This home is so charming and cozy. You can tell that it has been meticulously maintained by the owner. It was very clean and well equipped with everything you’d need, including ample linens/ towels and individually packaged toiletries in the bathroom. The air conditioning was excellent and cooled the house very quickly. It is located on a quiet street away from the busy beach traffic which was nice. The walk to the Mayflower was easy, about 10 minutes, and that was lugging kids, wagons, and strollers. The owner, Roberta, was lovely and very responsive. She showed up same day to resolve a minor trash issue we had. The only ‘con’ (to absolutely no fault of the owner) is that there are some fragile items/ decor around the home, particularly in the front porch/ sun room area, so if you have a crawling baby or toddler, then you may need to block off or move some things. We chose to not let the kids play in the sun room for that reason and kept the French door to it closed. We rent every year on Mayflower and I would definitely stay here again! We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend it!

We had an amazing time during our stay! The house was perfect for our group of six adults and beautifully decorated with the cutest Cape Cod and beach-themed pieces. The best part was the very quick walk to the beach, which made carrying our coolers and chairs so easy. The pictures really don't do this place justice—it's even better in person!

Great location!

The week was split in two: first half was a family vacation, second half was a girls weekend. While a little on the small side (she's a charming authentic cottage!) there were more than enough beds/rooms for each. We appreciated that there were two sitting areas and three tables (including the back patio). We never once paid for parking as Mayflower Beach is a.short 10-15 min walk. Def bring a beach wagon! Made the trek so easy. Each morning we were able.to run to Chapin's Beach (about 2.5 miles round trip) and even caught some awesome.sunsets there.

Family Vacation

My family and I had a great 2 weeks at the cottage. The walk to the beach was just the right distance for little legs. The house was clean and spotless when I checked in and had everything you could need. The owner was very responsive to questions. We enjoyed our time there. Thanks to the owner for sharing her home with us!

Lovely home in a great neighborhood

This home was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 teens. The front room was great for games and puzzles and the back deck was perfect for outside dining. The outdoor shower is a treat. Thank you for having us!

Short walk to paradise!

This beautiful property is located around 2 blocks from Bayview Beach. Morning walks, biking along the shore, beach combing or sitting with a good read are all what this home offers and much more!! This is a quiet neighborhood. This neighborhood offers proximity to dining, ice-cream, theater & cinema, lakes, kayaking, cc baseball games, and so much more!!! The house has central air and pretty much everything else you could possibly need! There are so many personal, creative touches to the nautically themed home.

Great House!

This house was very clean and in a quite neighborhood. There were all of the little amenities you look for in a vacation rental and then some. This was a great place to enjoy the end of summer!

Beautiful Home for Family Vacation

As advertised, fantastic cape house an easy walk to the beach. The house Was equipped with everything we needed for a family of 5 and is full of touches by the owner that made it feel like home. Roberta is extremely helpful, always responding quickly to any questions we had. Terrific experience all the way around!

Best weekend trip!

This was such a lovely cape, clearly well loved and cared for by the owners. We had great access to amazing beaches!! The owner even left us some “Welcome” goodies - Thanks Roberta!!

Nice home with some quirks

Nicely decorated home with attention to detail in the decorations. The kitchen was large and had all the appliances and cooking utensils needed. The bedrooms were nice. The Cons of the house were that it is not air conditioned, Master bedroom on second floor (bathroom on first floor) and steep steep staircase with low clearance to second floor. The master bedroom was beautiful but very very hot. There were fans in the window and on the ceiling but the room was still uncomfortable on a couple of nights. The location of the home was great. It was walkable to the beaches and Chapin's restaurant.

Loved this house!

The cottage was adorable, extremely clean, nicely decorated, with a new and well equipped kitchen. We could walk to the beach and yet stay in a very quiet neighborhood, close to the market, ice cream, fine take out food for dinner, and morning donuts! I would recommend this home for a wonderful Cape get away! Rosemary Shea

This cottage has hosted many families and travelers, who love Cape Cod and treasure the memories they have made here. Nestled in a family neighborhood away from the usual summer traffic. It has a perfect location one mile from Dennis Village with its ice cream shops and three year round restaurants as well as a delightful candy shop and The Dennis Public Market for your groceries. You can walk to three bay beaches as well as walking distance to Chapin's Restaurant and Gina's by the Bay. The sunsets are magnificent and the best the world has to offer. Just bring your beach blanket down at night and witness one of nature's great marvels.

You will love the quaint rose arbor over the door and entrance. There is plenty of room for the children to play soccer or ball in the adjacent yard and a relaxing deck outfitted with furniture and a gas grill right off the kitchen. There is off street parking for three cars and a breakfast room in the front of the house to watch the joggers and strollers leisurely pass and give you a traditional Cape Cod hello.
