Denna söta lilla huset har en öppen planlösning med ett sovloft och vacker utsikt tittar sydväst över Cayuga Lake. Däck på två sidor av huset leder till en "flykt" av fyra däck nedanför huset. Köket har ett litet kylskåp, induktions brännare, liten ugn, mikrovågsugn, brödrost, mixer, kaffebryggare, och massor av köksredskap och porslin. Badrummet har en klo-fots tub. På däck, en gasgrill och massor av stolar och picknickbord för avkoppling och underhållande.

Perfekt för två, men kan sova 05:56: drottning madrass i loft, utfällbar bäddsoffa, soffa, och camping i tält på däck under stora skuggande träd eller på dubbel madrass i båthuset.

Inte handikappad: 28 mjuka stentrappan från vägen ner till huset, 3 till 6 steg mellan däcken, branta trappor ner till bryggan, båthus och stenstrand, och i huset, ett bibliotek stege upp till den sovande loft.

Great weekend getaway

Second year visiting this lovely timber frame cabin. We had Nancy's cell number to ask questions. We were hiking first two days to see waterfalls and on last day weather was windy and cool, so not conducive to kayaking, so we were able to scavenge the beach for "lake" glass and heart-shaped stones. Nancy said we could stay past the check-out time and we took her up on that offer, leaving late afternoon. We will definitely be back next year.

Perfect little cabin on the lake

Cozy and quaint little cabin right on the lake. Had everything we wanted, beautiful sunsets of the boat house porch, many great wineries near by and beautiful nights with a campfire. Cabin was wonderful and everything we wished for..

Sweet & Cozy

Loved this adorable cabin. It was the perfect cozy long weekend. There were plenty of utensils to cook with, cozy spots to read and journal, a comfy bed and beautiful outdoor space. I certainly enjoyed the claw foot bathtub. Nancy was so wonderful! She let me know when the cabin was ready for me and even let me stay a bit longer as a treat. What a special trip!

Always beautiful lakefront cabin

This was our second time staying in this beautiful cabin. It's rustic and special, offering beautiful views and the tranquility of lakeside life. Short drives to Ithaca for groceries, sleepy mornings on the porch with coffee, and winery outings. We always want to come back! Plus, Nancy communicated wonderfully with us and really made us feel welcome.

A cozy cottage...with a lake view

My host, Nancy, was very responsive and accommodating for my 3 nite stay on Cayuga lake. She provided me with local information about travel, grocery stores & restaurants, which made me right at home. It was a perfect place to stay while I volunteered at Long Point winery, in Aurora, for the week.

Sweet Lakeside Cabin

We fell in love with this charming cozy cabin, its perch above the lake, its location in a quiet dead end street only 20 minutes from Ithica to the south and Aurora 20 minutes to the north. Very clean, rustic in the sense of casual but not in the sense of lack of amenities.

Charming Lake Cabin

We just had another wonderful vacation at Nancy’s lake Cayuga cabin. The water was beautiful and we enjoyed hiking at Treman park and dinners out in Ithaca and Lansing. Nancy is an attentive host and the cabin is charming and well cared for.

Cutest bungalow ever!

My sister slept on the comfy pull out couch and my teenage daughter and I took the full size loft bed. With the cool lake breeze and the sound of waves lapping on the shore we slept like babes! Nancy and Rick were terrific hosts and have appointed the cabin with everything you need. The lake is stunning and we took out the kayaks every day, as well as fished, swam, and walked the abandoned train tracks. We will definitely be back to this magical, relaxing and rejuvenating place!

Adorable timber frame cottage

We came up for a quick get away. The cottage and property is so adorable. We had a restful stay and visited the spa at Inn at Aurora for my birthday. Nancy reached out to see if we needed anything. She had a bouquet of beautiful wildflowers for my birthday. You can see the hosts really love their cottage. We will be back.

Charming Cabin With Great View

The timber-frame cabin had everything we needed and more. The host was very helpful. The view of lake Cayuga was framed by magnificent trees. The way the lot was landscaped was very clever, with various levels down to the lake, dock, and boat house. Beautiful countryside and waterfalls to visit.

Vacation at the cabin on Lake Cayuga

Everything in the property description was 100% accurate. Very quiet and quaint, perfect for my wife and I. Loved sitting on the dock in the evening and watching the sunset. Communication with the owner was quick and helpful. Would definitely recommend!!

Great cabin on the lake

My husband and I enjoyed our stay ! We loved the peaceful area and the great view of the lake. Also, being close to the parks/waterfalls that we wanted to see, was definitely a plus ! Nancy is very accommodating with a lot of suggestions if you heed them !

Perfect tiny house on lake

We were in awe of the reclaimed building materials. Perfect weekend to get away with spouse & dog and located within 20 minutes to see the waterfalls. We enjoyed kayaking on ckeckout day because we werent required to leave at a specific time. We plan to come back again.

Wonderful Ithaca weekend

This place was ADORABLE and so close to Ithaca. The nights were blissfully quiet - if you don’t count the waves from the lake that lulled us to sleep. The road was great for walking our little dog and we enjoyed seeing all the deer around the neighborhood. My only feedback was the shower. While my husband and I are pretty low maintenance and can make do without much, we arrived late with the hope of a nice hot shower after a long drive, but that wasn’t the case. It IS a camp so we weren’t expecting anything fancy, but a little forewarning would have been appreciated. Regardless, we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Another wonderful experience!

Sweet Cottage

Labor Day (week) Getaway

This cabin was the perfect place to unwind for the holiday week. Secluded, but not isolated, we felt like we had our own cabin in the woods without being too far away from restaurants and activities like hiking. We even went out on the water in the kayaks. The amenities are also great - good wifi, fridge, and all the things one would need for a weekend retreat. The cabin has a wonderful feel, and our host was super responsive and even provided recommendations for activities. I would highly recommend this cabin for a visit to the Finger Lakes.

Rick and Nancy Lazarus live south of Ithaca and love Cayuga Lake and the sunsets from its east shore. This is our summer lake house, a quiet retreat.

The lake access and views are great, plus Bill George Road is a quiet and wooded road great for walking and bike riding. There are some houses on the lake side and a couple of small gorges. Great blue herons fly up and down the lake every day. Owls hoot at night. Rick is a timber frame barn restorer and he built this charming little house about 10 years ago.
