Lovely stay in Douglas

We really enjoyed our stay! This house is super clean and so nice inside. There are lots of thoughtful extras; plenty of bath towels, very well-stocked kitchen, beach towels, beach chairs, shampoo and conditioner and body wash. It is in a good location, very close to downtown Douglas and an easy walk to a grocery store, cute coffee shop, restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!

Excellent Location for our vacation

We had a group of 8. My husband, our 2 children, son-in-law, 3 grands and I thought the location was perfect for our activities in Douglas, Saugatuck, and Holland. The size of our rental house was perfect for us. The main bath was a little tight, but nicely decorated. We had wonderful communication with our hostess. Thank you Keri for your quick response to our questions.

Property was OK and close enough to beach. Enjoyed Saugatuck with kids. Clean and nicely furnished.

Relaxing getaway...

We were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the house. Comfortable beds, nice linens and a fully stocked kitchen. I would recommend this house for families. I loved that it was pet friendly!

Wonderful Experience

This property was exactly as pictured on the website. It was very clean and provided all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect for walking to the beach, coffee shop and town center. We loved it!

Douglas Summer Getaway

Great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants. The home was very well stocked, especially compared to other rentals we have chosen in the past. We wouldn’t have needed to bring beach towels or chairs. Our kids loved the ping pong table and air hockey table in the garage.

Dogcation

We took our dog and he loved it! The place was so clean and comfortable! We actually got to meet the owner of the property for a brief minute, and she was so sweet and respectful of our time and space. We will stay here again if we come back to the area. Being able to bring your dog when you travel is such a plus! Thank you so very much!

4th of July Family Reunion

Great place to stay during 4th of July weekend! Restaurants, leisure activities, and beach time all within walking distance! We were close to my family members being in the heart of Douglas. The home was beautiful, we appreciated the amenities, and most importantly we felt safe! Also enjoyed some peaceful wildlife right in the backyard; deer and a family of pheasant! Thank you!

Great location - Roomy, accommodating property!

Exactly as pictured - we loved this property! It fit 3 couples and 1 additional adult (on couch) just fine. Very clean place and lots of good amenities. Comfy beds and linens - great water pressure & tv's in every room was a plus (though we hardly used them). Also, beach towels on hand & beach chairs in the garage were nice to have. Large outside area to sit and enjoy coffee was great! Definitely not a complaint but just a suggestion to have a few basic cooking/grilling spices & oil to have on hand - also a large casserole dish would be nice. We will definitely stay here again whenever we are in the area. :)

Perfect place to stay for our family vacation!

Great property - first thing we noticed upon entering was how clean it was. The kids quickly found the ping pong table and air hockey table in the garage, which they thought was the coolest thing. Beds were very comfortable, and was pleased with how much was provided that we don’t typically see in rentals (extra toilet paper, coffee/tea, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, etc). The property also had a lot of green space which was nice for walking around the dogs. The kids enjoyed riding their scooters up and down the hill by the house. And we all enjoyed how close the house is to so much - we were able to walk to the beach, dinner spots, grocery store, ice cream, coffee etc! This was our first time visiting Michigan and we are already thinking about coming back and hopefully being able to stay in this house again. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable!

Charming lake house

House was clean and well-appointed. Stocked like a resort hotel with toiletries, beach towels and chairs, even sand toys. It is about a mile + from Douglas beach and walking distance from downtown Douglas. About 15-20 minute drive to Holland. Neighborhood is quiet, although street is busy. But the house is not noisy. Beds are comfy, shower is so nice with strong water pressure and nice hot water. Kitchen is well stocked with small appliances and coffee/tea supplies. Plenty of pillows and blankets. We had plenty of room for 5 adults and 4 children. Owners are very responsive to questions. Would definitely rebook and highly recommend.
