Beach location

We loved this studio home. The proximity to the beach is amazing. The property had everything we needed from a full kitchen to beach chairs and bikes. We loved biking to the beach.

Perfect for a solo trip

I had an amazing solo stay at Judy’s casita! The location was perfect—everything I needed was within walking distance, from coffee and lunch at Mercato to shopping and dinner. The beach was close, and I was able to make use of the provided beach accessories. Although it was a busy time of year with some crazy drivers, I opted not to use the bikes provided. Judy was a fantastic host, and we even got to share lunch one day, which was a lovely touch. The casita itself was spotless and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

Excellent host and great little Place!!

Judy was an awesome host! Made our stay very easy and wonderful! Rode the bikes to the beach and also there was a small cooler we could pack our lunch in. Worked great for me and my wife’s needs while in Naples.

BIKE TO THE BEACH!

Perfect accommodations for 2. The Casita had everything we needed and one of the best parts was having bikes to ride the short distance to the beach so we didn’t have to deal with parking a car and one of the bikes had a cart that we could tow all of our beach supplies, The location was great as grocery stores, coffee shops, and everything else. Judy was very helpful and accommodating. The neighborhood was lovely, quiet, and safe.

Cozy and Convenient

My husband and I used this cottage as a satellite location as we needed additional sleeping accommodations. It was perfect for what we needed- close and convenient- we enjoyed walks to the beach most mornings. The hosts were gracious and communication was easy.

Nice place- Great people

Everything was as described and more. Doug and Judy knew our flight was coming in early and called my cell to let me know the place had been cleaned so we could check in. There were beach chairs, umbrella and cooler with ice packs which were very handy. Kitchen had all that was needed if you choose to cook. The shower pressure was great. We really liked having the beautifully landscaped yard to ourselves and enjoyed sitting out in the mornings and evenings. Our last evening a heavy storm came through and Judy called to let us know there were not guests coming in for a few days if our flight was delayed and we needed to stay an extra night.

A Wonderful Experience.

Stayed here for 2 - 1/2 weeks, had a wonderful time. Very convenient location, everything you need is close by. US 41 is the main road and it was busy. The rental unit is in the back yard, our friend called it an “Unattached Villa”. It is small but more space is provided with folding up the Murphy bed. Outside in front of the unit is a patio with furniture which we used often. The shower gets an A++ rating. From a water pressure and flow rate standpoint it is the best shower I have ever been in. Undoubtedly, the biggest positive for this unit are the owners, Doug and Judy. What a sweet, sweet couple! They are readily available and whenever we saw Doug he always asked if we needed anything. We got along so well that we went to lunch together at Buzz’s Lighthouse. We highly recommend renting this unit.

Well appointed tiny backyard cabin. Immaculate spot, very private, pretty backyard. If you like a strong shower, you'll love this one! I have family in the area, this is now my go-to spot! Wish I had found it years ago. The owners are there in the main house and easy to find them if you have any needs. I didn't have any needs, it was all perfect! Thank you!

A little slice of heaven didn’t disappoint

Doug and Judy were great hosts. We stayed for a week and normally under those circumstances we end up needing to purchase things like toliet paper and paper towels but we were provided with more than enough of those type of toiletries and plenty of towels. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. Thanks again for a great time.

Another great stay with Doug and Judy

This was our third time staying at Doug and Judy's darling little cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed our time once again. The cottage is ideally located near the Mercato and other shops and restaurants and very convenient with parking and kitchenette. We were sad to have the red tide during our time in Florida, but otherwise we had a marvelous visit.

La casita

Jolie petite maison d'une propreté impeccable, située dans la cour arriÚre des propriétaires, bien équipée en ustensiles de cuisine, papiers de toutes sortes ( hygiéniques, essuis tout, papiers mouchoirs) savons, shampoing en abondance, tout cela démontre la générosité des propriétaires. Ceux-ci sont accueillants et toujours disponibles pour nous venir en aide. La plage est accessible à vélo ou en auto, trop loin pour la marche. Nous recommandons fortement cet endroit conçu pour 2 personnes qui désirent vivre des moments de tranquilité à l'ombre des palmiers. Intimité garantie.

Beautiful Peaceful Place to Stay!

The hosts Doug and Judy were wonderful. The guest house was fully equipped, clean and comfortable. The patio and yard were beautifully landscaped with flowers and palm trees. The location was great for restaurants and the beach was close. Bicycles were available for use, as well as coolers, beach chairs etc. Highly recommended!!

Lovely Time in the Winter Sunshine

We enjoyed our time in North Naples at Doug and Judy's Cottage/Casita! It was extremely clean and had everything that we needed. We spent time on the patio and had breakfast there almost every morning. There was shopping galore with everything you need within a mile including the beach. Doug and Judy were so nice and the perfect hosts!

A great experience! Reviews are accurate!

Doug and Judy are welcoming and friendly, I highly recommend renting from them!! Their “casita” (mini house/cottage) was just what we needed for the two of us. It's conveniently located about 1.5 miles from Vanderbilt beach and we enjoyed an evening at the Mercato! Having the Casita located in North Naples was great because we have relatives in Bonita Springs. The Casita is private and in a quiet area. It's kept very clean!! Doug and Judy’s yard is well maintained which provides a nice view for the outside sitting area. The extras with the bicycles, beach chairs, and even a small cooler were great. We look forward to the opportunity to rent from them again and recommend others to do so as well!

Doug and I have decided to retire in sunny Naples. We moved here September 2011 and have been working on our little oasis. I was a Vice-President of Personal Lines in a very large Insurance Agency and Doug worked with recovering alcoholics and drug addicts in Connecticut. We both had stressful jobs so we decided it was time to retire. So here we are in beautiful Naples.

Why not be on the beautiful Gulf Coast. Ideal location located 30-45 minutes from Marco, Sanibel Island, and the Fort Myers Airport. If you don't have a vehicle Taxi's and Uber run 24 hours a day.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Mercado shopping is within walking where you will find several restaurants, upscale movie theaters, shopping, whole foods. BEST of all we are blocks to Vanderbilt beach and the public beach. Whatever denomination you are we have the Church in NAPLES. WE ALSO PROVIDE A PASS TO DELANOR WIGGINS STATE PARK AND GET YOU INTO MOST OTHERS.
