Den BayCroft Cottage är ett pittoreskt mysig stuga ligger längs stranden av Bras d'or sjön på tre privata tunnland erbjuder fantastisk utsikt över vattnet och vatten tillgång längst ner på uppfarten. Att bara 2. 3 m. öster om byn Baddeck. BayCroft tillåter gäster att njuta av lugnet på en naturskön reträtt ändå vara en minut eller två från bekvämligheterna av ett populärt turistmål. Helt fristående -contained BayCroft erbjuder lämplig miljö för familjen reträtt eller en romantisk semester. Koppla av på däck, vädret från din egen privata badtunna på däck eller lägereld i eldstaden, promenera till byn eller helt enkelt bara ta det lugnt. Denna historia och hälften är en modern reproduktion av den ständigt populära familjen bungalow och byggs appx. 15 år sedan, är det rena och fräscha. Vilda blommor och vilda liv kan ses medan du njuter av ditt besök som örnar abborre på höga stigande trädgränsen av BayCroft egendom vid fiske i sjön nedanför. Nya säsongen 2016 har vi lagt tvättmöjligheter, hög hastighet wifi. Stor platt skärm. Funktioner öppet koncept vardagsrum och kök, altandörrar leder till en avkopplande däck för att titta på stjärnfall reflektera över bukten under månen lyser kvällarna.

OM OSS: Vårt hotell ligger i byn Baddeck längs Baddeck Bay. Vi är en 2. 3 mil promenad / enhet / cykel / simma till centrum av byn. Vilket gör att man kan ta del av de village`s många bekvämligheter ännu fly från `s sommar jäkt. Vår fastighet erbjuder ett centralt läge för alla äventyr Cape Breton Island har att erbjuda inom nära räckhåll till fots eller bil. Vi finns på den världsberömda Cabot Trail. Stugan har en enkel ljus och luftig känsla på en enkel budget. Hela köket gör att även de mest budget minded att spara hundratals i restaurang kostar ändå i ett pittoreskt, lugn miljö. Vår fastighet är en historisk en, med utsikt över gården av Alexander Graham Bell och viken hans historiska flygningen skedde den. Vår fastighet ägdes av hans assistent, följeslagare (McCurdy) och en av grundarna av National Geographic Society (George Kennan). Andra deeded ägare var Samuel Cunard av ångfartyget berömmelse. Den Myers av Bell familjen, tyckte de att det här jag förväntar du kommer också

Beautiful spot overlooking Bra Dors Lake

This property did not disappoint. Gorgeous spot overlooking Bra Dors lake. Comfy beds, spacious open concept kitchen, dining, living room. The hot tub was a great extra. Communication with the “inn keeper” was delightful. Jonn gave us great recommendations about where to eat for dinner and breakfast!

Highly recommend

This cottage was perfect for 4 adults and a great location. Beds were very comfortable and we appreciated that there were plenty of towels. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub but it was very clean. John was very responsive and even dropped off a wine opener late at night when we discovered there wasn’t one. The driveway is a little difficult to find so better signage would enhance the listing. We would stay there again.

Great home base for week of exploring

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely cottage! Everything was just as we'd pictured it from the listing. The cottage was spotlessly clean upon arrival, quiet and comfortable, appointed with everything we needed, and it felt very secluded and private. We had a great view of Baddeck Bay from the porch, and enjoyed watching the moonlight reflected off the bay from the hot tub every evening after a long day of exploring. This was a nice location - away from the busier parts of the Cabot Trail but with great access to the national park and other destinations like the Sydney/North Sydney area. We loved eating at Baddeck Lobster Suppers & the ceilidhs in town. John was a wonderful host and made it very easy for us to check in even though we arrived late in the evening. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Bright, clean, comfortable cottage overlooking lake, just 2 km from town. Lovely views. Friendly, helpful host. Close to all the sights.

Nicely updated home with view of lake - Baddeck

Newly updated home with fresh feel. Lots of windows and light. Modern interior with comfortable beds. Hot tub on deck was a bonus. Walk down the driveway to lake, but not easy to access water for a swim. Need to clamber over rocks. Great location for exploring most of Cape Breton.

It was a convenient central location and was a quute, comfortable, nicely furnished cabin.

The pictures match reality. Note the picture of the cabin is taken from the water so you see the rocky shoreline...not a beach. Surprised with bathroom upstairs but that worked out fine. John is very pleasant and helpful. The internet was out during our stay which was a minor dissappointment but we could go to his B&B and sync as needed. Very nice beds and nice shower. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and feel we choose wisely.

Good view from barebones but functional cottage

My husband and I stayed in BayCroft Cottage for a week. The photos on VRBO are mostly accurate (Since they were taken, a hot tub replaced two of the Adirondack chairs on the deck. And the dining table we had seated 4.). The view of the water is good and as pictured. This cottage was plenty roomy for us. Sleep quality was excellent as the location is very quiet and the mattress on the larger bed is very good. The shower was nice, too. There is nothing fancy about this cottage at all. Everything is clean and functional, but totally low-end in terms of cost, e.g. Linoleum, countertops, refrigerator, microwave. In fact the microwave is so low-end that it is only 550 watts, which makes it only marginally useful. The one big deficit in this cottage is the lack of decent pots and pans and other kitchen supplies. There were two frying pans -- one very small and one that was truly wrecked and terminally greasy. Only two real mugs. No pot holders. Really, I rated this property as a "4" rather than a "5" based primarily on the furnishing of the kitchen. Beware if it is your intention to cook real meals in this kitchen. You should also know that the lake access at the bottom of the driveway (and across the road) does not include a dock. You simply have to scramble over some small boulders to get to the water.
