Perfect to for a mountain getaway. The house is clean on a quiet street. Great view out the large windows to the river behind the house. Make your way down to the river. Hang out in the hammocks or by the fire pit . Will definitely stay again the future.

Gorgeous property and the cabin has a fantastic vibe. Lots of natural light and space. Golfing at Mt. Hood Resort is just minutes away. We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend and hope to stay here again in the near future.

This cabin was everything we hoped it would be and more! Right next to the river, nice and clean and well stocked with necessities. Vince made the check in process very easy and was super responsive to any questions/messages. Will absolutely stay here again!

First off, VRBO app on the phone won’t display all 5 stars so I didn’t get to rate everything as a 5 start stay. But it was a complete 5 star experience.Vince was super about responding to me about a smoke detector going nuts. Pretty sure he messaged me back within 10 minutes. My family doesn’t even text me back that fast. Nice clean kitchen with pots and pans, baking sheets, more dishes than I would ever need, great coffee maker, and a very comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Yes, we used the hot tub. And yes, it was easy to use and easy to put the powder in after we used it. I would easily stay here again.

Great home for a family trip and gorgeous location! The house was very clean, the beds comfy and it was so relaxing to listen to the sounds of the Sandy River and see it flowing by from the hot tub on the back patio. The house had everything we needed - the cozy extra blankets on the couch and beds were especially appreciated on an unusually cold and stormy June weekend. Our host was very responsive. We hope to be back!

Amazing place, very clean and remote feeling. Great view of the river from the patio and living room. I actually liked the bed, couch, dining room table/chairs and fireplace better than the ones in my own home - very homey and comfortable!

We had an outstanding stay and would absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting the Mt. Hood area. The home was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything our family needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax after a day of exploring.The location was perfect—peaceful and surrounded by beautiful scenery, while still being conveniently located for hiking, sightseeing, and getting to nearby attractions. It made an excellent home base for our Oregon vacation.Communication with the host was exceptional from start to finish. Check-in was simple, instructions were clear, and the host was responsive and helpful whenever we had a question.We especially appreciated all of the thoughtful touches throughout the home that made it feel welcoming and comfortable. It's obvious the owners take pride in providing a great experience for their guests.We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would gladly recommend this property to family and friends. Thank you for helping make our vacation such a memorable one!

Varför värden valde detta boende

Its location just an hour from my home in Portland which makes quick getaways easy. I love its location along the Sandy River and all the cedar and fir trees and the soothing sounds of nature. Plus there are many great restaurants and a grocery store within a few miles. It's location has great things to offer year round and is a great base camp for exploring Mt Hood.

I put a lot of time and effort into remodeling and furnishing it to stand out from the rest. My family loves it and I hope you will too!
