Another Wonderful Stay

Our 6th year at the Heavenly Daze cabin and it only gets better. Cannot recommend this rental company and their fabulous vacation homes enough!

Durango Spring Break

The property was in excellent shape and we were pleasantly surprised by how nicely decorated the house was. The pictures did not do it justice. The views from the deck were lovely. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and found our time there very relaxing. We love the area around Lake Purgatory and the Hermosa Cliffs. Thank you sharing your vacation home with our family.

Purgatory Retreat

Great stay for skiing/snowboarding, 10 minutes to Purgatory, house very clean, plenty of space for 2 adults and 6 kids...fireplace, hot tub used everyday...definitely need 4/all wheel drive to access property in winter...some info in cabin dated, management VERY responsive in answering questions...

Wonderful family rental

Everything about this property was perfect for our family of five. Perfect location for trips into Durango and up to Silverton. Well-equipped kitchen, plenty of room for sleeping and hanging out, hot tub was an awesome bonus. Will definitely return!

Great vacation spot

Heavenly Daze was perfect for our family. Great place, close to Purgatory, and not far from downtown Durango. Jen and Lorie at the management company are super helpful. 4x4 is absolutely necessary to get to the house. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Kick Back and Relax!

This is our 2nd stay at this property. The owners had updated everything since our stay 2 yrs ago, and it's wonderful! We especially love the deck. The views are fantastic. We stayed put one day and just played games on the deck. So relaxing!

Beautiful cabin and beautiful views.

The cabin was just perfect for us. There were 4 of us...my husband, myself and two daughters. We had a wonderful stay. The internet was very very slow but we were happy to have it at all. Beautiful cabin tucked back in the forest and very private. Would definitely stay there again.

Another Lovely Stay

The Team at DCV never disappoint when it comes to booking a beautiful stay in Durango. The Heavenly Daze cabin, as always, was cozy and felt like home. The kitchen remodel was a bonus! Fully stocked with basic amenities and comfy furniture - great for a week of relaxation disconnect from the real world. We'll be life long guests of Durango as long as DCV is around.

Great stay at Heavenly Daze - superb property and excellent service from Durango Colorado Vacations.

Spectacular in every way except next-to-no internet access. Please add a booster for the WIFI. Otherwise, an excellent property as advertised, and very well cared for.

A Truly relaxing mountain getaway

We stayed here for a ski vacation- 2 families and Grandma and Grandpa. It was very comfortable for the 12 of us. Well furnished, fully stocked kitchen, wonderful patio and hottub. Definitely need 4 WD to get to it in the snow but we had no trouble with the 2 vehicles we drove from Texas. We will stay here again in the future if it is available.

Perfect family vacation!

We loved this property. Clean, spacious and very comfortable - with a beautiful view. More than enough room for 2 teenagers! Would love to come back! Plenty to do in Purgatory and Durango. Cascade Falls hiking trail is a 15 minute drive from the property - the hiking trail has tons of creeks and streams - a perfect way to spend the day.

Dream Property

While spending 7 days in the San Juan Mountains with our Jeeps, we decided to stay at Heavenly Daze. The home was truly a home away from home. Everything was as expected from the original description of the home. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck at night and stargazing!! We highly recommend this home to others wanting to stay in the San Juans!

Amazing cabin

This property was everything we hoped for and then some. The owners clearly take a lot of pride in making sure guests feel at home. Short of providing us with groceries, we did not need anything while at the cabin. It is nestled deep into the woods which our kids loved exploring, picking wildflowers and looking for little treasures when they weren't enjoying the hot tub! We were so happy to have found this property - it really made our Colorado vacation.

Exceeded expectations

The property was as advertised. Well constructed, furnished and decorated. Very functional and accommodating. We had 5 adults and never felt crowded. We rented in the fall so there was very little traffic on the cabin road. The property is secluded and a bit of a drive both from Durango and up to the cabin location, a bit longer than anticipated. I would rent again and can recommend you do the same.

Beautiful Property

We loved our stay at Heavenly Daze! It’s in a great location with the right amount of privacy. The only thing we had an issue with was evidence of mice being around each morning and the bed was not very comfortable. However, we did let the property managers know of our concerns and they addressed them right away and we never actually saw the mice. We do realize that due to its location, mice can be an issue so we looked past it and would definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing your amazing property!!

Nice property for a big group.

This home has several large sleeping areas with comfortable beds. The kitchen is well appointed and comfortable living area. The hot tub on the deck was very enjoyable in the evenings after skiing. Our group of 7 was quite comfortable. The upstairs loft was quite spacious but lacks privacy and is loud. Also, make sure to bring your own ax for firewood as the provided pieces of wood are large and there is no fire starting material provided. All in all a great ski trip!

Great spot for family adventure AND relaxation

Our family stayed in Aug 2022 and had a wonderful visit. The place is well stocked with kitchen needs, linens and other amenities. Hot tub is clean and great after a day of hiking. Everything about this place feels well managed and well maintained. One item to note is that the wifi is not super strong. So, if your family is the type to use multiple devices (like Netflix, a computer and a phone) or planning a long rental to work remotely, we recommend contacting the company to see if any upgrades have been made. Our understanding was that the wifi was the strongest possible for this particular location. All in all though a really great spot, beautifully appointed, great location great town. Definitely recommend.
