Cabins@Creekside are on a beautiful mountain meadow with Spring Creek running along the property. Ponderosa Place offers two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, livingroom area with a sofa sleeper, & children's loft area, along with 2 full bathrooms, full kitchen, private deck, & BBQ grill. Sleeps 6-8 with the loft area. Many of the major attractions in the Black Hills, including Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, and Custer State Park are less than 15 miles from this location making it a perfect place to base out of. Dairy Twist, a locals favorite diner, is also on the property providing you with great options for lunch and dinner along with ice cream! These are all family owned/operated businesses with 3 generations working to make it happen. We also have ATV/UTV rentals available as an option through our other business, Black Hills Wilderness Edge Adventures. Don't just see the Black Hills, experience them. Come see why we've been blessed to call the Black Hills home & want to share it with you!

Great vacation, South Dakota

Ponderosa cabin #4, was exactly as advertised. The cabin was clean and everything we needed to make our stay was there. This vacation was in our top 5 of all our vacations we have taken.

Great location

Great property in great location. Perfect for family. Cabin had everything we needed to make breakfast each morning. My son enjoyed the loft space. The ice cream shop on property was a bonus!

Great location

We enjoyed our stay. It was close to Hill City and Keystone so the location was great. The kids liked the loft area. The cabin was clean and stocked with the necessities. Would definitely recommend!

Lots of pollen

Coffee maker didn't work. Not enough hot water for 2fast showers. Enjoyed the scenery but it's right on the main highway so plenty of traffic. Friendly staff and ice cream is great

Perfect place to stay for exploring

Our family of 6 (4 kids 13 and under) stayed here for 4 nights. We were able to conveniently explore many different locations from a somewhat central location. The open space out back was great for relaxing and for the kids to play. Dairy Twist was fun to walk to and eat at multiple times.

Great Accommodations!

Thanks so much for the great accommodations. Your resort is lovely, safe, clean, quiet and very family friendly. Cabin #4 was perfect for us with the loft for the kids. And Dairy Treat is amazing! Great place!

Great little place and super awesome to have the restaurant right next door; plus the food was great! The kiddos loved the kid zone but we forgot a fishing pole for the teenager.

South Dakota road trip

Great basecamp for our travel plans

I booked this place in haste so I didn't realize that this was a park model mobile home. The location was great since we were traveling in different directions during our stay. We just slept there nothing more.

Quaint place to stay, true to advertisement

Enjoyed 4 nights stay in a 2 bedroom unit. Nicely kept property, clean, and well appointed. Kitchen was fully equipped and left you wanting for nothing. No wifi but that should be expected given the location. Cell service was marginal at times but there is plenty of places around the area to get full cell coverage or find wifi hotspots. The property is central to everything for the tourist and only a few miles from a decent grocery store in Hill City. I would not hesitate to stay at Creekside on another visit.

Weekend Getaway

Skip the hotel!

Our family loved staying in our cabin near the creek. We couldn’t ask for a more family friendly environment. Karen was extremely friendly, the grounds and facilities were clean, and my kids loved their loft! Excellent choice for our Black Hills visit.
