Ägarna har nyligen uppgraderat (sommaren 2014) alla möbler i hela lĂ€genheten för att inkludera en stor sectional soffa, matbord och stolar, sĂ€ngeuro stil sĂ€ng, moderna sĂ€ngklĂ€der i bĂ„da sovrummen och ny fĂ€rg. Det finns en stor platt-TV med DVD-spelare i vardagsrummet tillsammans med en mysig gas spis.

Det stora sovrummet har en tillhörande privat badrum, kung sÀng och platt-TV. Det andra sovrummet har en vÄningssÀng med en extra lÄng tvilling pÄ toppen, drottning pÄ botten och dubbla rulla under, Àven med en platt-TV. Hela köket har alla köksredskap du behöver och de Matsalen rymmer upp till 6 personer. Det Àr verkligen ingen bÀttre plats Àn Sunstone nÀr det gÀller bekvÀmligheten med skidÄkning / ridning. Alla Mammoth Sierra gÀster fÄr gratis full tillgÄng till Snowcreek Athletic Club för att njuta av faciliteter, inklusive uppvÀrmd inomhuspool, Ängbastu, komplett gym, yoga, pilates och cykelstudio med mera.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Sunstone several times, it is still the best location (if there is snow). The kitchen seems newly remodeled :), however, some cookwares are too old to cook easily. You might want to bring your own cooking pans, so at least you can make the scramble eggs without buring.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit is very nice, but beware that none of the TV’s worked and the rental company did not address, after three calls to them. There does. It appear to be conventional TV service at all and all TV’s were logged out of any other service and locked. If you are not interested in TV service, then the unit is fine, but if you are snowed in, or otherwise want TV service, you may want to select another unit

September 2 week stay at Sunstone

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the unit was nice, but there were some issues we noted.1. It did not have a cutting board for carving food. I had to use a flat metal grilling plate which is not ideal.2. Needs more spoons.3. Wifi was awful. Apparently the modems are in the hallway. We had to go to the main lobby on the first floor to get reliable internet.4. TV should have instructions since it was not hooked up to conventional cable. Took a while to figure out.5. Oven stopped working, but the stove top worked.6. Coffee pot was very small (5 cups). You could not pull out the carafe while brewing without the coffee pouring out. Coffee makers are inexpensive, get a better one for your guests, preferably 10-12 cups with auto turnoff. I mention these things because we have a rental condo in HI. We go out of our way to make sure our condo is well stocked so our guests have all the amenites they need to make their stay as pleasant as possibe. This unit seemed to lack that.

Ski In and Out, But Accommodations Lacking

Location was ideal; however, the unit is in need of a serious makeover and work. Original countertops, bathroom, and furniture. Bathroom toilet was blackened and showers were outdated. We felt dirty after taking a showers. Internet service was dismal (reminded me of analog days) and trying to watch simple television was impossible. I know that it was Easter weekend, but to charge so much for such weathered accommodations was not worth the price of admission.

Disappointing stay, over priced and decreased quality

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ve stayed at Sunstone several times and this was the worst experience I’ve had. For the premium price attached to this building, I’d like to assume we would have a premium stay. This wasn’t the case and I won’t stay in this unit again. For the price, I’ll book elsewhere. The condo was dirty upon arrival. It smelled horrible like a locker room, the carpets were filthy (not just stained which is expected, but clearly not vacuumed,) there were used towels in the bathroom and almost all the counter tops hadn’t been wiped down. It was tremendously dusty and both my child and I got head colds a day into our stay from the dirt/dust.Additionally, the internet and television did not function for the majority of our stay. We called the manager to ask for help, as we needed functioning wifi for our baby monitor, and they offered little to no help. They also provided a contact number for the Internet provider who shared that they do not service Sunstone and haven’t for many years. Furthermore, management attempted to justify the non functioning services by citing a non existent clause in the rental agreement. They said the internet is clearly stated to be “spotty.” That language is nowhere in the fine print. Being lied to when asking for help is **** customer service. Also, if the internet is known to be “spotty,” why isn’t it in the unit listing but supposedly hidden in the fine print? This is shady and wrong. Lying to customers should result in a refund.I’ve rented from this company dozens of times and was quite shocked and disappointed by this experience. Just because the snow is great doesn’t mean the rental experience should diminish. If this is how the Sunstone building is being managed, I won’t stay here again.

Overall very clean and quiet. We missed having a TV in the master bedroom. Also would've loved to have had an iron as well as kitchen scissors. We would defintiely stay here again, great location!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved the ski in/ski out location. The condo was much more like a hotel room and we were expecting more of a condo. The kitchen did not have any non-stick pans or any spatulas. We had to buy our own pan & spatulas from Vons. The kitchen was stocked with salt and pepper only. In other condos we've rented, they typically have many spices to choose from as well as olive oil or any cooking basics. We would rent a larger unit next time that has a "stocked" kitchen.

Convenient mountain-side retreat

The unit has two bedrooms which is nice when traveling with the family. The outside deck provided fresh air and a nice place to relax with coffee. The outside area pool and lodge are nice as well. The unit itself is a little outdated and the apartment style was a little claustrophobic. Hot in the summer!

Great Location. Internet Awful

Great ski-in-ski-out location - no issues there. Fridge wasn't working but they replaced it next day so we appreciated the service call. Would give it a higher review but for one major issue. The Wifi/Internet service is abysmal. Want to bring your family here and have your kids Zoom in to school? Good luck. Want to watch a Netflix movie in the evening? Not going to happen. The guest internet speeds go from 2-3Mbps (maximum) down to below 100Kbps and it drops connections all the time at night. These are 2001 speeds, not 2021. Called into guest services and was told that they could not do anything about it - it just gets busy during peak times. No ability to even pay for an upgrade to a higher speed service. Not a problem with our room location because we got full signal on wifi. Just incredibly limited/throttled which really disappointing when for a condo in this price range. Hopefully, they read this review and fix it - should never go below 10Mbps.

Lovely and cozy unit

Beautiful, cozy and such lovely decorated unit! We really enjoyed the accommodations! The management co has been very responsive when the refrigerator did not work. They sent someone immediately, unfortunately they have to replace a part and since we were there on the weekend that could not be done right away. Nevertheless, we would stay there again. The views, the location, the unit were all perfect for what we needed!

Too small and too hot

The television in our unit did not work and though we called several times, it was not fixed until day 4 of our 5 days. The unit is very small and cramped and if you turn the fireplace on, it gets so hot it's uncomfortable.
