The villa is fully staffed with daily cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Catering and special occasions are our specialty!

The house itself is fantastic, but combined with the amenities of hotel punta islita, I can’t imagine a more terrific vacation.

Pura Vida Paradise!

The property:Even more beautiful than pictured. No misrepresentations here at all. What’s also important is the beauty of the surrounding area, which is important in Costa Rica. The villa is in a guarded neighborhood full of rolling hills and meticulously maintained. The villa is spotless and clean, well equipped, and has many places to relax and lounge. The pool is refreshing and clean l, a great place to relax and view scenery. There are multiple rockers to enjoy the outdoors, as well as pool loungers and other outdoor seating. House staff:They are kind, accommodating, and very hardworking. They prepared a welcome meal with fresh juice that we could enjoy at our leisure upon arrival. They were very flexible with arrival times to accommodate our preferences and so kind to my kids. They went out of their way to make things special for my family and accommodate every request we made. Breakfast was different everyday based on our preference, tasted amazing, and was beautifully presented. Villa experiences:I’ll start with the cultural dancing! This was such a special experience that was not only a performance but opportunity for my family to take part I. The fun and join in. Our housekeeper led the dance with her beautiful children and we felt like part of her family when included. The painting…this wasn’t a “class” but had all the materials set up with inspirational pictures. I have so many more great things to say but VRBO doesn’t give me enough room type.

An amazing Villa

My family of 7, including a 5 year old and a 2 year old had the most wonderful 12 days at Villa Colibri. From the moment Kathy confirmed our reservation it was nothing but a joy working with her. She was so helpful - answering questions so promptly and providing such great information in helping to plan out our trip. It is obvious that she loves Costa Rica and wants her guests to have the best experience possible. The villa is spacious and beautiful with the most amazing views. We loved the outdoor space - really comfortable furnishings with a nice breeze. We shared many meals at the outdoor dining table. We loved taking the golf cart to the Beach Club and to the small market in Islita. I can not say enough about the staff at the villa. They were so lovely and our breakfasts were not only delicious but presented so beautifully. We had Ligia come to the villa several times to prepare dinner for us which was such a treat. Eduardo is a wonderful local guide who accompanied us on several excursions. We loved Costa Rica - especially the people who were friendly and happy and made us feel so welcomed. It was a wonderful trip and we can't wait to return. We are so grateful to have had the privilege to stay at Villa Colibri.

4 Bedroom Punta Islita

I recently spent 6 nights with a group of six in this home. The view, staff, house, and host were all fantastic. Everything we a desire to do our wanted, as met promptly and with great enthusiasm. I will stay again and recommend this house to all.

We have traveled many places, and Punta Islita is our favorite. There are many beautiful places, and Punta Islita is certainly one of them. The people of Islita make Islita our favorite place in the world. It is a culture that has to be experienced to be understood.

We love the blue zone and feel healthier every time we visit. The food is delicious, Genuine and prepared with love.

Villa Colibri is very special for several reasons. The uninterrupted views. No rooftops between you and the white water views.

The staff care is amazing. Better than the nicest hotel. Poolside cocktails, beautiful breakfasts and much more.

The villa is 6,500 feet on one story.

The salt water infinity pool is wonderful. Every thing is healthy.
