Beautiful Balcony View of Beach

Great location and accommodations. Condo was very clean and had a nice decor. Enjoyed watching beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Loved being able to sit in bed and drink coffee in the morning while looking at the beach through the large bedroom window. Enjoyed being able to walk to both The Beach House and Bijoux for dinner. We had a great stay!

Perfect Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband & I stayed in a Beachside, condo and we loved the view. We especially liked having the Tram available to take us around the property and to the Wharf since we did not have a car. When we had a problem with hot water in the shower, which turned out to be an easy "fix", we found Management to be very responsive. My only suggestion is that the terrace be thoroughly cleaned as it was a little "grimy" If we visit Destin again, I will definitely book this location again.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The AC in this condo doesn't work well at all and the thermostat definitely not the right temperature. We woke up hot many of nights we were there. Bed is not comfortable. Need to make sure the condo is vacuumed before guest arrive. The view is great and everything else was good overall. Nice location and plenty of things to do.

Beautiful beach views!

My husband and I were looking for a place to rent on the beach for a few days to just relax. The condo was very clean and comfortable, and the views from the balcony and bedroom were gorgeous! It was so easy to get to the beach and pool, and we really appreciated the beach chairs that were available to use. The app was a bit confusing and we weren’t really sure where we were going at first when we got on property but we figured it out. We also had a small issue with the hot water but maintenance fixed it quickly. Also some of the electrical outlets were a bit loose. Overall it was a wonderful vacation and we would stay here again! Recommendations: Beach House has good food and live music, and is right on property. Sunset Bay Cafe is a must for breakfast (and you can take the tram over which is convenient if you don’t feel like driving)! Rainforest black light golf is super fun if you’re looking to do mini golf.

Balcony views

We loved our stay and have no complaints! The views from the balcony were impressive and where we stayed most mornings and late afternoons- Check in and communication was a breeze- loved being so convenient to restaurants and to the beach ! Would definitely be back! The condo is exactly as stated in the listing- very roomy and the view from the bedroom is lovely and makes you feel like you are right on the beach

Disappointing

Condo was very outdated, bathroom was the worst - scalding water only in the shower, dirty, loose toilet, rusty metal hanger on the toilet to hold toilet paper. Old metal headboard not attached to bed frame. In dire need of painting. Beachside II building was shabby and in need of refurbishing. Entry gate had peeling paint - very unwelcoming.

We really enjoyed the location and beach. The condo is a little out dated and needs some TLC, fresh paint, upgrade toilet to comfort height etc. The condo had a spectacular view and the sunsets where amazing.

Excellent and clean location for a wonderful getaway

My husband and I stayed here for our 20 year anniversary getaway. The condo was clean and well furnished. We truly enjoyed the beachfront balcony. The location was excellent - very close to lots of restaurants and shopping. We also enjoyed the mini-golf offered on-site. We had a few minor issues but they didn’t bother us enough to even call to try to address. I’m sure they could have. There wasn’t a Roku remote in the living room and we couldn’t get the one in the bedroom to work. However we just watched cable. We do like to go to sleep with the tv on and use the sleep timer. However we couldn’t get it to work after the first night. Also, the light on the balcony is out. Again these are not things that took away from our visit so we still rate our stay as excellent. Oh and there was still construction going on while we were there. I distinctly remember when I booked it checking the dates and it said construction would be over before we arrived. Again, this didn’t end up bothering us, but there was noise that could be heard even on the beach. If this bothers you, you may want to ask before booking and verify before going.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beachside II is in a great location. We've stayed at the Sandestin Resort several times in other units. Our favorite spot was the balcony with comfy furniture and fantastic views. The unit was well furnished and the bed was comfy. It is a little different with the master bedroom not connected to the bathroom but it's a 1bdrm, so not a huge deal, but the bathroom is small! Also, I would suggest adding standing luggage racks to the unit and the lamps had missing finials.

Cockroaches

We enjoyed the first part of our stay for the most part. My boyfriend had trouble sleeping because the bed was so hard but other than that we loved the area and were going to start planning a return visit in September. Unfortunately the last night we saw cockroaches on 2 separate occasions. They were crawling out from under the dishwasher as well as crawling on the balcony. We could not sleep at all and contemplated packing up and leaving in the middle of the night. After paying over $3000 for our stay we were extremely disappointed in this. We would have used one of your properties for our next trip but this definitely has us rethinking that. We really don’t want to write a negative review so we wanted to reach out to you directly first to see if we could be compensated in some way for this stay or any future stays.
