An amazing place for a small group

Beach time!!!

The price should be alittle lower. But other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Nice size back porch for hanging out, but if I had to pick one negative thing, it's the "outstanding ocean views". There really aren't any views unless you look from the far corners. The gigantic sand dune takes all the views away. But overall a good place for a small family.

Relaxing Week

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fourth time staying in this cottage. Really enjoyed the week relaxing on the beachfront porch. What a view! As I mentioned before, the living room furniture is outdated and not very comfortable. If replaced, this cottage would be exceptional! Did notice that the toilet had been replaced in the master bathroom. What a difference that made. Overall, this cottage has not disappointed me, and I would rent again.

Location fantastic; description not up-to-date. The sand dunes block the view of the ocean and make access to the beach more difficult than described. House cleaners take everything they can (toilet paper, food staples (ketchup, mustard, spices), soaps. Blankets dirty, piled in closets unfolded. Ice maker barely working, making about a dozen ice cubes daily. Response to calls for service took 3 days to acknowledge. Other than that. . . .

Great location right on the beach!

The house had a great open layout and the ease to get on the beach was amazing. The furniture was older, but fine. The house was not fancy, but made for a great beach vacation. Was able to walk to dinner and other places.

Has pretty much everything

We’ve stayed in several beach houses along the NC coast and this one was one of our favorites. Beautiful beach front view, well stocked kitchen and plenty of seating and beds. The outside shower with warm water was a glorious decadence and the on site washer dryer were clutch as well. The house sits right next to a public access which meant a little less privacy than some of the other homes on the strip but it also meant the life guard station was close which we really appreciated with our young kids. It was our first time to kill devil beach and found lots to love. Beach was beautiful and clean. Not really any shells worth picking up, but we saw dolphins almost every day and hunted ghost crabs every night - one of my kids’ favorite beach activities. Would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks for sharing your awesome coastal retreat!

Great little getaway

We had a great time. This place is the perfect location on the beach! It made it very easy to come back and forth with all our beach equipment . We enjoyed sitting out on the back porch in the evenings and watching the sunrise in the morning! Kitchen had everything we needed to make home cooked meals. The whole trip was very relaxing.

Being directly on the beach was awesome. We spent a lot of time just relaxing on the covered porch watching the waves crash. The house is older but very comfortable. The property management was great to work with. You are very close to the pier.
