Prova några dagar på Cape Cod i höst. Färgerna och solnedgångarna är exceptionella.

Charmigt läge precis tvärs över gatan från Baker's Pond. Huset är rymligt med vackra trägolv i hela och nyinstallerad central luft. Bekvämligheter i hemmet inkluderar kabel-TV i vardagsrummet, Wi-Fi, tvättmaskin på bottenvåningen och torktumlare. Köket har allt: diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn, mixer, brödrost, kaffebryggare och naturligtvis en hummerpot. Du kommer att älska öppenheten mellan frukostrummet och köket.
Du är också välkommen att använda garaget och all grill- och rekreationsutrustning du hittar.
Platsen är idealisk ... en kort 5-minuters promenad till den bortgjutna sandstranden på Baker's Pond. Du kan simma, kajak, kanot eller fiska. Denna damm är fylld med öring och bas med liten mun.
Utforska 'Ancient Way' - bakvägar till Nickerson State Park. Perfekt för ett WALKING äventyr. Det är tillgängligt cirka 2 kvarter / 10-minuters promenad upp på vägen Vägbeskrivning till "Ancient Way" finns i vår gästbok.
Det finns stora vågor på Nauset Beach, en 10-minuters bilresa, där du kan bada, boogie board eller bara gå längs Cape Cod National Seashore.
Skaket Beach, på Cape Cod Bay, ligger bara 5 minuters bilresa bort. Vattnet är varmare än Nauset och vid lågvatten kan du gå ut nästan en mil.
Rock Harbor (gratis parkering) är bara lite förbi Skaket Beach. Ordna en fisketur på en av de många charterbåtarna eller se bara på att de tar med sig sin fångst.
Vi har också listat en favorit fiske kapten i gästboken. Rock Harbor är en annan bra plats att gå ut "på lägenheterna" vid lågvatten. Riktigt roligt för barn! Och missa inte solnedgången på Cape Cod Bay-WOW!

Wonderful Location and House

This is a great house in a beautiful area. We especially enjoyed walking to the pond each morning for a swim. Highly recommended!

The house was wonderful and perfect for our family of four. We felt very at home and it was obvious it is loved and cared for! We have stayed in many different houses on the Cape, and this is one of our favorites so far! There was so much space in the living and dining areas. The bedrooms had ample space and the beds were so comfortable We had everything we needed, and it’s in a great location near many of our favorite places, Nauset Beach, kayKing on Nauset Marsh, Nickerson State Park, biking, Cooke’s Seafood and Bancock Thai to name a few. Central AC and laundry are such perks!Thank you!

Perfect Cape Getaway

We had a wonderful week at this property. The space worked great for our family of four. The house is in a fantastic location, set off from the street and a short walk away from a terrific public pond. The mossy and partially shaded yard was amazing for our two toddlers, and the living room and bedrooms were well balanced and comfortable for the group.

Very Comfortable Home

I do not use the word home lightly. This property feels like home, not a rental. It is in a fairly secluded quiet location but very close to our favorite beaches on both the ocean and bay side. Thank you again for a perfect stay.

Wonderful week at the Hinkle House

We truly enjoyed our week. The house is spacious yet cozy and we had everything we needed. (On our wish list if one is picky though, would perhaps be an outdoor propane grill.) The area is kind of secluded with lots of trees surrounding the house. But the 6 Highway is very close and something you clearly hear when being outside. We really enjoyed Bakers pond, a 2-min walk away, for morning and evening swims. Also Cliff Pond some 25-min walk away through beautiful Nickerson State Park was perfect. The owners where very helpful and answered very fast when we contacted them. Thank you Carol och Guy!

Great Location in a Wooded Setting

The fully furnished home (minus linens) is in a secluded wooded section of Orleans near Bakers Pond. Access to the pond is just down the road, as is the trailhead into the conservation land. Drive a few minutes and you can enjoy the expansive beaches of the Cape Cod National Seashore. The screened breezeway at the house provided a very pleasant seating area with no mosquitoes. If you want to save time, order groceries ahead online at Shaws and choose the convenient and free drive up and go option.

Exactly What We Needed

Our stay at 11 Hinkle Lane was perfectly relaxing and comfortable. The home is spacious and has many of the necessities you would need throughout your stay. A great location for local beaches and activities, and Bakers Pond is just a short walk from the house - for a nice afternoon swim. We are very happy we chose this home.

Family vacation

Perfect Cape Cod Getaway

10 minutes from Skaket Beach and Rock Harbor, this property was perfect for our family of fours summer vacation. A very comfortable house with an endearing history. Lots of space, comfortable beds, well fitted kitchen, and air conditioning! What a difference that makes. A great location, away from the major tourism bustle but close enough to all the interesting places to visit. We highly recommend it and when we go back to the Cape in the future, hope this home is still available. Lifelong memories from a wonderful trip.

I was very pleased with the property. The air conditioning was very much appreciated.

My family and I were very pleased with the property. Although there were only two bedrooms, there was plenty of room for entertaining and privacy. The two full bathrooms were adequate for a family and a few guests. An additional positive feature of the house was the air conditioning. The system worked very well and the week we were there we were very comfortable despite the 90 degree days. The house was located well off the street in a quiet neighborhood thus ensuring privacy.

Cape Cod at it's finest

My wife and I spent our 20th anniversary at this property. The amenities were second to none. The feel was warm and comfortable, very much like home. Impeccably maintained, quiet and clean, the location couldn't be better, minutes from the bay and the ocean, we were in heaven. Baker's Pond, right across the street, was an amazing place to swim and just relax sitting on the beach soaking up the sun and getting to meet some of the locals. The owners were kind enough to give us directions to a little out of the way parking area at Rock Harbor, what amazing sunsets! Sunrises at Nauset beach were well worth getting up for. We enjoyed the proximity to the diverse selection of dining establishments in Orleans. The property owners were so helpful in suggesting areas of interest and some of their favorite restaurants to try, they truly made our stay memorable. Thank you.
