New Years Getaway
We were excited to find a place to accommodate all 13 of us! We rent beach homes at least twice a year, so weâve been in several. Upon arrival there were no problems with door codes. We inspected rooms and outdoor area. First, there was trash along fence line and later discovered a dirty food tray in the bbq pit. We searched for the temp adjuster for the âspaâ and found none. One of the kids came up saying the downstairs sink was clogged. I called the number listed on the wall that answers calls 24/7. No one answered- left message. No return call. During dinner we at sat around the large wooden table only to find the table top was NOT secured to the base as an pressure on table edges caused it to lift up! We nearly missed several accidents, also noticed the cross bar on seat bench was broken. Around 10p I saw a missed call registered from the property, but phone never rang and no message was left. I checked the Vrbo app we used and there was a message stating the house is not equipped with a hot tub nor is it listed that way. It was recommended we could use the heated community pool, which to find out was not heated. Along the way we found the outdoor rocking chair were VERY dirty that we had to clean ourselves to use. The dryer door didnât close well, and the lint tray was packed w lint from previous renters. TV in pink room would connect so it went unused through our stay. It just didnât seem like it was ready for us from the last use which seemed like a good while.
