anlagda paseos. Kvaliteten på konstruktionen och antalet bekvämligheter är imponerande. Clubhouse-området har huvudpoolområdet, träningsanläggningen och en hängmatta. Det huvudsakliga poolområdet inkluderar 2 pooler, varv pool och spa fodrad med färgglada Cabanas. Barnpoolen eller funktionshindrade poolen har enkel tillgång till poolen och angränsande roliga vattenfunktioner för barn som sköldpaddan eller palmerna. Det finns gratis trådlöst internet i klubbhuset. Legacy Grill är öppet säsongsbetonat för enkla måltider eller en utmärkt kopp Starbucks kaffe.

Varför vår villa?

Vi valde denna villa för vår familjesemester på grund av platsen och planlösningen. Beläget i slutet av Main paseo nära klubbhuset och stora pooler, ligger Villa på en greenbelt med otroliga utsikt över Grand Fountain och Desert Mountains. Det är en idealisk plats för familjer med små barn och begränsad rörlighet (inga trappor och trappsteg till gräsmatta). Smutta på morgonkaffet eller ät på den privata uteplatsen och njut av den spektakulära utsikten över bergen med synen och ljuden från Grand Fontänen.

Det är perfekt för en stor eller liten grupp. Det finns 2 sviter i vardera änden (kungsvit och drottningssvit) och en 3: e bäddsrum med dubbelsäng och badrum. Sviterna erbjuder privata retreater och vardagsrummet ger en mysig plats för att umgås. Living Rm, matplats och kök öppet för varandra och bildar ett underbart stort rum som öppnar ut till uteplatsen. Vardagsrummet har en bekväm soffa med dubbelsäng och 52 'Sony HD platt-TV. Matsalen har 6 bekvämt sittplatser och det finns 3 extra pallar i Kitchen Bar. Det rymliga köket har granitbänkar och är fullt utrustat för alla dina behov. Det finns wi-fi överallt och en telefonlinje. Det finns nya bomullssängkläder. Vi gillar trevliga saker och ser till att Villa förblir i toppskick. Vad ska man göra:

Du kanske inte vill lämna orten och koppla av vid de många poolerna och badtunnorna - en perfekt dag enligt min mening. Eller kanske en morgonlek tennis eller golf på de närliggande banorna eller banorna. Men om du är en äventyrare och vill utforska och uppleva vad detta område har att erbjuda, här är några förslag:

Laquita Trip 1

This was our first trip to the LaQuinta area. We have friends that have homes in LaQuinta, Palm Springs and Palm Desert, so it was great to see them while we were there! We totally enjoyed our stay and plan to come back again for sure! The unit and location were perfect for our first time there! Everything about the unit was exactly as was advertised! The unit set up with the two en-suitesbeing at opposite ends was perfect for our needs! We enjoyed several Happy Hours on the patio with friends of ours who were staying in Legacy Villas. We walked to and from Old Town on several occasions. The unit was totally functional for our purposes! Clean, well set up and supplied with everything that we could need! Our grandchildren very much enjoyed the main pool at the complex. All in all the unit, location, and the entire area exceeded our expectations! We thank you so much for trusting us with your home!

Lovely stay

We were a party of 6 over Christmas. Two teens, two 40 year olds, and my elderly parents walked over from their own unit. We had a very nice time at this rental overall. We’d stay there again. Communication was fast and small issues resolved quickly. There were plenty of towels, a very large amount of dishes and serving platters, I liked that where were some spices available, and the drawer of Saran Wrap and foil came in nicely. A few small complaints: No tv in the 3rd bedroom. The property as a whole felt neglected. Several of the hot tubs were broken, several of the pools weren’t heated. Once we found a pool that was heated AND a working hot tub we were much happier, pool 14 is a very close walk.No kleenex/tissue in the whole house? In December, during cold/flu season? My one real complaint is that we had booked for 6 people for 6 nights. There was an ample supply of laundry soap and dish soap. But only 4 tiny garbage bags. The garbage can in the kitchen is tiny, bathroom sized. We cooked a lot and also had Christmas morning wrapping paper to dispose of. I did a very large grocery order when we arrived, and I assumed there’d be a normal amount of garbage bags provided. I didn’t realize until the 3rd day that we were running low, and I felt stupid reaching out for such a small item, but also didn’t want to have to drive to the grocery store only for garbage bags. Just felt like a very “cheap” thing, surprising for such a nice and otherwise well stocked unit.

