We really liked it. Thought that it was a standalone unit from the listing, with two big dogs, it was almost a game changer. The owner however was willing to be more than accommodating to the needs that we had. It was truly a wonderful visit. Cannot state how beautiful it was.

Birthday beach getaway

Hidden treasure! Wish the path to the beach was easier
lugging equipment was a workout! Realized that it costs as much to stay here as it would have on the beach walk (more modern and new). But kids loved the games in the apartment!

Amazing stay

This is an awesome rental with amazing views. Went with my wife for our anniversary. Nice walkway to the beach. We could even see the Chicago skyline at Sunset from the beach. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Great weekend away

Beautiful view and great proximity to Lake Michigan. We enjoyed the beach and also the many amenities the property offered. We had to bring two vehicles, parking was a bit tricky but the caretaker was there to help me out. Some inside features are a bit worn but we were there for Lake Michigan so it didn’t bother us at all. Thank you for a great weekend away!

Wonderful location right on the beach, great sunsets. Property has a ton of character, very quirky in a good way! Lots of good amenities, all as advertised. Had a blast playing old school arcade games. Communication with property manager was very easy and informative. Neighborhood quiet and easy to navigate, close to town. Had a fabulous stay, highly recommend!

Very accommodating! Only thing that wasn't working right was the gas grill. Couldn't get it up above 250 degrees.

Nice stay on Lake Michigan

With this rental you have the top floor of the building to yourself. It has the best view as you can see Lake Michigan as you look out the wall of doors from almost anywhere in the rental. Amenities are great and there is a lot to choose from (gas fireplace, hot tub, large jacuzzi, steam room). The cons would be tight parking and navigating down the narrow road. There are a lot a good number of stairs as well so keep that in mind if you don't like stairs. Overall my wife and I really enjoyed the rental and the beach and would likely stay again.

Great location, beware of stairs & calls from owner

This is a great location! Absolutely right on the beautiful dunes and beach. What the listing excludes is that this is a 3rd story/multi-residence rental. The stairs are intense. Also, the owner prefers to talk with you - several times/conversations - all about how to use the property instead of providing it in writing (or labels on appliances, etc.) It's a great choice for a romantic get away for adults.

Fabulous Lake Michigan Views

This unit had amazing views of Lake Michigan from the great room and bedroom, as well as the deck. We particularly enjoyed soaking-in the view while soaking in the hot tub. Kitchen was comfortably appointed with all of the appliances we required and a good assortment of dishes/pots/pans. Bonus feature was two arcade-style games, which were perfect to enjoy when it was too cold to enjoy the beach. Only downsides were the industrial aspect of the surrounding neighborhood and a low spot in the king-sized mattress that had me rolling towards the middle every night.

Beautiful home with Beautiful scenery

It was an awesome get away! The house was beautiful and plenty of room for my husband, daughter (who is 30) and our dog. The view from the deck was amazing! There were a few of the games that needs a little work. The screen was very wavy and hard to play. We enjoyed the pinball machine the most. The hot tub and jacuzzi was wonderful too! In the evening we watched the deer go past. The kitchen and supplies worked out great. The only drawback to the house was the sofa bed. There is a topper you can put on top of the mattress but our daughter said it was not comfortable. The beach was wonderful but the waves were to big to try out the kayak or paddle board. Instead of finding shells in places like Florida there were so many beautiful rocks that washed up on shore. We would definitely stay again!

Great place on the beach

Location was great, right on a beautiful beach. Didn't realize paddleboards/bikes, etc were shared among the units. But didn't have any issue with those being available. Bikes were in fair condition - older and 2 had bad tires. We didn't feel safe driving them too far and getting stuck with a breakdown. Not having actual full oven wasn't ideal as it was convection oven dual w the microwave. Ben the property manager was awesome! He checked in routinely and available any time. And readily got us anything we needed. He lives in the bottom unit. My kids enjoyed the pinball machines. The walk to the beach was an accurate 3 minutes, but very nice trail. View of beach isn't fully clear with a few trees in the way and on right side of property had no housing and alot of trees/foilage so not full on open view of beach in all directions.

I appreciated arriving during the day because the condo is located at the bottom of a small hill, and it took a moment to figure out which door led to our specific condo. It is a three floor walk-up, but the view makes it totally worth it. It was great to have parking right outside the location. We visited in October, but I imagine this location during the winter time would be an amazing place for quiet reflection and quiet walks on the beach. They have all the toys to enjoy a summertime visit as well. We are a mixed couple and were unsure of the community so we instacarted our groceries and the groceries arrived as we pulled up, so it truly felt like everything was taken care of. We spent the day at the Great Escape Spa that is just ten minutes away, and were well taken care of. The steam room in the condo looks a bit intimidating with the red light and single plastic chair, but it was truly a gift and was great to use after our massages and facials. The grill was perfect, along with the hot tub and jacuzzi. Our dog became visibly relaxed almost immediately since he had the outdoor patio to lay on and sniff new smells. We did not take advantage of all the games and it felt a bit crowded with all of them, but I imagine the right visitor would really enjoy them. The gentleman who was on site was very friendly and helpful. On our way home we noticed how close we were to the outlet mall. We are looking forward to visiting again.

The view from the balcony was stunning without any obstructions. The walk to the beach, along the sandy path was easy. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of plates, glasses, pans, skilletes, and utensils. There arecomplete instructions and labeling for all the fun stuff; arcade machines, steam room, hot tub, massage chair, etc. We enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed our stay, loved the pinball machine. Walk to beach wasn’t too bad and definitely worth it. Hot tub and jacuzzi were nicely sized. 10/10 would stay here again.

Nice quaint spot. Quick 3-5 minute walk to the lake. Beautiful area for swimming or sunbathing. Lots of directions to follow if you need any assistance with how to operate anything!! 2 Thumbs up!!
