Gör ett stänk på denna "Up North" 1950s vintagehyttestilhem på 100 meter av den vackra Long Lake. Denna plats kan inte slå för en familjesamling tillsammans på sommaren eller en helg säsongsresa. Bara några minuter från centrala Traverse City, har denna vintage stuga ett bra "steg tillbaka i tiden" känner för det men har också många nuvarande uppdateringar för att göra en trevlig vistelse. Splash Landing har 4 sovrum och 2 badrum och kommer att sova upp till 11. (endast 8 vuxna) Trägolv genom huvudnivån. Detta är ett två nivå hus med utgående färdig källare har trägolv genom hela huvudnivån. Platsen ligger på en halvö med trädkantade gator perfekt för promenader och cykling. Beh��ver du se solnedgångar? Du kommer att se spektakulära dem här.

2 sovrum på huvudnivån - första uppdaterade sovrummet har 1 Queen och 1 Twin, andra uppdaterade sovrummet har 1 Queen w / TV. Nedre våningen - det tredje sovrummet har 1 Drottning, och fjärde sovrummet har 1 Full. Sofabed på nedre våningen i rymligt vardagsrum m / tv. De som har bott på Splash år efter år kommer bli positivt överraskad med den senaste ombyggnaden på lägre nivå samt uppdateringar genom hela huset! Tvättmaskin torktumlare. Kabel-TV, DVD. WIFI. Massor av böcker att curl upp med & brädspel också. Vedeldad spis i vardagsrummet. Fullt kök med diskmaskin. Stor sjöutsikt från de stora vardagsrumsfönstren! 3 sovrum har utsikt över sjön.

Utanför väntar du på den vackra Long Lake. Några steg ner till sjön från uteplatsområdet. Simning, båtliv och fiske precis utanför din dörr! Dock, förtöjning, båtlyftning (kommer att rymma upp till 17 "båt 3000 kg. Max). Ingen koppling till docka. Badplattform och en roddbåt för lite fiskeglädje ingår (Dock sätts in på sen våren efter att isen bryts upp och tas bort i slutet av september). Ta med din båt och motor till Boones Long Lake Inn på vilken sjö. Trevlig sandy botten sjö för de små. Charcoal grill och picknickbord för uteservering. Brandpit för rostning av marshmallows under stjärnorna. Det v��ntar bara på ditt besök.

En lätt bilresa till alla Traverse City attraktioner, inklusive National Cherry Festival eller Traverse City Film Festival. Ca 30 minuter till sovbjörnen. Gå till Interlochen Arts Academy för en bra konsert. Frog Pond Village är 6. 5 miles away. South Long Lake Forest Natural Area ligger mindre än 5 minuter bort för en vandring i skogen. Tänker du på vinterglädje? Crystal Mountain är cirka 1/2 timme bort för bra utförsåkning.

Ditt välskött husdjur är välkomna. Ingen luftkonditionering. Sängkläder tillhandahålls.

Exactly as described and great stay

This is an oversized 50s cabin right on the water that we stayed at in the dead of winter. It is very charming and includes most of the original features. Everything works, beds are comfy, and we had a great stay!

Fun lakefront vacation get-away!

Quiet lakefront cottage on Long Lake within short driving distance to Traverse City. Plenty of room to spread out, enjoy a bonfire and dine in or explore the local attractions.

Management Company is awesome, this property not so much.

Reviewer Comments: This house is in a great location but with the amount we paid for the week you would think they could afford to update it, and this house needs some serious updating. It is so old and musty. Good thing we were outside the majority of our stay.

Classy Cottage!

I grew up spending my summers at Long Lake at my grandparent's cottage. If you understand what going "up north" used to mean and what a classic cottage was like "back in the day" then this place is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for you It has all the elements of that "retro era" with all the modern day amenities (dishwasher, two full bathrooms--one on each floor, and a washer and dryer! AWESOME! Oh! And there's even a piano.) You have a stunning view of the lake from the entry level and immediate, easy access to a covered patio and deck/fire pit areas as well as a lengthy dock that accommodates both an on-site row boat and an open boat rack. This place is a great family get-away as well as a special girls (or guys for that matter) relaxed retreat. Homey and comfy. Bonus--the lily of the valley that line the driveway were in full bloom and their scent was just heavenly! I'll be returning--this time with my whole family in tow!