Great Stay!

We loved this house! It was perfect for our extended family of 6. We appreciated having all the light/fan switches labeled. The neighborhood was beautiful and the kids really enjoyed the pool. Also close to restaurants and shopping. We hope to return!

lovely Shangri-la

This was a wonderful property and we throughly enjoyed our stay. We were 2 couples and there was terrific privacy and space between us. Beautiful location and we enjoyed walking around the area. Other people were friendly- even treated us to fresh grapefruit! Great communication. We highly recommend it.

The Perfect Family Getaway

We had the best time at this place- we seriously cannot wait to get back! The location was even better than the photos with the mountains just steps away. Plenty of pools and views! The owners were wonderful with communication and very accommodating.

Very nice, met our needs just fine

Very nice and quiet gated community. A couple up front questions we had were answered promptly and the front gate had advance notice and approved access for all our family members. Plenty of free parking adjacent to the property. Access to the unit was easy using the keypad. The listing pics accurately represent the property and while we rented the entire 3BR unit, the way the outside and inside doors are set up, it looks like it might be possible to rent individual, smaller pods with varying amenities. This layout provided a lot of privacy among the various groups staying in the unit and the common living room, dining room & kitchen worked well for us. It is a ground floor unit and we could hear the group above us from time to time. Another thing to note is that it appears that some units might allow pets and at various times, we were able to hear barking dogs during our stay. It took us a bit to find the extra towels, pillows, etc., but eventually we found everything we needed. We did have to purchase soft-soap, TP, and kleenex for several of the bathrooms . . . but other than that, the unit was equipped with most everything we needed. The individual AC units worked well throughout the different areas of the unit, although the one in the primary BR was very loud. It was nice that the TV in the living room had many HDMI ports and AC power available as we had various HDMI sticks and devices among us and were able to get everything to work fine. The one issue that should be addressed is that the large sectional couch in the living room is old and very worn out, making it very difficult to get comfortable in and hard to get up from. Several of us sat in dining room chairs while watching TV . . . if you're young and spry, the couch probably would not be an issue. All the beds and showers and bathrooms were great. There are multiple community pools very close to the unit and because of them, several of us never even made it down to the main pools by the clubhouse. All in all, the development was fine and in a great location. As far as the unit, we will definitely consider it for upcoming trips to La Quinta.

Perfect place to relax!

We were all super impressed with the property! We were here for weekend 2 of Coachella and the property manager made it extremely easy for access and use. Linens and towels were provided and it was the perfect place to relax in between days. We will definitely want to be back here again! The Legacy Villa staff was also very nice and accomodating upon arrival as festival goers.

Great Rental

We’ve stayed at the Legacy Villas several times and this is one of the nicest units we’ve rented. The unit was very clean, had a kitchen stocked with great cookware and knives for dining in, and a nice view of the mountains. The set up is perfect for families. It’s on the bottom floor and has three separate patio areas to relax in. There’s also a grassy area right outside the back door if the kids want to toss the frisbee around….if they’re not completely worn out from swimming all day. Skip was great with communication and checking in was effortless. We’ll definitely book again.

Perfect get-away!

The condo was impeccable with more than enough room for two couples. It would accommodate 6 adults easily. The grounds are beautiful and perfectly maintained! We have stayed in the Palm Desert area many times and without a doubt, this property and location are at the top of our list. If you want total relaxation and the feel of a "home away from home," La Quinta and this property, in particular, should be your first choice!

Winter Retreat

You feel secluded even though amongst other condos. Beautiful grounds and so peaceful with so many things to do there and nearby. Enjoyed every minute and place was very relaxing

Great Stay!

This property was wonderful! The unit was very nice and comfortable! The location of the unit was amazing and is tucked away on a courtyard with a big fountain looking at the mountains and was very quiet. We had easy access to multiple pools which was great. The property manager was very responsive with questions.

We are a close Italian American family from the San Francisco Bay Area consisting of 2 sisters, a brother and our extended families. We love to get together and are having fun discovering the desert.

This property has a peaceful, serene location with beautiful views of the mountains and the large fountain. The villa is comfortable, well appointed and because of the separate suites, provides privacy and a 'retreat- like' feel. We have been enchanted by La Quinta area since our first sister's tennis trip 10 yrs ago. We stayed at Legacy one year with a friend and were captivated by the resort-like experience. From the visual treat to the many secret pools and Villas, it was so much fun. Our families wanted to come have fun in the desert too.
