Mormor SpektakulÀra Beach Cottage

Uppflugen pÄ en bluff vid kanten av Stilla havet, mormor Beach Cottage erbjuder fri vita utsikt över vattnet som inte kan förbÀttras. Hon visste sÀkert hur att plocka dem "- det hÀr huset kunde inte vara bÀttre! Det ligger inne i privata gated entrén till Irish Beach exklusiva tillgÄng till stranden och ser rÀtt ner till stranden till den vÀstligaste punkten pÄ den nedre 48 - Point Arena Lighthouse. Mormor var mycket ansprÄkslös och sÄ Àr hennes hus; Hon byggde den första hem i Irish Beach med 3 sovrum, 1 badrum, tillverkade av fast kÀrna furu (ingen paneler hÀr!) med massor av fönster för att njuta av utsikten och ett fullt utrustat kök. Mormor ville inte oss barn sitter runt en TV nÀr det undersökte göras utanför, inte heller var hon kommer att vara inne att göra tvÀtt. Du kommer inte hitta en TV eller tvÀttstuga i det hÀr huset! Hon visste inte riktigt vet hur man anvÀnder en dator, men ja vÄrt hus Àr utrustad med wifi. Jag tror mormor mÄste ha varit en romantisk, eftersom hennes hus sÀker sÀtter dig pÄ humör. Med ett glas vin framför brasan och konstant ljudet av kraschar vÄgor, honung vid min sida, ja ... Jag kan bara inte tÀnka mig nÄgot bÀttre! Om du Àlskar lÄnga promenader pÄ stranden, och naturens underbara landskap Jag tror att du ocksÄ kommer att Àlska Mormor Beach Cottage.

This is one of my best vacations ever. It was lovely and totally relaxing. We've been on many cruises and beach trips. This surpassed all of them. We watched a whale pass by, seals on the beach and playing in the waves, and deer in the yard. This was perfect for us.

By the photos you can see it is an impossibly beautiful location. The Inside is perfectly vintage and the lack of technology enhances your stay in ways you really can't imagine until you are there. Fully stocked with everything you need and more. More than just a home this place evokes a feeling of magic and whimsy. We truly did not want to leave. There were some issues but it did not even take away from the experience because the owner is easy to get ahold of and made everything seamless. The single bathroom was nice and the tub/shower was roomy and clean. The beach nearby was easy to drive to and empty most the time, we loved watching the horse tours come by. Reading on the wrap around deck was beyond relaxing. I cannot say enough about this wonderful place you will not regret it.

We absolutely loved our stay at Grandma’s Cottage! Perched right on the edge of the cliffs in Manchester, this home feels like a private slice of paradise. The sweeping ocean views are simply breathtaking—whether you’re sipping coffee in the morning or watching the sky light up during one of the most spectacular sunsets you’ll ever see. We even spotted whales and other wildlife right from the comfort of the living room!The cottage itself is charming and cozy, with a quaint fireplace that made evenings feel extra special. Large windows wrap around the house, so no matter where you are, the beauty of the coast is always in sight. We could even see the lighthouse in the distance, which added to the magic.The location is perfect—peaceful and secluded, yet just a short drive to Mendocino and Fort Bragg for shopping, dining, and exploring. The beach nearby is stunning and perfect for long walks.If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with unforgettable views, wildlife, and coastal charm, this is the place. We can’t wait to return!

Cliffside View of Ocean

Spectacular location. Hear the ocean waves. Great views from the windows and porch. Driveway is a slight challenge - would not attempt in a long wheelbase vehicle.

Peaceful getaway

Came to disconnect from the world and technology and recharge my own battery. It worked! The place is perfectly situated for solitude and yet accessible to things if you want/need them. Very clean and communication with the host is great. The night sky was amazing as well!

Breathtaking

Such a Treasure

We look forward to staying here every year and now it feels so wonderfully familiar, it is like coming home. We come in early September and it is usually sunny. This year it was mostly foggy much of the day after clear mornings, except for today, which was gorgeous from the outset. What is wonderful is wether overcast or sunny is that the beach is always amazing. Having it be a bit grey gave us an excuse to read, which we love, nap , cook , ( the kitchen is great) enjoy the wonderful fireplace, play some music, and walk and enjoy the solitude of the quiet beach. We took our bikes and rode up Big River trail which is very doable through 2nd growth redwoods, right before Mendocino. We also drove to Ledfords in Albion for a wonderful very special dinner with an ocean view table. Another memorable September get away. So very grateful for Grandmas very very special beach cottage in our lives. Thank you Jennifer, for being such an incredible host. -Tim and Mary
