This family-friendly condo, located in Mountain Lodge (Ski/Bike in & out) features 3 bedrooms, and 3 full bathrooms with a brand new deck with an amazing view of the mountain. Watch the sun rise over the mountains from the patio or in the dining room/living room. Mountain Lodge is located directly adjacent to Snowshoe Village and is approximately 30 yards from the Ballhooter chairlift and slopes. The unit includes wifi and private parking in a guarded lot for up to 3 vehicles.

The condo can sleep up to ten (10) people. There are two (2) bedrooms with queen beds, a bedroom with 2 twin bunk beds and a queen pullout couch. A pack and play is included in the rental and can be used for an additional child. All three bedrooms have a flat-screen TV with cable and HBO and ceiling fans. Two of the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. All bathrooms have a bathtub with a shower, toilet, towels and wash clothes for four (4) people, a hair dryer and soap. The living room has a large smart tv that is connect to cable and a large variety of board games. The fully-equiped, eat-in kitchen includes dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, range, and oven. The kitchen is well stocked with dinnerware, utensils, pots and pans to prepare your own meals. There is a recessed ski rack in the front hallway with plenty of room to hang up your gear.

Great for families! Mountain lodge provides amenities such as gym equipment, pool table and ping-pong table, and an indoor fireplace. The mountain lodge also contains many additional activities that can be access for an additional fee: children's playground and climbing wall, arcade room, Glice skating, coin laundry, vending machines. The back entrance of mountain lodge is 30 yards from the Ballhooter Lift and the waffle cabin. The condo is a short walk to Snowshoe's village restaurants and shops, pool and hot tub for a fee.

Excellent Ski Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at an awesome property that suited our needs perfectly. Our host could not have been better (thanks Matthew!). We hope to stay here again in the future!

Disappointed

This property is not what I expected for the price. The internet did not work which was a huge problem and I would not have booked had I known there wasn’t reliable internet. The TVs were in and out due to slow cable and no internet. It was too hot in the apt with non working thermostats and bedroom windows all facing communal hallways. The hot water constantly ran out. There were no amenities like shampoo and conditioner, oven mitts, tin foil, dish sponge, etc. which, normally, wouldn’t be a huge issue if we weren’t on top of a mountain with no access to stores. Parking is not included as the listing indicates, the host buries the cost in host fees.It was in a huge very dated hotel. Not exactly the cozy ski resort I was expecting. We had no check in information and the host was not responsive during check in which literally cost us the entire first evening — I wasn’t looking for a huge Soviet-style building with a rude receptionist in the blizzard conditions in the dark (since we couldn’t even check in until 5pm). I could go on but I won’t. The host was initially responsive, I felt I was owed 3 nights but he said he would reimburse me only 1 and then just ignored me when I accepted 1. In the end we never received any reimbursement from him. I hope he took some of profit he made from us (which was an extraordinary amount) and invested it to make things better for future guests.
