Sunset 98, Mariner Cay är idealiskt beläget i sydvästra hörnet av Mariner Cay förening ger gästerna en panoramautsikt över Folly River samt knockout solnedgångar från wrap-around skärmen veranda. Mariner Cay är en gated community av boende och hyresgäster, som erbjuder gästerna inte bara en pool och tennisbanor, men också bara några minuter från stränderna och staden av Folly Beach antingen med bil, golfbil, cykel eller promenader. Privatliv och bristen på trafik är perfekt för små barn och tonåringar att cykla, trike, skateboard eller bara umgås.
Eftersom Sunset 98 är ett hörn, utsikten och ljuset vid inresan är en av dessa "wow" stunder. Med en sydvästra exponering, är helt öppen för Folly floden och kärr, inklusive tillfällig skola marlin kök / matsal / vardagsrum. Nästa "wow" ögonblick kommer vid solnedgången när man måste få sin drink, skynda till balkongen och låta honom / sig vara imponerad.
Som kan ses av bilderna, enheten har en stor, sovrum som vetter mot balkongen; ett tvåbäddsrum utanför bakre balkong och ett sovrum med dubbelsäng i det sydöstra hörnet för dem som bara vill komma bort för en tupplur eller en god bok. Den öppna vardagsrummet finns en nyinstallerad platt HDTV på en vägg pivot, dvs ingen messing av barnen ... DVD ingår också. Dessutom har både befälhavaren och dubbelrum har platt HDTV, och för dem som inte helt kan komma undan, finns trådlöst i hela enheten.

Folly Beach är en sex mil lång barriär ö, och den närmaste stranden till historiska Charleston, South Carolina (15 minuter på Connector) där man kan hitta enastående mat, scenkonst och inbördeskriget historia.

What they promised about sunset was true!

In addition to superb sunsets, the enclosed balcony overlooks a huge expanse of tidal salt-marsh. All day long the tide is either quietly coming in or quietly going out. The view is different every time you look out. It is a terrific way to observe nature.

Beyond relaxing

My daughter and I had a great time at the condo. The condo had everything you could possibly need, including many pots/pans/dishes in the kitchen. The only thing we needed to buy was groceries. We were looking for a relaxing vacation & boy did we get it! Folly Beach was so nice & the view and sunsets from the condo back porch were beautiful! We even saw dolphins from the porch. We will definitely be back.

Folly Beach

We had a lovely stay. The unit is spacious and well equipped with everything you could need. The unit is clean and the owners were great at communicating with us. It is a short walk into Folly Beach, if you do not want to drive. This is our second time staying in this unit and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Location & Amenities

Our stay at Mariners Cay in Folly Beach, SC, was absolutely phenomenal. The views from both inside the unit and on the screened-in wrap-around porch were breathtaking, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing vacation. The condo's location was ideal: close enough to access everything with ease but far enough from the busier, louder areas to maintain a peaceful atmosphere. We drove into Charleston daily for dinner, just a convenient 25-minute drive away. Cru Cafe in Charleston quickly became a favorite, and Edison James Island was an excellent choice for local dining. The pool at Mariners Cay was pristine, with ample seating and clean restrooms nearby, so there was no need to trek back to the condo. The bedrooms were very comfortable, each equipped with a TV, ensuring everyone had their own space to unwind. The entire unit was spotless, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the week. Susan, the property manager, was just a phone call away for any questions or assistance. Although we didn't require any help, she was very responsive and helpful when we had a quick question about gate access. A word of advice for the area: adhere to the speed limits. We saw numerous cars pulled over for speeding, so it's best to drive carefully. We can't wait to rebook this unit and visit Folly Beach again. Our experience at Mariners Cay was truly unforgettable.

Highlight of our summer!

This is the second time we have stayed at the Merrill’s beautiful place and as in the previous year, it did not disappoint. The space is perfect for our small family and the proximity to James Island is ideal. The views also can’t be beat. We will definitely be back again!

Spectacular wraparound porch view

Amazing view of water and wildlife. We saw many dolphins and birds every day. The condo is very spacious and the elevator is a must. You are just minutes to the beach, food, and shopping. And you don’t have to fight all of the Charleston traffic to get to Folly.

Our family had an amazing stay at the condo! The condo was very clean, had everything that we needed, and of course, had gorgeous views. Great location for Folly Beach and Charleston! We absolutely loved our stay and will be back! Highly recommend!

Disappointing and dirty but, great views

While the location and views are great, the unit itself was extremely outdated and needs a serious deep cleaning. The interior of the unit has not been maintained well. The furniture was old and the mattresses were worn out, the flooring needs to be replaced. During our stay, the entry gate to the community was changed but, we were not notified. There was an insufficient supply of toilet paper and paper towels even for a short stay. All of these factors made a place with great potential very disappointing.

Excellent property with fantastic views

We spent a week at here and enjoyed every second of it. The condo was very nicely equipped and maintained, quiet and quite comfortable for my wife and I. Everything went smoothly during our visit and the views from the condo are just fantastic and relaxing. We'll be back !!!

Girl’s weekend

My sisters and I had an amazing stay at this lovely condo. We spent our mornings and evenings out on the screened porch watching the birds and dolphins. What a delight. There was quite a bit of traffic into Folly Beach on the weekends but this unit is within walking distance to everything. Don’t miss breakfast at The Lost Dog cafe. We did a boat tour and saw 15 dolphins. Definitely a highlight of the trip. The condo was the perfect size for our group of 5 women. Will definitely be back!!

That sunset!!!

Loved it! Wish we could go back once a month! The proximity to Folly Beach is perfect, the space between each bedroom was appreciated and the sunsets were unbeatable! We saw dolphins fishing and it was enjoyable to see the tides change the landscape from a low marsh with birds to water at a higher ground! We celebrated Thanksgiving here and only had to buy a big pan for basting the turkey—but they literally had everything else and we made a lot of side dishes! Fully stocked with cooking needs. If you are hot sleepers—be sure to bring light sleep clothes as only one bedroom has a ceiling fan. They have additional fans to plug in—just important to know from one warm sleeper to another. OTHERWISE, it’s PERFECT!

Great Escape!

Had the best stay at Lois’s place. Everything was perfect. Check in was easy. It was just what I needed to relax and get away from “real life” for a few days. Loved the view and really enjoyed the pool. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Tranquility

It was so peaceful to sit on the screened in porch and listen to the waves, and watch the birds and dolphins. The location was perfect. It was close to the busy beach town of Folly and an easy drive to downtown Charleston. Definitely would recommend. Communicating with host/manager was so easy and prompt.

We will be back!

We stayed in a different unit at Mariner's Cay in years past when visiting Folly Beach and while it was a nice space, we never quite felt at home. When we arrived at Lois's unit, we immediately felt welcomed and were in awe of the beautiful view. It was a great layout for myself, husband and our two little kids. We will most definitely be back!

We wanted someplace quiet, yet active, to relax with good restaurants, perhaps a beach, and outstanding culture, cuisine with some history nearby. Hard to find? Yes, but the Charleston Shore at Folly Beach has all of these, as any guest will soon see.
