Antelope Loft: Cabins @ Creekside #6

Cabins@Creekside are on a beautiful mountain meadow with Spring Creek running along the property. Ponderosa Place offers two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, livingroom area with a sofa sleeper, & children's loft area, along with 2 full bathrooms, full kitchen, private deck, & BBQ grill. Sleeps 6-8 with the loft area. Many of the major attractions in the Black Hills, including Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, and Custer State Park are less than 15 miles from this location making it a perfect place to base out of. Dairy Twist, a locals favorite diner, is also on the property providing you with great options for lunch and dinner along with ice cream! These are all family owned/operated businesses with 3 generations working to make it happen. We also have ATV/UTV rentals available as an option through our other business, Black Hills Wilderness Edge Adventures. Don't just see the Black Hills, experience them. Come see why we've been blessed to call the Black Hills home & want to share it with you!

Great accommodations

We brought our granddaughters to South Dakota for vacation. This property was great for us! It was nice to have a playground area and also a creek to enjoy! It was also close to everything we wanted to see and do! We highly recommend this property!

Family vacation in the Black Hills

Clean property. Had everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable beds were great after a day full of adventures. Kids loved the loft and it was nice to have the Dairy Twist on site for food or treats.

Cute Cabin + Nice & Relaxing Property

We stayed in Cabin 6 for a few nights while in South Dakota, and it was perfect for our family of 4! This cabin had everything we needed to have a comfortable and relaxing stay. The grounds are beautiful and there are activities for kids! Bonus: Dairy Twist is right next door so you can get some ice cream, quick and easy!

We were surprised how small the cabin was. Certainly would be tight with 6. Bring a sharp knife if you plan on cooking. A tea kettle and smaller glasses for wine or mixed drink would be helpful.

WONDERFUL LITTLE CABIN!

My family and I loved our stay! We had 3 adults and 4 kids. The loft was great for the 3 younger kids (ages 8,12, and 15). It is near a lot of fun shopping in downtown Hill City. It is centrally located to many attractions like Mount Rushmore, Keystone, and Custer State Park. The Dairy Twist has by far the BEST hamburgers, onion rings, and ice cream!!! We would recommend this beautiful cabin/ resort for anyone wanting a quiet, peaceful, and relaxing vacation !

Perfect Location and Size

This cabin was in the perfect location for our vacation to the Black Hills. We were able to see Spearfish, Deadwood, Rapid City, Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Keystone, and Custer State Park all with in an hour or less driving to each location. We are a family of 4 and the cabin was a good size. The loft was a little smaller than expected, but it worked just fine for our 17 year old son. It was nice having 2 bathrooms! The property is right behind Dairy Twist (like a Dairy Queen only better!) which was really handy. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved the cabins!

The cabins are amazing. The surrounding area with the beautiful landscape and stream right by the cabins, make this a magical place. We only booked for one night on our way back from Yellowstone and wish we would have stayed longer.

Beautiful, Convenient and Fun

The cabin was cute and cozy. Yet efficient and roomy. One of the cleanest ans comfortable cabins I've stayed in. Management was easy to get ahold of and friendly and accommodating. The view was amazing. Will definitely be back

Absolutely beautiful property. Close to everything and exactly, if not better than advertised. Clean and well stocked cabin. Setting and view was amazing, and even though we did not take advantage of the other amenities they offer on this trip, we will partake the next time. Great Location!

We had a group of 4 adults and 4 children ages 7, 4. 3. Infant. The master bedroom was large enough for a portable crib and it also had a nice big bathroom. The bathroom in the main area is small and very difficult for an adult to shower, although we made it work since the baby was sleeping in the room with the larger attached bath. The sleeping loft was a hit with the other 3 kids. They were excited to get back to the cabin in the evenings after our busy days site seeing. We loved the location, it was minutes from many of our favorite activities in the Hills. The doorways are narrow which can be awkward for larger guests. The beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay.

Great family cabin

This was as described and a great little cabin for our family. The 2 bathrooms and kids loft space helped us spread out and not feel crammed. Kids loved the loft! As other people stated, plan for limited/no reception so internet was non-existent. Kids loved the family fun zone, my only complaint was parents were also charged $8 just to sit in there and keep an eye on kids (didn’t play golf). Would definitely stay again!
