Boathouse Cove is set on a beautifully landscaped, gently sloping lawn that leads to 234 feet of private shoreline. The outdoor space includes a private dock with covered boat slips (pontoon rentals available) and a sparkling new pool. For ultimate relaxation, indulge in the 6-person hot tub perched on an elevated deck, where you’ll enjoy sweeping lake views. Reservations for this coveted spot might be necessary! The expansive water views stretch across to a natural preserve, offering an unobstructed view of the Lake Norman woods.

As you approach Boathouse Cove, you’re welcomed by the slate rocking chair front porch, perfect for enjoying the serene surroundings. Step inside to discover an open-concept living space that seamlessly blends the living area, dining area, breakfast room, and kitchen into one inviting environment.

The living room is designed with comfort in mind, featuring cozy couches and breathtaking stonework and wood accents. The custom design of this home will constantly captivate you, with a stunning lake view visible from virtually every angle. The window seats in the living room offer the best views, perfect for enjoying a good book or just taking in the beauty of the lake. Natural light floods the space, creating an airy atmosphere that’s perfect for all-day enjoyment.

The spacious kitchen features a glass cooktop, double ovens, and a large island with seating for 6. It’s fully stocked with everything you need for your stay, including a Keurig and a drip coffee maker, ensuring your mornings are off to a great start.

The dining area, just off the kitchen, provides seating for 8, making it ideal for everything from casual meals to special celebrations. Adjacent to the kitchen is the breakfast room, a cozy spot furnished with couches, a mini-fridge, a bar, a TV, and wonderful views of the new pool and the lake.

The home’s five bedrooms are designed to provide plenty of space for all guests. There are 2 king beds and 5 queen beds, ensuring everyone has a comfortable place to rest. If you’re lucky enough to claim the primary bedroom on the upper level, you’ll enjoy your own private access to the upper deck and a luxurious en-suite bathroom with an oversized shower featuring dual shower heads and a jetted tub. The upper level includes three more bedrooms and two full bathrooms, featuring one king, one queen, and one room with two queen beds.

Home Truths:
- Pool heat is available for an additional fee of $250 per day, per pool, but must be requested at least 48 hours in advance. Pool heat requires a 2-day minimum. Pool heat is available from October 1 – May 30.
- For boat rentals, please reach out to us at least 24 hours before your stay.
- This rental also features 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards for guests to use.
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Indoor fireplaces are NOT for guest use.
- No events, group gatherings, or parties are allowed at any AvantStay property under any circumstances.
- Due to natural fluctuations, we’re unable to provide specific water depth information at any given time. The majority of docks in this area are generally suitable for most average-sized pontoons and ski boats. However, since boat drafts can vary, guests are encouraged to refer to Lake Norman nautical charts, GPS systems, and depth maps—and rely on their own knowledge of their vessel’s specifications—to ensure safe navigation.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
