"Fantastiska är de enkla sakerna i livet" Ingen tvekan om att du kommer att uppleva detta i vår helt nya stuga. Du kommer att upptäcka att "Rooks Nook" har många personliga inslag, från de avancerade antika nödställda skåp och möbler. "Rooks Nook" är en rymlig timmerstuga på 1500 kvadratmeter, där de exponerade balkarna och den rustika vågiga skivan var klippta från tallar som rensats från partiet. Omslaget runt verandan är inbjudande, med två trästolar gungor och gungstolar, med en svart nödställd finish. Har också en bubbeldäck.

Handräcken på verandan ger ett extra iögonfallande intresse med kycklingtråd och trästöd accentuerade med utskärningar av cowboystövlar och saguaro kaktus. Fastigheten underhåller några stora stenblock i närheten av stugan, där barnen kommer att hitta timmars roliga bara att leka, vilket gör att naturen kan vara deras lekkompis.

Beläget bara några minuter från Desoto State Park, Desoto Falls, Cloudmont Ski & Golf Resort och Mentone, där du kan njuta av shopping i många av de antikaffärerna, som också erbjuder olika livsmedel.

This cabin was probably the best one we have stayed in. It was so beautiful and quiet. The grandkids loved it too. We go up there a couple times a year and we will definitely book here again. Thank you so much for the wonderful memories with our grandkids.

The Rooks are great hosts, everything was very clean, well maintained inside and out they made sure we were well taken care of, beautiful cabin, I felt like I had spa days for 4 days straight. Relaxing and well rested. Watching deer roam right out the door of the cabin. Hummingbirds were such a delight zooming around stopping in mid flight to see us. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

Best property we have rented in Mentone. Lives up totally to the description. Beautiful inside with every need you would expect met. Clean, comfortable, fully stocked kitchen and a lovely outdoor sitting area on the porches. We will book again!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful VRBO property, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The home was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The furnishings were inviting, the beds were very comfortable, and the attention to detail made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location was ideal, offering both convenience and a peaceful atmosphere, making it the perfect place to unwind. Communication with the host was excellent, with clear instructions and prompt responses throughout our visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable and stress-free vacation experience. We would gladly stay here again!

We love staying at Rooks Nooks. It is cozy, secluded, quiet, very clean and the perfect place for a Mentone stay. We have stayed twice already and cannot wait to go back.

If you are traveling with little kids there is a playground and a pool right down the road. The cabin was clean and the hot tub was also, the only thing is the pool table needs to be either repaired or replaced. The host was so kind and responded very quickly! We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Rooks Nooks could not have been better. This place is a lovely cozy cabin! It was super clean and had little touches that made it so homey and pleasant. The beds were comfortable. It had nice dishware to use. The hot tub was great and the front porch with all the comfortable seating looking through the trees was so relaxing. The detail in the woodwork and design inside the cabin was beautiful. A great place to stay.

This is a true hidden gem in Mentone!! The pictures don’t do it justice! The cabin was really nice and clean. It had a fully stocked kitchen of cookware and dishes/glasses. The BEST part was sitting on the front porch in the morning watching the deer eat and roam around….they also had hummingbird feeders, so we saw several of those. If you’re looking for quiet, peaceful, and comfortable THIS is the place for you!! I will definitely be back and can’t recommend it enough!! Just wonderful!!

Rooks Nook cabin is beautiful and we loved the layout and rustic look along with the detail of it. We loved the town of Mentone and I believe we visited every shop along with eating lunch at the Wildflower Cafe which was delicious. Thank you for such an enjoyable trip!

Hello: We are Kevin & Cynthia Rooks. Kevin grew up in this area, Lived in Tennessee for 15 yrs then returned to this area. Cynthia was born in upstate New York, the family moved to West Alabama when she was 9 yrs old because her mother hated the cold. We meet in 1989 and were married in 1990. We,ve been self employed all those years, and have been able to work together,in the Custom Cabinet industry, we enjoy being able assist our customers in design and color selection of their custom cabinets.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We chose to build in Mentone, because for one, we LOVE the Mountains and always vacationed in the mountains, in East Tennessee or out West. Mentone is very beautiful all seasons and has so much to offer, for that that quite get-away, so I coined the phrase "GREAT ARE THE SIMPLE THINGS IN LIFE". And I really beleive that the simple things in life are the most enjoyable. I,ve always wanted to build my own cabin since I've been in the construction industry, this helped me to design and built the cabin, and with Cynthia's input on the color skeam it was a very enjoyable project, in which we put many personal touches for your enjoyment.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

There are many things we enjoy about our cabin Rooks Nook most in the decor. Take notice of the Exposed Beams which were Sawn from Pine Trees cut off the lot itself, these were sawn by a local Saw Man which brought his Portable Saw mill onto the lot and sawed the Beams on site. The Log walls came from North Carolina (not a kit) Each room has a Beadboard plank wainscoat which has a painted distressed finish, the Balcony Railings are Black Rubbed Distressed finish, the Kitchen is a Pine Cabinet with a Green distressed finish, and Red Knobs. All the furniture pieces were custom designed & built by our shop. There is a Pool table on the Balcony, Tile shower & Heart Shaped Jacuzzi in the Master Bath. Hot Tub & Rockers & Swings on the wrap around porch, Just relax and enjoy your self. We hope you get as much enjoyment from your stay as we do. And remember "GREAT ARE THE SIMPLE THINGS IN LIFE"
