Cozy Family Cabin

We spent an amazing weekend here! Kids loved it so much they would've rather stayed in the cabin! Enough space for us all including our dog. Close to all the fun activities to enjoy here in Big Bear!

Perfect getaway

We had a fantastic weekend at this cabin. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The downstairs game room was so fun for my kids. The rooms had plenty of blankets and space heaters. The kitchen was easy to cook in and had everything we needed.

Big Bear getaway

We had a great time, loved the layout of the cabin. Lots of room, great downstairs game room. Kitchen was well supplied with the cooking appliances and pans etc that we need. We really enjoyed staying in this cabin. Location to Bear Mountain to ski is fabulous! 3 levels gave everyone plenty of space to spread out and have fun !

get-a-way after the holidays

this is our first time renting a cabin in Big Bear and we couldn't have chosen a more perfect place. The cabin is fully stocked and very comfy, the location is perfect. We had teenagers and the downstairs room was ideal for them. We wish we stayed longer.

Great location to Bear mountain., thoughtful owners

We stayed here with my family of 3 girls 8 and under and my parents. There was plenty of room, the directions to all of the media was extensive and the location was excellent. I texted the owners with some questions and the responded immediately. They even had some nice snacks upon entry. This is a great place to stay.

Hugs for Bear Hug Cabin

Very nice place to stay! We especially enjoyed the view of the trees and mountains from the back deck, and listening to the birds. The only thing that would make it better, was if the front and back decks were swept clean before our arrival. I did it myself.

Better than expected!

Spacious & cozy with just enough rustic-ness. The game room was a huge hit where we spent most of the cold evenings. Also loved the wine & chocolates gift. Can't wait to go back!!

Dirty and Disgusting

Upon arrival the property looked nice at first glance . Untill we went to go to bed the comforters were covered in pet hair theres were burn marks on blankets "white stains" on pillows . Brown smear marks on blankets crusty stains . Tissues stuck in the cracks of walls. There was even bugs crawling across one of the beds . Spider webs across ceiling in stairway leading to game room . And when i tried to reach out to the property manager linda she said she is not the property manager and i need to contact the owner. I tried to reach her but she never responded. The only option i was given was to have a cleaner come the next day to clean , and if i didnt like that option there is a hotel down the street they should have vacancy. My family ended up sleeping on the couch and recliner the first night . The cleaners didn't end up bringing new blankets and sheets untill 245 pm the next day and they didnt even clean the house as i requested. And then even after they supposedly cleaned and changed our linen there was a beer bottle cap in my son's bed roll . I tried to reach out for some sort of compensation but ive been ignored . I would not book this place .

Loved This Cabin

We stayed in this cabin in February 2012 and really loved it. It is very clean and well maintained, and parts of the house seem very new (recent remodel?). The location is great since it is just a few minutes from Snow Summit and Bear Mountain Ski Resorts and also Vons/Stater Brothers markets, plus The Village is just a few miles away. The house has a nice, large driveway for 4 cars, which seems hard to find in Big Bear. It has three levels - the basement has a comfy sectional and a foosball table, bumper pool, fireplace, TV and bar, which we really enjoyed. The entry level has the master bedroom which is located away from the living area, and although it was a little small, I consider it quaint and really all we needed for the couple nights we were there, plus the bed was comfortable. The bathroom on the entry level is newly remodeled and very nice. The livingroom is very spacious and the huge windows were lovely to watch the snow fall. The deck off the livingroom/dining room is very large and would be great for summer BBQs. The kitchen is very spacious and had everything we needed, including cute red appliances (toaster, coffeemaker, microwave). We loved the large dining space. The upstairs had two large bedrooms (larger than the master) which were great for our kids. They loved the bunkbeds (double mattress on bottom bunk, twin on top). The second bathroom is not pictured on the website, but it too seems newly remodeled and is very nice. The property manager was VERY responsive - the downstairs toilet backed up after the first use and maintenance came to the house right away to fix it, so it was all taken care of for us. (We learned a paper towel was the problem, so not sure if the prior tenant or cleanup crew accidentally threw it in the toilet.) We would definitely rent this home again.

Fabulous Family Home

Delightful home base to explore Big Bear! Home is in a quiet, friendly neighborhood and walking distance to zoo. Our kids loved the game room and chess board. The kitchen is large and well stocked with everything you need to make family meals. The hot tub was wonderful in the cool evenings to relax after our busy days. We would stay here again!

A nice mountain retreat

The property was as described. The location is close to zoo and Bear Mountain but the village is a drive away. We enjoyed our stay and would consider again.

Great cabin and location!

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin has a perfect layout for our family. We had a couple of minor glitches when we arrived, however, the host corrected them immeidately. We would stay again if we visited Big Bear Lake again. Loved our stay!

Cozy and cute

This property is just perfect. We love the Moonridge neighborhood, and had a nice time riding our e-bikes around. The cabin is adorable and comfortable. I love all the little bears everywhere. It’s decorated so cute. The deck under the trees is lovely to sit and relax. ❀

Our family had a great time at the cabin! Lots of space for the eight of us, and it was very cozy! Very cute decor and fun game room on the bottom floor. We were close to the zoo, shops, lake and the village. Was a perfect place for our mini vacation!

Cozy Fun Cabin

Stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute. The house was clean and comfortable. The basement game room was great. The kitchen had everything you need and the grill was perfect for our dinners. We walked to the zoo and its just a few minutes ride to the village. Highly recommend!

Bear Hug Cabin

The house was cozy yet large enough accommodate or family of 8. Kids loved the bunk beds and Grandma and Grandpa got to sleep downstairs! The owners and property manager were easy to communicate with and check in and out was a breeze. Would highly recommend!
