We're glad you found the place clean, but sorry to hear the rest of your stay wasn't what you expected. Just to give a little context on the shower, California has water conservation restrictions that can result in lower water pressure at the property. That said, there's a difference between lower pressure and barely any water coming out, so we would've been happy to check that out had we known during your stay. We also understand the frustration with the construction next door, especially with someone in your group not feeling well. Unfortunately, work in neighboring units isn't always something we're notified about or have control over, but we certainly understand why it was disruptive. None of these concerns were reported to our team during your stay, so we didn't have the opportunity to look into them at the time. We also hear your disappointment about the price and your request for a partial refund. We appreciate the feedback and will make sure these concerns are reviewed with our team.

The summer heat definitely made AC an important factor for this trip, so we understand why that stood out. Just to clarify for future guests, air conditioning was never listed or advertised as an amenity at this property, so it wasn’t part of what was included with the reservation. You did contact us right away, and the refund request was reviewed before a decision was made. Since the home was provided as listed and AC was not advertised, the request wasn’t approved on that basis. We still appreciate the feedback and will keep making sure the listing is clear about what guests can expect before booking.

The neighborhood has more of a residential, lived-in feel, and while that can be a good fit for some guests, we understand it may not match everyone’s vacation vibe. The trash bins are secured to help prevent unauthorized dumping and keep the area cleaner, and activity at neighboring properties is unfortunately outside our control, though we always take guest concerns seriously when they’re brought to us. We’re glad the updated interior, appliances, and comfortable bed worked well for you. The kitchen water issue was addressed when reported, and we appreciate the chance to respond during the stay. We’ll also keep the deck condition in mind as something to check more closely between guests.
