Kitchen was Great! Place and amenities were pretty much exactly like what was stated in the website listing. Very nice pool area. Parking spots in sand was not the greatest, you were always tracking in sand. Would have been nice to have had a sweeper. Overall a great place to stay! Thank you!

Some damage to blinds. Master shower head needs to be replaced. Kitchen items need replaced/updated as well. Picnic table outside was not there as shown in image. AC ran the entire time, might need to be looked at.

Family trip

We had a wonderful stay at the property. We came from MN to visit family in Port A. The ping pong table was a hit, hosting a tournament on the cold/windy days. Location was nice and convenient for everything. Loved the space, would definitely stay here again.

Property was not as expected in listing photos. Small, out dated, not clean, missing picnic table, broken sliding door, ceiling leaking water and the whole house floor was sanding. Pool area was not safe. No lights at pool area.

We're sorry the home fell short of what you expected from the listing. Since your stay, the sliding door has been repaired, a new picnic table has been placed at the home, and the source of the water concern you noted has been identified and resolved. The pool area's lighting is managed by the community association, and we've formally passed your safety feedback to them, while your notes on the home's cleaning and overall presentation have been shared with the team responsible for the home and the listing's photos are being reviewed for accuracy. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention.

Very clean, nice & cute! Cool Beech vibe decor. In good neighborhood close to the beach. Maybe 5-8 min walk. Shorter cart ride. Communication with management was nice. They checked on us through messaging during our stay. Would definitely stay there again.

It honestly was a great little place. It fit our needs well except for the parking situation. The parking was a pain, because whoever was parked first in tandem style had to wait for the other vehicle to move and it was just inconvenient. The only other issue was the dog hair. Which it was a pet friendly place, but I don’t want someone else’s pet hair all over the couch. Other than the inconvenience of the parking and the previous occupants pet hair, it was a cute place to stay. I appreciated Avantstay’s communication and recommendations of nearby businesses. I would stay at another hosted house by them. Probably not pet friendly and with better parking options.

Nice would recommend

The property is very nice and safe. It was clean and close to beach. It was nice to have room to spread out. Probably come prepared with food or go get groceries as there really isn’t much for great food on Port Aransas island, but luckily the rental has all cooking tools needed. Only thing I would suggest is upgrading some of the living room furniture and due to high humidity in the area, caulk in bathrooms should be redo more often. Also I felt like we had everything we needed except a broom or vacuum which would be nice with all the SAND! But over all I would rate it a 10/10
