Come enjoy some thing a little extra at Lavish Lilac by the Ocean. This six bedroom five bathroom luxury home that sleeps 20 is the exact spot you need for your next vacation.
Located in the Noisy Waves neighborhood, this property has a beautiful pool and spa and you cannot go wrong. Add to that the amazing views from both decks.
The first level has a roomy family/kitchen and gathering area that has ample seating for everyone to enjoy a meal and a visit with plenty of room to spare. The main king master is on the first level with a beautiful en-suite bathroom. There is also a half bath just off the living room.
Up the beautiful stairway, you will find 5 more bedrooms. A small cozy twin bunk room, a king master en-suite, a bunk room with 2 queen/queen bunks en-suite, a double queen en-suite and another king ensuite.
You can relax and sit on the expansive deck, or have morning coffee on the small deck outside the upstairs king master as you enjoy the beautiful view.
The pool area is great for enjoying and entertaining everyone and cooking on the charcoal grill.

We do not provide cooking oil or seasonings.
Events allowed with prior approval, max guests 30, with a nonrefundable event fee of $600, please contact management for additional information.
Both types of coffee pots are available.
Pre-approved Prom groups are allowed, with 3 parents on site, and a nonrefundable event fee of $600.
Pets allowed, max 2 dogs ONLY, pet fee is $200, may need to be added after booking.
Must be 25 years old to book.

Located across the ferry from Galveston, TX.
Note, property is not child proof.

Great stay!!

Accommodates our group very well. Had issues with outside tv and the host answered promptly with solutions. Overall great experience at a great house.

This location was perfect. The house was incredible and to have a pool to cool down in on site was the difference maker. Would book here again!

Convenient Beachside Retreat with a Few Bumps Along the Way

We stayed here for our annual family vacation and loved many aspects of it. The location is amazing—just a short walk to the beach—and the house is pretty. One of the standout features was the pool under the house. This provided a shaded oasis that was perfect for lounging...once it got cleaned.Unfortunately, there were some issues that put a a damper on the stay. The biggest disappointment was that the "6th bedroom" is a closet with bunk beds. This might work for kids but not for adults, although my grandson wouldn’t sleep in there, as he found it scary.The pool was green/cloudy/sandy when we arrived. The hot tub needed maintenance before it would heat. It took two days to resolve. It was disappointing not to have full use from day one.Amenities were uneven. Kitchen supplies were okay; basics were mostly covered. For the price, we were surprised that standard toiletries weren’t provided (shampoo, etc). There also were no extra blankets and not a lot of towels, especially for a beach rental.The Wi-Fi and TV worked 15% of the time. It didn’t seem to be weather related, just a bad set up/provider. This didn’t ruin our trip, I’m just glad none of us were planning to work while we were there. One quirky surprise: the upstairs remotes for fans and lights controlled *all* the bedrooms at once, which led to some late-night accidental disco moments. Definitely something to be aware of! Overall, we made lots of memories—just be prepared for a few bumps along the way.

Baller Family Beach House

Large family with 16 ppl. Close to beach, very clean, well stocked kitchen pots/pans/utensils, nice layout for families, pool on ground level is covered with plenty of seating, porch on main floor with plenty of seating. Dining table and bar seating was equal to bedroom capacity which is unusual for large families. Owner very responsive to questions or concerns during our stay. WiFi on island is spotty— it is not a problem with the house. TVs in shared spaces were large. We managed to fit 6 suv’s in house driveway area. Short walk to beach! FYI the fan remotes sometimes switch the fans/lights on or off in different rooms but not a big deal, just use the light switches instead (all on same frequencies?) We had a great time and would stay here again!
