Had a blast made great memories with the family loved everything the cabin the scenery the fresh air. Snow tubing, the zoo, lots of great places to eat and the gift shops we'll definitely take another trip to big bear again soon

Great property overall. Was a nice place to stay for 6 and a dog. Great accessibility for 3 generations of family staying together. Very minor things you might expect (measuring cups, keurig, tissues) could make the stay even better, but overall a great property on a good location. It's a nice 20 minute walk into the main strip in town to find restaurants and shopping, or a short drive. The fenced in yard was great for allowing dogs outside. We would stay here again.

Great cabin for families, plenty of fun activities and games provided. Very clean. My only negative complaint is the cooking pans need to be larger, small pans provided had to cut bacon in half for breakfast for it to fit in the skillet there’s a griddle on the propane grill that would be ideal, did not realize until later but hey. We had a blast

Loved it!

our stay was awesome, the place is very cozy and very clean. The lake and activities were close by. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. Overall we enjoyed staying at Camp Conklin.

Great place for family and pets!

This was a perfect place for our family vacation of 3 generations! It was very clean and had a game room, outdoor balcony with barbecue grill and firepit. The location was close to the village. The communication was great and check-in process easy. I would definitely recommend this place!

Convenient and Comfortable

Nice place for two couples to base themselves for Octoberfest. We didn't stay long enough to take full advantage of some of the extras like the games and theater, but they were nice to have!

Great getaway

Got this cabin for a family trip to big bear, beautiful 3 story cabin. Had a great time. Playing pool. Hanging out, Watching the stars. And its close to a lot of stores and food in the area about a 5 min drive. Would stay again any time.

Perfect family getaway

We spent a wonderful weekend at Camp Conklin. The cabin was absolutely immaculate and adorable. We enjoyed hosting a family dinner with our children and their spouses on the balcony where we soaked in the beauty of the Big Bear forest. The game room was a big hit as well. Highly recommend this property for those seeking a welcoming, warm and cozy getaway.

Fun game cabin

We were celebrating two different family birthdays. Had lots of fun playing pool and the ring hook game. Bigger than expected inside and downstairs! Lots of hang out places

Awesome time here in this cabin. Beautiful home. Really great area, safe and quiet. Host always replied within minutes. Some TV remotes were missing and they right away send people to replace them and program them. Location within minutes to go anywhere.

Our stay at Camp Conklin

House was okay, but too many stairs for those of us in our 70’s. Building has been upgraded inside nicely. Dishwasher didn’t work. No linens provided for hide-a-bed.

Hello Joe, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. The homeowners did put a lot of work into the home, but the 3 levels can definitely be a workout. We do have one-story properties available and our agents would be more than happy to help you search for those. We apologize that you had issues with the dishwasher. You reported it the day of your check out and that same day we sent a tech. The tech reported back that it was working but you have to double check that it latches properly if not it won't start. Can't wait to come back!!

I've been coming up to Big Bear for over 30 years since I was a kid. Our family has had two different cabins up there in the past. I have been renting the last few years whenever I visit. This is one of our favorite places. Really nice cabin with modern touches. Great game room theater. Huge deck which was so fun Barbecuing on every night surrounded by trees. Big fenced backyard completely stocked kitchen. This could be our new spot for summer and winter trips. Having said that, none of the outlets worked in the back room that leads into the deck. Could have been user error though.

We had a great time and the accommodations were excellent. Being so close to downtown big Bear was a plus as well as the local hiking trails. A great experience overall and Camp Conklin delivered!!

Underwhelmed

Great Location, close to downtown, quiet neighborhood. The staff of property management company were very nice and professional. Property was so so, broken shower door that didn't close. Someone had a posted a note so they knew it wasn't working. Bring your own body soap and spices as they are not provided. Toilet paper and towels are minimal and you will need more. Prepare to take your own trash to the city dump. Not the place for a relaxing get away.
