Sweetwoods is the perfect get away just minutes from Lake Rathbun and Honey Creek State Park. Perfect for all families large and small as it sleeps up to 10 people and includes RV hookups. Couples can enjoy the master suite that includes a KING size bed and JACUZZI tub! This cabin in the woods includes 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living room and kitchen with a sitting room and fireplace. Sip on a beverage of your choice on the walk out deck and enjoy the wildlife that frequents the yard. There is also an outdoor fire pit for a peaceful place to spend your evenings. The large parking area leaves plenty of room for you to park your boat!

The location is wonderful! We went for a lake weekend and getting to and from the lake was quick and easy. There was plenty of space to hang out in and it was comfortable. However, there was little/no freezer space in either freezer and limited fridge space due to owner’s food. It was relatively clean, but a lot of areas that weren’t kept clean. The grill did not work. Paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, and hand soap were in limited supply.

Not clean

The cabin is nice and cozy but it was not clean. Showered hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. Bathroom floors not swept or cleaned. Had to wipe everything down before we used it. Refrigerator was full of expired food and needed to be cleaned. Not happy about paying a cleaning fee when we had to clean before using.

Whoever took the pictures I would like to have them take pictures for me if I was ever to sell something the porch is not even close to what the pictures look like. Very very small.the inside was nice and worked well. Grill needs to be replaced and porch needs to be cleaned floor very dirty!!

Other than the ants and mice and someone left fish guts in the garage can it wasn’t a bad place to stay we were fishing most of the time

We're from Moravia, IA and love to spend time outdoors! We bought this cabin to get away from city life and closer to nature. Families and friends getting together around a campfire at Sweetwoods is hard to beat!

Varför värden valde detta boende

Great neighbors and access to hunting, fishing, boating, and wildlife viewing. The Honey Creek resort is minutes away where folks can rent boats and enjoy a round of golf! We're also just up the road from delicious Mexican food! Just call Mexican Affair and go pick it up (we eat there all the time 😊)! BK's Boathouse is 5 minutes away and is a great spot to hang out after a long day on the water.
