Calming beach decor, hot tub, quality bed, stocked kitchen, a great book I may have to order to finish, 2 decks, view of the ocean, this had been an outstanding experience. Comfort and relaxation! Short drive to Brookings for dining and shopping or south to other places. Perfect location for exploring this beautiful area.

Cannot say enough good things about this rental. Host was amazing, really worked with us so we could stay longer. Everything was clean and the hot tub was great!

Wonderful Vacation Spot

We spent a week at White Rock and enjoyed the relaxing area as well as the easy access to the beach. The staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our private back deck and the hot tub was great..!! Thank you for the lovely time

Amazing!!

It was perfect! Exactly like the listing while also being ten times better, it was just the perfect vacation. The check in was smooth, everything was clean and we felt so welcome. Thank you, will definitely have to come back soon!

The location is nice and had great beach access. The property also had a spacious deck and large hot tub, which was the highlight of our stay. The attendant on the property was very kind and helpful, though we only saw him once during our stay. Aside from the back deck, the home itself is in need of a lot of repairs. I am not accustomed to staying at places in this state. Also, cleanliness was a bit of an issue. I won’t go into detail, but dishes had organic material on them, not food, that shouldn’t have been there. I recommend washing everything before you use it. There was a lamp that didn’t work in the living room, exposed wiring under the dishwasher, water damage in the bathroom, sofa cushions kept slipping off, and broken kitchen utensils. I would not stay at this location again, maybe another cottage on the property, but not this one.

Beachside stay

Comfortable space for a short stay. The kitchen was well equipped for plates and glasses. We did not really cook so cannot comment on cooking implements. Great large deck with private hot tub made for good relaxation space with a small view of ocean. Although not directly on the beach it was a nice private location. Great location of resort for exploring regional beaches, state parks and coastal viewpoints.

Some Concerns

We had a wonderful time but have the following suggestions.The property needs maintenance. Screws need to be screwed into cabinets, floor needs repair, painting and most importantly, lock on door needs to work all the time.

Nice private spot

First time staying in this cabin. Best part was the privacy of the hot tub and the large deck. Bad part was it was covered in droppings from the trees and I had to sweep it myself to keep from tracking it all in the house. Deck needs some work and refinishing. Looks pretty shabby. Most of the living area has a large dining set so only one sofa. Needs more comfortable sitting spaces. The bed in the master was not very comfy and squeeked and creaked with every movement. On the plus side, it was nice and clean and had nice towels and even towels for the hot tub. Also no dishwasher. We've stayed in many of the cabins and while this one is still nice it wouldn't be my first choice. All that being said, there's no better place to stay than White Rock for the view and the beach.
