Mill Valley Oasis

Wonderful Stay in Mill Valley

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and everything was fantastic! We love this house and which we could stay longer. It’s so relaxing and still its location is a short walk to town and everything you need. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Mill Valley Gem

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is beautifully decorated, and I must say that the pictures do not do it justice. We loved the many MCM/vintage pieces. It's also in a great location in a lovely neighborhood. We will definitely look to rent this home again whenever we return to the Mill Valley area.

Nothing short of AMAZING!

This home exceeded our expectations. From the beauty of the location; the flow and ambience of each of the rooms; the well-stocked kitchen (appliances and condiments), bathrooms and even the laundry room— we could not have had a more perfect week. And oh—the QUIET (and visit by a red-shouldered hawk!)

Wonderful art filled home

This is our go to house in Mill Valley. The location can't be beat and the overall energy of the home is comfortable yet posh with well appointed appliances and furniture and interesting art. It is a beautiful place to spend time.

Fantastic Stay in Mill Valley

Really loved staying at this house. It's such a cute house and decorated in such a fun, eclectic way. Our two kids (13 and 11) love all of the "retro" touches in the house. The location was fantastic. Communication with the host was great and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this rental to others coming to the area.

Beautiful Mid Century Retreat

The home was lovely. The grounds were lush and verdant. Inside beautiful mid century antiques. Everything you needed to stay fully stocked kitchen bathrooms plush towels and luxury linens. I highly recommend this home.

Our Return to The Shire

This was the perfect house for us as we returned to Mill Valley for our first visit since we moved away five years ago. We enjoyed relaxing each evening after visiting old friends, sites and restaurants. It truly felt like we were living in a treehouse. With luxurious amenities.

Best of the best!

Spent two wonderful weeks in this beautiful home and that’s exactly what it felt like … home. It’s so amazingly decorated yet comfortable and wonderfully appointed with all the amenities you could want. The kitchen has all top of the line appliances and a cozy breakfast nook. The neighborhood is lovely and only a short walk to town. Great central location to all the area attractions. Adrienne was very professional, accommodating and responsive to any requests. Highly recommend this property and look forward to a return visit.

Perfect Mill Valley House

This was an absolutely wonderful house for a couples vacation in Mill Valley and the San Francisco area. Not only lovely furnishings but all of it was high quality and extremely comfortable. We loved our mornings and evenings hanging out in the kitchen and/or living area. The bedrooms have great mattresses and the bathrooms were well stocked with towels. The kitchen has everything you need to make a meal but you can also take a nice walk to town and choose from several good places to eat. We would love to stay here again!

Mill Valley Gem

Terrific house. Has lots of extras… heated floors (heavenly), steam shower, fancy coffee maker etc! To be honest we didn’t even turn on a TV other than in the kitchen. It was a lovely “tree house” to enjoy conversation and reading. Best part for us… the kitchen table. You will not be disappointed!!

Groovy House in Mill Valley

This fabulous house is extremely well equipped, sleek, very central in beautiful Mill Valley close to a park with a creek and downtown. Adrienne Biggs Tennant, (ConciergeMarin LLC) was very prompt and quick to respond to any requests, questions or when any issues came up (plumbing issues were resolved promptly within few hours). We stayed with 3 children (2 slept in one Queen bed). Will be back.

Beautiful; stylish, comfortable and fun!

This home is beautiful, stylish, comfortable and fun! We enjoyed feeling right at home while visiting our son and granddaughter in Belvedere. The artwork is a treat. Adrienne is an amazing concierge - very responsive and helpful with suggestions. The kitchen and house have everything you could possibly need. We're in our 70s but the two flights of stairs (with handrail) from the car to lower entrance were not a problem. Downtown Mill Valley is a short, level walk. Supermarkets are a short drive. We visited the city of SF twice where we strolled through the Union Square district, enjoyed SFMOMA, Pier 39, Aquarium of the Bay and had a superb dinner at Michelin-star Mr. Jiu's in Chinatown. Took a walk through Mill Valley's Bayfront Park. Wineries are an easy drive including Flowers in Healdsburg and Bogle in Clarksburg. We would love to stay here again. Thank you, Adrienne!

Beautiful, Solid, House w/ Fun Vintage Decor

This is a gorgeous house: Very well built, with solid doors & windows, gorgeous stone tile in the bathrooms, vintage &/or mid-century inspired lighting and decor and fantastic original modern art pieces. Overall, it is a comfortable and very well appointed dwelling, with sunlight filtering in through the trees. We especially appreciated the radiant heated floors. Our only challenge was unlocking the outside doors. It took a few tries by several members of our family to finally get one of them unlocked upon our arrival. We were also unsuccessful in getting the bluetooth to work in order to stream music, but we ultimately didn't feel it was enough of an issue to contact the concierge about.

A beautiful property in a great location

The pictures don't do this home justice. It is extremely well maintained and decorated with intriguing works of art. The two outdoor decks are great, and Adrienne was very eager to make our stay enjoyable. Our only problems were with the internet service, which we could not get to work properly, and the hot water system, which needed to be resent several times. Once we figured out the latter, it was no problem, but the spotty internet on an insecure network was an annoyance. Because we were there for the Thanksgiving holiday, Adrienne was out of town and could not attend to this. Had that not been the case, I feel certain she would have done so.

Exceptional home and location

Our family of four adults headed to Mill Valley for a Celebration of Life for a friend who had lived just a short distance from this rental. We'd visited him from the East coast before and knew just how special MV is. The area is so soothing and relaxing...and this home takes full advantage of the natural surroundings and peaceful environment. Big windows let in dappled sunlight filtered by towering trees. It has everything you could want from an unbelievably well stocked kitchen to a variety of bathroom products I'd never seen provided in other rentals. The artwork and decorative items are amazing. The short easy walk into town makes it the perfect place to get a special cup of coffee in the morning or a delicious dinner in the evening without having to get in the car. But if you do have a car, there is off street parking right in front of the home...not something you'd find at many rentals in the area. If you don't do stairs, this might not be the home or town for you. They are everywhere! The property manager is a delight to deal with and communication is incredibly easy. I've already shared the link with friends who are planning a northern California get away! It's an A+ rental.

Everything was perfect. The house provides everything one needs, and then some. Our stay was so comfortable and enjoyable. My family could not stop exclaiming about the high-quality mid-century modern design and decor--stunning. The photos do not do justice to this rental. Highly recommend!