Long lake

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for a weekend in January. Location very good although check in at 4pm and out at 10am made for a very short stay. They sent email on Saturday night stating later checkout might be considered in off season if pre-arranged which could not be done at that point. Don't plan to use any dishes morning of checkout because they need to be washed and put away before you go. Fireplace was nice. Summer likely the best time to realize value for the price.

Splash Landing retreat from reality

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Splash Landing was a wonderful retreat. This was the third time my family has been here, and we love it each time. The cottage was very clean , the beds comfortable, the view beautiful. We loved our morning walks, hanging out by the water and having campfires. The only thing missing was a fully functional BBQ, as I had been told there would be a propane grill but instead there was a charcoal grill without any charcoal or lighting fluid, so make sure to bring your own supplies for a cookout. We instead cooked out inside and it was fine! The rowboat was fun to take out but the oars were super squeaky so those just need a little oil or something. Other than those two minor issues, it was a wonderful long weekend away from the hustle and bustle or everyday life. We will definitely be back again! It's out Up North Happy Place, for sure!

Up north Cabin feel on a beautiful lake

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first year staying at Splash Landing although we have stayed at several other houses on Long Lake. Absolutely love Long lake-crystal clear and perfect for swimming or floating. The dock provided good access to the water (although it would be nice if it was wider)The house was as advertised-an up north type cabin which perfectly fit our needs. The house did have a musty smell which decreased once the windows were open to let in the lake breeze. Fans were in every bedroom and there was s dehumidifier in the basement. Warning-the basement ceiling is low so if your tall you will have to duck! The house is well stocked and it's great there is a second refrigerator in the basement making it close access when spending time on the deck or in the water. Plenty of parking and a nice firepit. The grill could definitely be improved. Can't wait to return again next year

Splash Landing second stay

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While we love Long Lake and surrounding area, this was our second summer in this cottage and we found a few concerning issues. The house was very dusty and there was standing water in the lower level upon arrival. We lost power for half of the first day and reported that and water issue, but, never heard back from anyone. The washed out sand in the driveway created a constant mess coming and going into the house. Most troubling was all the erosion on the small lakeside area which exposed dozens of tree roots causing trip hazards as did the broken concrete and washed out edges of patio which led to a visit to Urgent Care.

Worst place we ever stayed

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was so dirty,it smelled so bad we had to go out and buy scented candles to help cover the smell. The furniture was worthy of a bomb fire. The mattress on the bed was so wore out when you sat on the edge of the bed the frame dug into your legs and I only weigh 125.The inside of the cupboards were filthy. The one t.v. did not work as half of the lights in the place were not working. There was a dish washer but no soap to put in it. There was some good hard wood for the fire place but I had to clean out the fire place before I could use it as it was full of old charred wood and ashes. And oh, my the carpets were so dirty and stained I would not take my shoes off. The bath tub would not drain out when we used the shower. We cut our stay short we left a day early because we just could not sleep in that bed another. Any one looking at this property should run. And I seriously wonder why the rental company would even represent this place. We paid top dollar for a real DUMP

Lovely Long Lake property

Great neighborhood, wonderful lake. Location is very convenient to Traverse City and Interlochen. Due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, a massive storm blew through the area and destroyed the dock just before we arrived. So, we were not able to take full advantage of the property. The owner/management company did what they could to address our concerns.

Splash Landing a fabulous cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My 3 other friends and myself have done a girls weekend every summer for many years,we have tried to stay someplace different each time. We had a different cabin booked but at the last minute that cabin was canceled. But with the help of Lindsey at Up North Vacations we were able to get this cabin. Having 4 bedrooms and 2 baths was great for us 4 older gals. The cabin was very clean, well furnished,and super comfortable, we had a great view of the lake and had good enough weather we were able to do a little swimming. The water was crystal clear. There was also many places to explore. We did a little driving around to see the sites, we went to Sleeping Bear Dunes, checked out the town of Empire, and had great ice cream at Moomer's, did some shopping in Traverse City,we also went out to eat at a couple of restaurants, we would love to recommend Long Lake Inn the food was fabulous. We loved our stay and give this cabin a 5+ rating. I would also like to recommend Up North Vacations for your planning on your next vacation.
