The space
The house is on a quiet road. The big garden is full of colors and plants of all heights. There are no sidewalks, or street lights and houses are far apart so you don’t hear neighbors or loud traffic. The wide wrap-around deck is a pleasure to use especially in summer. When it’s very warm, various frog species croak in concert. The loft apartment has floor to ceiling windows; a light filled space. Most curtains block out light. Wood floors, new bathroom, separate, private entrance via stairs outside. Lots of closet space. Two portable fans and a/c. TV has fire stick.
Two writing desks, small sitting area and dining table - all in one large open space. The area is quiet, light filled, sunny and safe. Help yourself to mint, chives, oregano, sage and rhubarb in garden. I supply breakfast things: fruit, bread, eggs, milk, butter, coffee, teas, and granola.
Guest access
Park in the gravel driveway (drive up straight part so you can easily back straight out). It’s not a turn around parking. You may back-in too for easy drive out.
From gravel drive, walk up irregular stone steps at the top of the drive. The loft has private entrance up somewhat steep wooden stairs from deck any part of which you may use.
Other things to note
The top floor loft is not ADA compliant, but is accessed by wooden staircase to large, open space, with hard wood floors, rugs, long closet and windows on all four sides (most are floor to ceiling) - very sunny, surrounded by trees. Window have curtains - 2 of the 3 keep out light. Keep these closed in summer to keep out the sun and heat. Good restaurants, various trails for hikes/biking nearby and breweries.
