So happy you enjoyed staying at the Reel Diehl. Close to Captain Ron’s and all the great restaurants and Lakeside bar and grills on the West Side in Sunrise Beach. The house has been recently remodeled, and we are open all year round.

The Reel Diehl is a great cottage for families and large groups. You have access to the lake by the community dock and very close to the popular Captain Ron’s Beach bar. Come back and stay again. Renting year around.

Come back anytime to enjoy the Reel Diehl, as you have access to swim off the community dock, and we have several floats as well as life jacket in the garage. As you mentioned, Captain Ron’s is a short walk through the neighborhood or quick drive over. It’s a great place to have the kids swim in the lake all day and you hang out at their beach and get served cocktails all day. Also thank you for letting us know there was no grill brush, so we went and bought a new one and it’s by the Weber Gas Grill on the screened in porch. We appreciate letting us know!

So happy you found the Reel Diehl convenient and a great place to stay for fisherman. The subdivision access ramp is across the street from the house and we allow you to pull your truck and trailer and park on the lawn. We look forward to them coming back next month to fish again! Even though the owners have their own boat in the community dock, let me know if you might need to rent the neighbors empty slip. See you soon!

The screened in porch is our favorite place to sit at night or enjoy a morning cup of coffee. ☕️ Our second favorite spot is around the firepit, and you never have to buy wood as the owners cut down a tree several years ago and there is plenty of seasoned dry wood for s’mores or a chilly evening.
