Ny hyra egendom pÄ Chesapeake Bay, VA och bara 1 timme frÄn Richmond och 2 timmar frÄn Charlottesville!

Professionellt styrd lyxbostad pÄ 7 hektar med tillgÄng till vatten pÄ bÄda sidor, med en privat vit sandstrand och panoramautsikt över vattnet. Den 1800 kvm hem har tre sovrum, ett öppet koncept kök / LR / DR med enastÄende utsikt över vattnet med utsikt över Milford Haven och Chesapeake Bay.

VÀlutrustade för att rymma upp till 8 gÀster, med 3 sovrum bestÄende av en kung, tvÄ queen och en tvilling över full vÄningssÀng och tvÄ badrum inklusive en utomhusdusch. Varje uppmÀrksamhet pÄ detaljer har gjorts för att utrusta köket för gourmetkocken med professionellt kvalitetsbestick och köksredskap. Dessutom finns det en 5 brÀnnare gasgrill för grillar och en stor eldstad för att laga krabba krukor eller bara göra smores.

Vattnet som omger fastigheten Àr vÀldigt varmt och grunt med vit sand underfoot och vanligtvis mycket lugnt - bra för StandUp Paddleboarding, kajakpaddling, eller bara lounging i det med barnen.

Med tvÄ nybyggda bryggor som spÀnner över fastigheten med dÀck i varje Ànde finns det gott om omrÄden att sitta och koppla av vid vattnet dÀr du ibland kommer att upptÀcka pods av Bottlenose delfiner simma förbi. OmrÄdet har otroligt fiske efter striper och croaker samt gott om blÄ krabba och lokala ostron bokstavligen i bakgÄrden.

Seafood lovers behöver inte oroa sig för att fÄnga sina egna, men eftersom det finns en lokal fishmonger som sÀljer allt du kan önska frÄn sin curbside trailer i centrala Mathews (5 miles away) pÄ helgerna. OcksÄ i Mathews hittar du en Food Lion och en mÀngd olika restauranger och restauranger alternativ frÄn casual som pizza pÄ Southwind till fina middagar pÄ White Dog Bistro.

The accommodations are lovely and very comfortable at this rental. There’s everything imaginable you might need for an stress-free stay. Communication with the owner was easy and very timely. My only complaint is the “private white sandy beach” description is a bit of a stretch, which, in all fairness, may simply be the doings of Mother Nature. Overall, a great stay at this lovely location.

The property was better than advertised. It was beautiful, clean, very well-appointed, and serene. We wanted for nothing and we loved every minute. This is a lovely location for a quiet getaway and we would happily do it again.

Great Stay

Perfect trip- the house was well appointed with anything you could need. Our kids (and us) had a blast swimming, fishing, and crabbing. The house was exactly as listed, if not better in person. We are already thinking about our next stay!

Coastal Cottage on the Bay

Mathew’s is like home for me. I was not disappointed by this trip. We enjoyed Bay views, sitting on the deck and most importantly building community in the living room. What a great experience! I recommend this property for a couples getaway, families looking to getaway or a girls Trip.

Fantastic home and property

This was our third time staying here, and we'll be back again. House and property are great. Home was very clean and the kitchen is very well stocked with all cooking needs. Property is very well maintained and beautiful with plenty of outdoor activity options.

Better then we could have imagined!

Beautiful views, fun times in the river, on the dock and crabbing And roasting marshmallows on the fire pit! The kitchen is well appointed, there are plenty of toys and the decor and scenery make this a relaxing place to stay. A total find, great River house!

quiet getaway

House was great, very clean. Exactly as the pictures show. Had everything you need for a vacation. The water access was excellent. It was very peaceful on the deck and pier. The town of Matthews is nearby and has all you need for groceries or restaurants.

Peaceful July 4th getaway!

Beautiful home, very well maintained and decorated. Peaceful views from the living and dining room. Our four-year-old had a blast exploring the property and the swimming across the street was the perfect depth for him to safely explore. The owner also left great recommendations, including a fresh seafood purveyor downtown where we got delicious shrimp and clams for a outdoor boil (for which all the equipment was readily available!). It was a lovely, secluded little getaway—highly recommend!

Perfect quarantine vacation!

We had an amazing vacation here with our kids ages 3-9. We kayaked, fished, crabbed, and enjoyed the property and it’s two docks. There was so much to do and we never saw another person! The house was so nicely decorated and had everything we could need. Very clean! Mike has thought of everything. The kids loved using the crab hotel on the far dock to catch crabs and there were new beach chairs, wagon, floats, and an umbrella that we could use. Rented kayaks from Mobjack kayaks (she is amazing!) and did a charter boat with Captain Trey Sowers (highly recommend! So great with kids!). We hope to come back!!

Absolutely perfect

The house had everything we needed for a great week away. We really didn’t need to bring anything besides our clothes and personal things. There were even spare phone chargers and flashlights. The kitchen is very well-equipped and we enjoyed several fresh seafood meals at the house. The view is the best part, though, and watching the sunrise from the deck was my favorite thing. We rented kayaks and paddle boards and the teens enjoyed them a lot but we probably would have been fine with a one day rental as opposed to the whole week as we took several day trips away from the house to Haven Beach and Williamsburg and Jamestown and antiquing. Hole in the Wall was a great spot for dinner. Two of us enjoyed a chartered fishing trip and caught lots of Spanish Mackerel. This was the first time the guide didn’t clean the fish though, and that was a pain to do ourselves especially since the price of the charter was equal or higher than what we usually pay with fish-cleaning included. But we had everything we needed to do the job at the house. The mosquitos weren’t a problem. There were a few as expected in a marshy area but it wasn’t nearly as bad as I feared they would be. We definitely had a great time and hope to come back.

We originally planned to be fishing all week, but with the passing nor’easter and high tides, fishing wasn’t great. The home was so comfortable and so beautiful though and we enjoyed all our time together! The views from the docks are stunning! We can’t wait to go back again, hoping the weather will work in our favor next time!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!!

Beautiful!

Stunning views and immaculate house. Host was very accommodating and responsive, house was well stocked and clean. Views are unbelievable! Would recommend to anyone planning a trip to Mathews stay at this house. We hope to return in the future!

If you like being outside with nature. This is it. Great fishing on both sides of the peninsula. Great home, clean and yo to date.

This was our second time at this home. We love the access to water and the sandy bottom for our kids to play in. The house was clean and well appointed. Crabbing and fishing were excellent. Don’t hesitate to book this one!
