River Cabin - On beautiful Mountain Fork River Sleeps 11

River Blessing cabin is one of the few cabins that actually sits on the beautiful Mountain Fork River. Built in 2023 it sleeps 11 and is 1,984 sq ft. The living room, dining room and kitchen are all open concept and the entire back wall are windows that allow you to see beautiful views of the river. So whether you are cooking in the well appointed kitchen, enjoying your breakfast in the dining room or sitting in front of the 2 story stone fireplace you will have spectacular river views. Across the river from the cabin is a nature preserve so your views will always be incredible. The back deck has a stone outdoor fireplace, living room area, dining area, Blackstone Griddle and hot tub. The deck has stairs that lead directly to the waters edge where you can swim, kayak, fish or sit and enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine at the outdoor fire pit. The cabin has 3 king suites each with its own ensuite. The bunk room has a queen bed with a twin bunk on top and a set of twin bunk beds. The bunk room has a spacious bathroom right across the hall.

The outdoor fire place on the back porch and the fire pit are both wood burning. We provide one set up for one fire. If you would like to have fire wood delivered to the cabin for an extra charge please let us know and we will put you in contact with a local person that delivers fire wood.

River Blessing is located in Broken Bow Retreat and is a master planned gated community. Resting on 80 acres, this breathtaking oasis is within three hours from Dallas. For the fishing enthusiast you will be pleased to know that there are trout, black bass, small mouth bass, crappie, pike and walleye (just to name a few) that can be caught right outside the cabin. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, family quality time, or just to kick up your feet for the weekend, there is truly nothing quite like it.

We also own the cabin next door to River Blessing called Water's Edge. So if you have a family reunion or want to invite more friends look into booking Water's Edge.

Easter & Engagement Party

I needed a cabin that slept a large family!! We have 11 plus an infant and this cabin worked out wonderfully. The area was perfect for our family Easter Egg hunt, Fishing right on the river and I was able to propose to my g/f with the beautiful river flowing in the background. (She said Yes!!!). The Blackstone and Hot Tub made the trip that much more enjoyable. Thank you Fire Dancer! River Blessings cabin will be in our rotation now for getaways!!

Four couples for a Community group retreat

Wow- beautifully appointed -great kitchen and every tool imaginable-fantastic bathrooms -incredible deck -great indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Loved the views and the surrounding beauty that was all over the place. Highly recommend this River Blessing Cabin. It was truly a Blessing had by all 8 persons attending.

Christmas in Broken Bow

For Our annual family Christmas trip we decided to trek to Broken Bow from Austin, TX. We found this beautiful property in the Broken Bow Retreat and were so thrilled that the cabin was exactly as it was described. In fact it was like new! The owners even setup a beautiful Christmas tree for us which was such a nice touch. You will not go wrong with this property- it came stocked with very nice pots & pans for those who love to cook, and the usual appliances, a keurig, toaster, etc. We spent many nights sitting on deck with a fire, listening to the critters outside & the kids fished every day & even caught & released a few decent sized bass. We highly recommend this place!

Weekend getaway

We just wanted to get away from the city and do a little of hiking and fun fishing for the boys. This place is almost perfect!..we had a little issues with our unwanted friends( lol)..but we handle it ok. The host ( lisa) was wonderful and very helpful in anything that we inquired. She is on stand by to answer any inquiries that we may have or run into!...someone's from our group forgot their's belonging ,the host help with getting things back!... Thank you Lisa! For everything!. Everything in this cabin is perfect!. We love the location and it's such peacefully located. We will do it again soon!
