With the interior decor centered around a beach-life theme, the living room, kitchen, and dining area invite you to relax and be comfortable—whether on a cushy couch watching a movie or gathering for a meal, snack, or drink at the breakfast nook or more formal dining table. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, stone countertops, and all the essentials you need to prepare delicious meals, as well as a Keurig and pods to get you going each morning. You’ll find that we’ve got you covered for indoor entertainment too, with several big-screen TVs, high-speed internet, and Bluetooth speakers.

Each of the 4 bedrooms has extra-comfortable, high-quality mattresses and linens. Plus, they’re all stylishly accessorized with beach-themed décor—cute and cozy, all the way!

The Aloha Beach House offers two full bathrooms, one with a bathtub and shower combination and a single vanity, and another with a walk-in shower, toilet, and vanity. A washer and dryer are also available for your convenience.

Outdoors, you'll find a custom wooden deck with a gas grill, patio table and umbrella, comfy lounge furniture, and Adirondack chairs wrapped around a cool firepit. Anyone up for hot cocoa and stargazing in front of the fire? The fenced yard also has a nice lawn for kids to play on. Since you’ll likely want to visit the beach, we provide you with a cooler, beach umbrella, wagon, beach chairs, sand toys, etc. Please feel free to reach out with questions or special requests. Since the Aloha Beach House is so centrally located—close to a wide variety of outdoor activities, restaurants, watering holes, nightlife spots, shops, boutiques, and galleries for you and your guests to explore and enjoy—we’ll mention a number of highlights here, but we’re sure you’ll discover countless options to choose from! Besides being just 45 miles east of Chicago, Michigan City—where Aloha Beach House is located—is known for both its proximity to Lake Michigan and its closeness to Indiana Dunes National Park. You’ve got magnificent stretches of shoreline, windswept sand dunes, and hiking trails galore (ranging from easy to moderate to rugged, most open year-round, many with public bathrooms) just a stone's throw away. And by the way, the Indiana Dunes National Park is not just celebrated for its beautiful beaches and sand dunes, but it’s also one of the most biodiverse national parks in the U.S., featuring grassy trails, marshes, and dense forests, making it a hiking and birdwatching paradise!

Local farms, vineyards, and wineries offer tours where you can see and sample the products they grow, which supply neighboring fine restaurants and cafes, craft brewpubs, wine shops, and cocktail bars. Speaking of which, there are dozens of these to check out, all in the nearby vicinity of Aloha Beach House. Less than 10 miles away, you can also enjoy the many water-related and boating activities offered by the region’s largest recreational harbor, including boat, kayak, and canoe rentals, day and evening cruises, fishing expeditions, and much more. In addition to the numerous local antique shops, boutiques, and distinguished art galleries, you can wander through Friendship Botanic Gardens (just a short walk away) or the Old Lighthouse Museum in Michigan City’s Uptown Arts District.

To abide by all legal requirements and property security rules, you may be asked to participate in a guest prescreening. All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to adhere to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing vacation travel insurance if you suspect that you will need to cancel your vacation.

Contactless Check-In: Detailed check-in instructions will be sent via text or email two days before your stay, provided all guest agreements are completed.

The minimum age to rent this home is 25.

A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party, up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

We welcome up to 2 dogs at this home at no additional charge. Please include the number of pets you plan to bring or let our team know after booking. 

Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.
