Denna privatÀgda, vÀlskötta, uppgraderade, barnvÀnliga stuga, har 3 sovrum, 2 1/2 bad (ett med badkar) och Àr cirka 1400 kvadratmeter. Det Àr en tvÄ vÄningar stuga och rymmer 9 personer, men den rymmer bekvÀmt upp till 12 personer. (Ytterligare kostnad pÄ $ 10,00 per person kan tillkomma). Denna stuga Àr idealisk för tvÄ familjer.
VĂ„r stuga Ă€r ocksĂ„ husdjursvĂ€nlig, men vi har en STRICT PET POLICY och extra PET RENGÖRINGSavgift. Husdjur beaktas och tillĂ„ts endast frĂ„n fall till fall och vi vĂ€grar rĂ€tten att acceptera dem.

PÄ vintern Àr tilltrÀde till stugan till fots, Äka skidor eller snöskoter genom preparerade allmÀnna vÀgar. Stugan Àr en av de nÀrmaste till samhÀllsparkeringsomrÄdet Lot 'C', som ger nÀra tilltrÀde pÄ vintern. De preparerade vÀgarna gör det möjligt för de Àventyrliga skidÄkarna att Äka skidor frÄn Bear Valley Ski Resort Ànda fram till stugans ytterdörr. Bear Valley Ski Resort ligger bara 3 miles upp pÄ vÀgen och under skidsÀsongen finns det en gratis pendelbuss frÄn staden till skidliftarna du kan gÄ till. Sovrum nr 1: bra för barnen; Den har en vÄningssÀng (tvÄbÀddsrum över full storlek sÀngar) och en full madrass under vÄningssÀngar och sover upp till 5.
Sovrum # 2: har en queen size-sÀng och en vÄningssÀng (tvÄbÀddsrum över tvÄ enkelsÀngar) rymmer upp till 4.
Sovrum 3 (sovrummet): har en bekvÀm drottningssÀng.
Dessutom finns det en utklappad futon-sÀng i full storlek i bottenvÄningen som Àr bra för barn och en enda fÀllbar sÀng i vardagsrummet övervÄningen.

PÄ sommaren har vÄr stuga en vacker sÀsongsvikande bÀck som rinner i ryggen och en privat stenbrannstomme framför, perfekt för stekning av marshmallows. Du kan koppla av i vÄr hÀngmatta och anvÀnda vÄr tandemkajak vid Bear Lake som ingÄr i din vistelse. Det finns gott om parkering pÄ gatan vid stugan. Stugan ligger inom mindre Àn en mil till den privata Bear Lake och 4 miles till Alpine Lake.

Enjoyable Bear Valley escape

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and as advertised. The kitchen was especially well stocked with pots/pans/utensils/etc. We loved that the house was snow-bound, yet it was still close enough to walk in with our belongings from the parking lot. Will return someday.

Perfect Mountain Get Away

Lovely home for a summer mountain get away. The property is clean and well maintained along with being easy to get in and out of. It is conveniently located near the main road and Bear Valley amenities. This section of the Sierras is a well kept secret with all the beauty and none of the crowds. It provides great hiking, biking, boating, swimming, and fishing. It is an easy drive from the San Francisco Bay area with many scenic spots along the way. The home is quite and cozy providing an opportunity for rest and relaxation. The kitchen and amenities are well appointed making the stay extra easy. We highly recommend this home.

Good location, no-frills basic cabin.

Convenient location, easy access to the house from the parking lot. Nice friendly owners and well-stocked kitchen. Various heating options (downstairs unit was broken when we were there but the other options were sufficient). Funky layout with spiral stairs in the middle of the top/entry floor, so tight dining/living area. Beds were just ok (mattress upgrades would make a huge difference) but lots of spare sheets and pillows and towels. Extra toys and movies, which was great for our kids. Overall it worked well for our group.

Perfect and so cozy!

Our 2 families of 3 rented this cabin to attend a November wedding at Bear Valley Lodge. It was perfect for our trip, well-stocked with everything you could need and SO COZY! We really appreciated all the extra blankets, cozy rugs, and well-thought-out amenities. Our daughter (age 7) and her friend (age 5) LOVED the toys, DVDs, and stuffed bears in the bunk bedroom. And if I could give an extra star to the Hinrichsen's for all of the hooks and places to hang or put your stuff while you are there I would. I have stayed at so many rental places where there is literally nowhere to put your travel items except the floor. But not here! We lucked out and the roads weren't closed yet due to snow, but even if they had been the cabin would have been easy to access from the parking area. Thanks for such a great stay. We'll definitely be back if our schedule allows.

