Do not book with this person

We did not get the boat we book that is shown above, very small boat with no water, no tender boat as promised to get back and forth to the boat. The owner would not respond in a timely manner, unable to get back to the boat for approximately 5 1/2 hours. Was offered another boat but by then we were done, we waited all day to get our belongings, We parked at the place that was told to us, a place where all the fishermen parked when they were gone for days only to find we had a 75.00 ticket the next morning for parking there overnight. Worst Vacation we have ever had!!!

Unable to stay, poor communication from host. Not sure this is a legit VRBO rental property.

We received vague communication from the host throughout the day with basic information that they pick people up to bring them to the sailboat at the Bradenton Beach Pier. They gave a phone number & asked that we call to communicate. I messaged them through the app and also texted and called them to let them know we would be arriving around 5:30 p.m. as check in was listed as 5:00 p.m. or later with no response. We made it to a nearby beach and set on the beach until it was dark while we attempt to call them multiple times without any answer. Meanwhile I reached out to VRBO's customer service who spent 45 minutes on the phone with me trying to reach them as well with no success. They also told me they were trying to find us an alternate place to stay with no success and told me that we we should make different arrangements on our own and that we would be receiving a refund but I have not received confirmation of that from VRBO yet so I imagine I will have to make another phone call to get that straightened out. Around 8:45 p.m. I booked a last minute hotel in Sarasota and around 9:00 p.m. the host texted me that they were sending a boat to come and get us. By that time I told them we had waited around far too long and would not be staying at their location. I still don't even know if this is a legit place to stay. It was very disappointing & we were looking forward to spending the evening on the sailboat and enjoying the sunset. I would advise against the hassle.
