Det är 10 meter från stranden inbäddat i ett lugnt område, men inom några minuter av nästan allt!

Hissen är en gud-sänd när det gäller begränsad rörlighet, bagage och dagligvaror. Det första våningen sovrummet är handikappvänligt; Bad är kaklat, Dusch är en ingen läpprull i duschen för att rymma en rullstol. Den har massor av gripstänger, en fäll ned sits i ryggen och en duschhuvudstav. Toaletten är i handikapphöjd med gripbar. Handfatet är anslutet till väggen för att rymma en rullstol för att dra in under den. Det finns en bärbar lekplats för den lilla.

PERFECT SUMMER STAY

The 4 bathes and 5 bedrooms was great for space for several families to stay. Being right on the beach is super convenient.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at the beach. The house was fine, nothing really stands out about it. It's a nice house on the beach with an elevator. I'm assuming that the people before us had a dog as dog hair was in the cushions of the couch and in the corners and on some of the bedding. The furniture was probably last updated in the late 90's early 2000's. Also, they seemed to be having an ant problem the week we were there, nothing to bad, just a few here and there. But we were there for the beach, not so much the house.

Reviewer Comments: We really like this house, but it needs general repair. missing and loose pickets on side deck, broken board at bottom of entrance stairs and a rotten board on back steps. We also had elevator problems that were fixed pretty quickly.Nails on both decks need to be pounded down.

Overall good value

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this property was good value for the price paid. Pros were location, amazing views, good space, inside was clean, and the elevator and no threshold shower were lifesavers for my mobility challenged mom. Beds were pretty comfy as well - you never know what you will get in terms of a mattress in rentals but these were good. Cons: Outside of the house was a mess with toys, broken boogie boards and rusted deck chairs. I ended up trying to stack everything I could under the house neatly, but left the rusty deck chairs where they were in fear of needing a tetanus shot. Other cons were the house in general needs maintenance on a lot of small things. One burner in the kitchen was out, some wall outlets did not work, medicine cabinet in upstairs bathroom did not close properly, windows rusted shut, etc. All of these are small things and something to consider if these things will bother you. We enjoyed our stay overall and do not regret renting the property.

Great location with handicap accessibility, but dirty.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was wonderful!!!Definitely needs a facelift on decor.Cleaning left a lot to be desired. Spider eggs on side of the bedroom door frame, mold on the shower curtains, stove burners were black/burnt (every time we used the stove, it smelled like something was burning), feet were black within a few minutes of arrival and walking around upstairs. Some wood on the balcony steps was coming up too.Overall a good place and would stay again, but I highly suggest the cleaning be investigated or a new company take this part over.Also, worked out great for a family member who is in a wheelchair!!

Tiger Inn - First week in July 2023

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Place is well stocked with kitchenware, had everything we needed,including sharp knives (which is a problem in some places). Bonus was a crib and two high chairs (one of the reasons we chose this place). Somewhat outdated, but it sad clean and there is lots of seating. Two decks are nice. Only thing missing was a walkway to the beach, so we ended up leaving most of our best out just before going down the dunes. Good fit for our 9 family members. Dog friendly.

Nice place to stay

We enjoyed our stay at Flying Tiger Inn a lot as it was reasonably priced and fit all the needs of our family. However, a few suggestions for improvements to be made to optimize the stay for guests. Better beach access: no stairs or structure to maneuver to go to and from the beach. The stairs need some cleaning of weeds and possible poison ivy growing. Lastly, having a TV in every bedroom. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay! Thank you for the comfortable vacation.

fantastic view!

Only complaint was that proper instructions for operating the elevator were not given until AFTER the elevator malfunctioned. It also took longer than hoped to have it fixed (largely due to it being a Sunday/holiday).

Reviewer Comments: We loved the location of the house but the house itself was disappointing. We did not feel the house was very clean. I don't feel the floors were swept very well before we got there because I was sweeping up black dog hair and our dog isn't black. Also, saw cockroaches on 2 different occasions, one being in a bedroom which resulted in my daughter sleeping on the couch all week. I don't like giving bad reviews but I felt those things needed to be voiced.

#90 Flying Tiger Inn

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we got the key for the property, the agent told us the property was ready for us. However, when we arrived, there were workers building new stairs to the deck and we could not get into the property with a wheelchair. When our son called the management company to find out what was going on, the agent did not know there was work going on and wanted my son to ask who the people were. Poor management when property managers don't know what is going on with the property. We went to dinner and everyone was gone when we arrived, but there was some debris in the driveway and carport which we had to remove. Maybe we missed the instructions, but we did not know our sheets were stored in boxes in the carport. We did see dirty linens on the ground outside the boxes and realized that's where the clean sheets were stored after we went to put the kids to bed and didn't see sheets in any of the rooms. The accessible shower was great, but there were no grab bars by the toilet. The elevator worked well for us. The beach access was great for the kids and we enjoyed the view from the decks.(The pictures of the decks don't show how big they are, but there was plenty of room for our group of 9). The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped, although the dishwasher did not clean very well. It was a comfortable feeling house and was located near Jeannette's Pier, shopping, and in the middle of the outer banks so close to tourist attractions. We all had a very good week.Bathroom accessibility was a bit of an issue, but we would recommend this property to others.