Classic mountain cabin experience

Had a great spring skiing visit to Bear Valley, and the cabin was exactly what we were looking for: snowbound, easy to access, spacious, clean and well equipped. This is a classic Bear Valley cabin, so don't expect luxurious appointments, but everything was exactly as advertised and worked well, location is extremely convenient, and we had a great time.

Great ski weekend

We loved the house - especially not needing a snowmobile to get to it! House was super clean and spacious. Plenty of parking nearby and the mountain was only a 10-15 min drive away. Would def stay again.

Perfect Location and Wonderful Space

We stayed here just after a big snow storm. It was lovely. A 3 minute walk from the parking lot so it was easy to transport our stuff to the house. The house was cleared for access, warm and clean. We stayed with another family so there were 8 of us total which was perfect. ( 4 adults, 4 teens). Would love to come back here next year or in the summertime!

Great Snow Cabin

If you want snow, this is it. It is close enough to walk from Lot C. Come prepared to snow hike. You can ski to the cabin/Inn which is near by.

Perfect spot to join our out of state children and grandchildren. Lots of room for everyone and absolutely everything you need. Lodge is easily walkable. Lakes and great trails are a quick drive. Very easy check-in but Katia was always available. We had a wonderful stay!!

Perfect cabin for a family ski weekend in Bear Valley!

We felt very lucky to have found Katia's place during our kids ski week! From the beginning, she was quick to communicate and helpful! When we got to the cabin we delighted to find it was so close to the parking lot. Since the roads aren't plowed during the winter, you have to walk all your things up! We were lucky because a friend with a snowmobile helped cart our things...but in reality, with the sleds provided and only a few hundred feet, it would not be difficult. If you don't like this idea...I understand there is a great snowmobile taxi!! The house was VERY well appointed. It had everything we needed for a short (or long) stay. Beds were comfy, kitchen well appointed, the open floorplan in the kitchen family room made it so we could all be together! We had a couple minor things pop up while we were there (previous tenant had broken one of the toilet seats...still usable though) and Katia was super responsive and had someone out to replace it same day! I wouldn't have been able to be that quick at home let alone an hour from a hardware store!! There is central heating but it doesn't do a great job downstairs! But we were still cozy thanks to a gas fireplace in the downstairs family room and a wood fireplace in the master bedroom. One suggestion (for master wood fireplace) is to follow the well written and detailed instructions step by step. You might think you know how to light a fire (we did) but snow creates different pressure systems in the house and the instructions are important to follow!! It's easy though!! All in all - we would definitely go back! This will be our go-to place in Bear Valley not only for the convenience of the location - but because the owners are a great example of how all VRBO owners and hosts should be!! Thank you!

Perfect family cabin in BV

If you’re renting a cabin in Bear Valley when the roads are closed to cars, this is the cabin you’ll want to rent. It is a very short walk to lot c where you can unload your car so this saves you from having to hire a snow mobile taxi. The propane fireplace downstairs keeps the cabin warm and the heaters in the bedrooms ensure you’ll stay comfortable at night even if you close your door. Katia is super responsive, the cabin was very clean, and there was plenty of room for the teens to hang out downstairs while the adults could hang out upstairs. Be prepared to carry your food containers and coolers up a short flight of stairs. I highly recommend using plastic storage containers with removable lids to keep out rain and snow. It makes transporting your food and random gear much easier. We had a great time and definitely recommend!

This cabin was a great find. The beds were super comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked and it was walking distance from Bear Valley Lodge. We loved it!

We are a family of four from the Bay Area and we love skiing, snowmobiling, sledding, cross country skiing, hiking, fishing, kayaking and all that Bear Valley offers! :)

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Our cabin's location is incredible! It is ideal for a mountain getaway in the winter wonderland and yet in close proximity to downtown, for restaurants and ski shuttle, so you don't feel like you are away from the action but yet it is secluded as it sits on over 1/3 acre next to green open county land. We enjoy the spacious level lot, adjacent to green space providing serene outdoor living . Cabin also provides for an easy winter access for our family and friends. Summer time, we fell in love with the seasonal creek that runs behind our cabin and the downtown proximity so kids and the whole family can ride their bikes or walk to the lake, swimming pool, park, library, restaurants etc... We are also close to Spicer Reservoir, Stanislaus river and of course Lake Alpine.

This cabin is one of the closest to the village, providing easy winter access and it is kids friendly. (We have xbox 360, several PG DVDs, toys, games, kids little table, portable highchair & crib). Our cabin is updated, always well maintained, well furnished and fully stocked with all amenities of your own home for your ultimate comfort. We also provide our guests with a tandem kayak for your leisure in the summertime located at our local private Bear Lake.
