This beachfront property is equipped with all amenities a guest could want or need. Locatedk an hour and a half away from Richmond, VA, an hour from Williamsburg, and twenty-five minutes from Gloucester, it is a hidden beachfront gem without a long drive! The home is three stories and offers breathtaking views over the Chesapeake Bay from each level of the house. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 2 half bathrooms, and 1 outside shower plus two large living room areas. The 2nd floor living room has a pull out sofa. The house comfortably sleeps 10.

The first floor entrance has a half bathroom (perfect access for when on the beach) with steps leading to the 2nd floor.

The 2nd floor has a living room (sofa pull out and TV) with access to a covered patio. The living room has a desk for those looking to take advantage of remote work situations. The spacious master bedroom (king bed) with a walk in closet faces the bay and has access to the covered patio. The en suite bathroom has a double sink vanity and shower. The 2nd floor also has a bedroom with a queen bed and another bedroom with two twin beds. The 2nd floor is equipped with a full bathroom (shower + tub combo). There is a washer and dryer conveniently located for our guests to use.

The 3rd floor provides an open concept living room, kitchen, and dining area that looks over the beach. The 3rd floor has a fourth bedroom (two twin beds), pantry, and large half bath. The kitchen has four barstools in addition to the dining table and is well equipped for any culinary feast. The living room has a large TV, perfect for fall sports viewing while taking in the breathtaking views.

Outside has a gas propane grill, outdoor shower, and fire pit with Adirondack chairs. There is a large beach front deck that overlooks the water with steps down to the private beach. The water is typically calm and you'll find it to be shallow in many parts. You can walk down the beach to get a close view of the Newport Comfort lighthouse.

The town of Mathews is 15 minutes away and offers wonderful dining options, quaint shops, and grocery stores. There is a convenience/grocery store and gas station about 7 minutes from the house for any quick trips.

Great location for day trip to Yorktown, Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Water Country, and other nearby river towns (Gloucester, Deltaville, Irvington, White Stone).

For safety and security, we have carbon monoxide detectors on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Smoke detectors are on each floor. Fire escape ladders are on the 2nd and 3rd floor with fire extinguishers in the kitchen and 1st floor bathroom. We have a ring camera doorbell (video + sound) and we have a ring camera + flood light that captures the front of the house (fire pit, beach walkway, and kayak storage area).
