Beautiful home with plenty of space

We stayed for 9 nights and enjoyed our stay. The pool needed cleaning after a few storms and the host quickly sent someone. We would stay there again.

Family spring break

Great beach house that is spacious and centrally located to everything needed. The pool was nice too bad it wasn’t warmer at EI in April. The house had everything we needed for a great and memorable vacation.

Great Place for a Range of Ages

All the kids loved the pool. The downstairs (pool table, arcade games, lounging couches and mini-kitchen) functioned well for the kids and younger adults, while the senior adults got to chat in peace and quiet upstairs. Big dining table worked well for family dinners.

Great Stay

Really enjoyed staying at this EI home. Was perfect for our family of only 7. Bit too chilly to enjoy the beautiful pool, maybe next time. Would recommend this home without hesitation!!

Great location and house

We stayed for two nights as a Girl Scout group of 13, the house was beautiful and private, kids loved the pool. Location was great as far as distance to the beach and restaurants. Plenty of room for us all!

Family Time

The property was spacious and well kept. The pool was beautiful to look at even though it was too cold ( November) to get in. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a fun stay here! When we ran into any issues with the property, Tony was prompt to respond and send assistance. He was a pleasure to work with and his property was great for our large group of friends. The short walk to the beach was perfect!

Excellent stay at beautiful property

We very much enjoyed our stay at this amazing property on beautiful Emerald Isle. We had a mixed group of adults and teens. The layout of the house was perfect. The kids enjoyed the downstairs space with ping pong table and outdoor pool. Adults loved the wonderful kitchen and many outdoor porch areas to relax. The close proximity to the beach access was perfect. Thank you for a fantastic getaway!

Birthday Getaway

Stayed here for my 40th birthday celebration with my 5 closest friends and their families from middle school and high school. It was absolutely the best house we could’ve asked for! Everything clean, location was super convenient and the pool kept us and the 8 kiddos occupied for days on end! Thank you so much for lifelong memories that we made!

A Real Gem for a Winter Stay

We chose this listing for our large group, and accepted off-the-water because the beach was not our main focus and that gave us more options at better prices. This house is a gem--large, and with accommodations that serve a large group, like lots of dishes, a full size dishwasher, oven, a large table, lots of group seating and multiple balconies that let little groups break away and let individuals have a little down time.

Great for kids and adults

The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. Laundry is conveniently located. It was very nice having the 2nd living area downstairs for our grown kids and a dining table that comfortably seats 8. The walk to the beach was pleasant. The house is close to the main road so there is a bit of road noise but you really dont hear it inside.

Great weekend despite the rain

A group of older women were very happy here during their annual beach weekend. While a tropical storm kept us inside for most of the weekend this house was perfect for us. Clean, updated decor and comfortable bedrooms were appreciated. Lots of room in the common areas to move around. We did brave the rain for a quick walk on the beach right down the street. The owner was amazing and responded super quick to all our questions. Loved it!

Beautiful home but no extras...

The house was beautiful, but for the price we paid, it should've included a lot more. My wedding party traveled to the home from all over the country and found that they still had to go out a purchase soap, shampoo, coffee etc. I've rented many homes in the past which have included all of these things and many more. The beds were extremely hard. The pool was freezing and unusable. Parking was a huge problem for our large group, and the neighbor called the police on us 3x for parking in the street. Overall, it was a nice home, but id never rent it again. There's much better homes with amenities in the area

Family reunion week

The location and portrayal was positive. The property was underwhelming. Upkeep of a property of this caliber has not kept up with the demands of a beach area. Carpets should be replaced with laminate, tile, or hardwood as they were badly worn and appeared dirty. Cockroaches were present reported, and addressed immediately. Decking was rough,and needs repair. A window leaked and water pooled from rain. The back storm door was not hung square so would not easily shut and the handle fell apart. Woodwork-trim was dirty and could be touched up. Overall not impressive for a top end resort property.

Wonderful Place to Reconnect

Spent a weekend at the house reconnecting with friends. We were a group of 4 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs. The layout of the bedrooms on opposite sides of the house allowed everyone to have their separate spaces while enjoying all the living spaces together in the center of the house. The kids loved the pool, arcade games and ping pong table. It was a quick two block walk to the beach, and centrally located for just about anything you’d want to do on the island. We rented kayaks from Swansboro Paddle Boarding and the service there was great. We had a little confusion about some of the online listing (app info versus website/browser info) but nothing a couple quick questions didn’t address. Thanks for the enjoyable stay.

Short Getaway

We will 100% stay here again! The house was perfect for us. We had four families and plenty of room to hang out or get away from each other. The bedroom layout is great. They are spread out for privacy and convenience. Ping pong and the video games were a hit with the kids and adults. We walked to the beach multiple times a day. It takes 5 minutes or less, and the kids could run ahead safely. I would however loved to have had the pool heated. It was beautiful, but it was cold. We knew it wouldn’t be full summer heat yet, but I would have paid extra to turn a heater on. The dryer took many cycles to dry, but everything else was amazing!! A+ rating

Beautiful home

This is a beautiful home, with lots of great amenities. We rented this home for a family wedding on Emerald Isle, and there were 12 adults (ages17-50's) and 2 children who stayed for 2 nights. Some of our collective thoughts on the property as a whole: (1) the home is further from the beach than we originally anticipated from the listing, it is within walking distance, but it is not right on the beach. (2)The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, and pots and pans, but you will probably need to purchase dishwashing detergent, we only had one pod for our entire stay, for 14 people. Also, the kitchen space is very tight, if your group likes to cook! (3) We would've loved to have been able to use the pool! It is not heated, and was not really usable due to the amount of leaves, and pine needles, etc. To be fair, we stayed in the off season. During the summer months, the pool would've been perfect!! Overall, this property is beautiful and clean, relatively updated, well located, but a bit noisy, due to the close proximity to the main road. We appreciated the fact that we could all stay together, since our family is scattered across the country, and doesn't get to see one another often. The host was easily reached with any issues, and is very personable, and easy to deal with.

Nice

Pretty nice and fit my family and their families! The master rooms are very roomy as was the other upstairs bedroom. The driveway is fairly steep, and we had to finagle how to park our different cars. The downstairs outlets in bedroom 4 did not work, along with the outside outlets by garage doors and back shower area, which made charging up the golf cart a bit challenging. I did not like that to check out, we had to hand wash the dishes and put up. The dishwasher sanitizes and saves water consumption. We found a white bowl that had reside flour in it that had been put away as if it were clean. I also do not like the fact that the sheets are left on the beds at checkout. No sure way to know if they were clean; however, that is just my preference as others probably would not like bothering to strip the beds. Everyone had a Great visit, and the pool made the stay perfect due to the rough surf conditions. All in all, a very nice place to stay.

The house was wonderful. It was just perfect for my family. Tony was very responsive as a host. The walk to the beach was a little far but it was manageable.
