- Pine Peak Retreat has gone through a complete and meticulous renovation to ensure your comfort and enjoyment. With luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout, updated bathrooms and kitchen, stylish furniture and decor, and fresh paint inside and out, you’re sure to feel at home.


- The first floor includes the living room with a comfortable couch, a beautiful wood burning fireplace, 55” OLED TV with Netflix, Apple
TV and Amazon Prime, a blanket ladder and family games. The bright and spacious remodeled kitchen has butcher block countertops, a armhouse sink, stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, seating for six, desk area, and a stocked coffee bar. A full bathroom with a cast iron tub. And a brand new Rinnai wall heater to keep the whole cabin warm and toasty.

- The second floor primary bedroom has a supremely comfortable king size bed, large closet, and dedicated work space with a USB charging station. The secondary bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds (each with their own reading lamp, table or shelf and USB charging station), a dresser, table and chairs for games, and a washer and dryer available for guests. The bathroom has a beautifully tiled shower, and a wall mounted light up magnifying mirror.

- After a day of hiking or skiing, have an invigorating massage in the brand new hot tub. Or just chill out and enjoy the great benefits such as improved sleep, stress reduction, pain relief, and much more. Spend some relaxing time on the spacious wrap around deck. Enjoy cooking on the bbq, and eating your meals at the picnic table.

- String lights enhance the evening mood. Additional seating area with loveseat, chairs, ottomans and an umbrella for those sunny days. Gaze up at the stars while sitting by the fire pit. Seating cushions and pillows, and Ladder Toss game in an outdoor storage bench.

- Pine Peak Retreat is great for a romantic couples getaway. With two sets of bunk beds, and child safety gates it’s very family friendly. Also a lovely retreat for friends.

- Parking: 2 vehicles max. Use the property driveway. No street parking.

- Pets: Not allowed. Violators will be evicted with no refund.
- Check-in/Check-out: Check-in after 4:00 PM, check-out by 10:00 AM.
- Music: No amplified music beyond the property line.
- Quiet Hours: To respect our full-time neighbors, please keep noise levels down between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM
- Smoking/Vaping: Strictly prohibited inside & outside.
- Parties/Events: No parties or commercial filming.
- Fireworks/Open Fires: Not permitted.
- BBQ: Use propane grill only. Refills at local DIY store.
- Damage: You’re responsible for any damages to the property.
- Liability: You assume all risks. Host is not liable for accidents, injuries, or illnesses.
- Refunds: No refunds for mechanical failures, weather-related issues, or wildlife encounters.
- Snow: Carry chains in winter. You’re responsible for snow removal on decks & stairs.

You have access to all areas of the house, except for a few locked closet spaces containing the owner's belongings, cleaning supplies & other items.

We are available to guests 7 days a week. The easiest way to contact us is by sending us a message on the airbnb app. Please check the home when you get there to ensure everything is to your satisfaction. If we can do anything to make your stay more enjoyable, please let us know ASAP. Our guidebook answers most questions of fun things to do in town.

Moonridge is Big Bear's most desirable neighborhood, known for its forest surroundings, spectacular views and close proximity to all activities. Great hikes in walking distance! Big Bear Lake is SoCal's year round 4 season resort town, just a few hours outside of Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Santa Barbara and Palm Springs, as well as a great destination trip from Phoenix and Las Vegas. Within minutes of our cabin you will find Bear Mountain Resort, Snow Summit Resort, Big Bear Lake, Alpine Zoo, Big Bear Lake Village, Scenic Walks, Hiking Trails, Mini Golf, Golf, Go Karts, Horse Back Riding, Kayaks, Boating, Fishing, Mountain Biking, Sledding and much more.

Public transport: Uber/Lyft are not as common on the mountain.

- Snow: It’s your responsibility to get to & from the cabin in snow. No refunds for early departures or weather delays.
- Chains/Tires: Snow chains/tires are required by Big Bear/San Bernardino County. The road to the cabin is steep in places & you drive at your own risk.
- Snow Removal: Local snowplows clean the driveway & steps, but this may take a day during heavy snow.
