Deerwood-private, cozy cabin in the woods

Deerwood Cabin is the coziest little spot tucked into the woods just 4 miles from downtown Mentone AND DeSoto State Park. Rustic features with all the modern conveniences. Perfect for two with King bedroom but there's space for a couple more on the futon couch in the living room too! Fully stocked kitchen including mini dishwasher and vintage inspired refrigerator and microwave. Inviting front porch, screened back porch and back deck are all amazing spots to watch the deer that frequently pass thru the yard! Wood burning fireplace, outdoor fire pit and charcoal grill make this the spot to relax, surrounded by nature!
Mentone offers artist & antique shops and restaurants. Nearby activities include golf, DeSoto State Park, Little River Canyon National Preserve, horseback riding, hiking along rivers & waterfalls. This adorable space is also pet friendly with a $65 pet fee. Please note that it does not have a fenced yard, so you will need to bring a leash for walks.

This is our 2nd time staying here and it was just as great as the last time. The cabin was a great get away to relax and to rejuvenate ourselves, and the scenery was great. We will definitely make it a tradition to come once every year. Highly recommended staying here.

The cabin was private, peaceful, and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The check in was easy. We saw deer and loved the outdoor space & screened porch and front porch. It was such a nice peaceful getaway!

Anniversary get a way

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was well supplied and very clean. The huge mattress was great and the electric blanket was very warming! Well stocked with firewood and charcoal which we enjoyed.

A Nice Rustic Cabin

The cabin had everything we needed and was conveniently located. Enjoyed hiking and trips into Mentone and Valley Head.Unfortunately, the gravel roads were not in good condition.

Fantastic stay at Deerwood

It was a very cozy and clean cabin with so many nice amenities including an electric blanket! A wonderful place to unplug from work! We were able to see some wildlife while sitting on the porch. Close to Desota Falls and loved the Wildflower Cafe!
