Platsen kunde inte vara bättre att utforska High Country !! Restauranger, Shopping inom 10 minuters bilresa. Den pittoreska lilla staden Banner Elk ligger 15 minuter bort och Boone är bara 20.
Bo på plats för att utforska skogen med intilliggande Otter Falls Trail. Packa en picknick lunch och njut av en 10 minuters vandring till Water Falls. Uppdatera och föryngra i de naturliga omgivningarna.
Vårt är en sann timmerstuga som erbjuder 2500 m² på tre nivåer med tre däck för att upptäcka vilda djur.
Befälhavaren svit ligger på huvudnivån med en Jacuzzi i Master bad och separat dusch. Köket Inspirerar ...... med granitbänkskivor och rostfria vitvaror, öppna till matsal och vardagsrum och perfekt för underhållande.
Däcket utanför köket ser ut över baksidan av fastigheten med någon annan hus på plats. Grilla din middag med bekvämligheten av att vara direkt från köket.
Titta på tidigt på morgonen Kalkoner medan du sippar nymalt kaffe på verandan svänger när solen kommer upp över träden ..... Vår personliga favorit!
Vardagsrummet är trevligt inredda i läder möbler med Mountain accenter. Minns framför gaspisen med en bok och en av våra "oldies" men goodies rekord. Det finns ett skrivbord på den nivån för att kontrollera dina e-postmeddelanden och jobba ....... om du måste!
Den översta nivån har 2 sovrum, med ett badrum. Den lägsta nivån på Otter Falls har spelrummet, tvättstuga och ett separat teaterrum med surroundljud och teaterstolar. Spelrummet är rikligt ....... med ett biljardbord, fotbolls- och TV & X Box-spelsystem, tillsammans med massor av böcker, spel, pussel eller dumt med Karaoke!
Gå ut till det angränsande däck för att suga under stjärnorna i bubbelbadet eller lata under träden i hängmatta. Den perfekta änden på dagen kan förekomma framför Fire Pit, rosta S'mores eller utmana familjen till ett utomhusspel Corn Hole.
Otter Falls Cabin är den perfekta platsen för att skapa varaktiga familje minnen med tankar att återvända.

Tillgång till stugan är asfalterad förutom den sista åttondelen av en mil, som är en privat väg.
Fyra hjul eller kedjor kan krävas när det finns is och snö. Tillträde är kanske inte lämplig för fordon med begränsad markklarhet.

Christmas in the Mountains

Perfect for a family Christmas stay! First day had snow so we were able to sled in the yard. Nice walk to the creek and waterfalls behind the house. Very close to Boone and Banner Elk with lots to do while still being in the woods. Very happy with cabin. Nice fireplace, movie room, pool table and hot tub on the deck.

Great getaway

We loved our stay at the Otter Falls Cabin! Took the trail behind the house down to the falls. The movie and game rooms were a huge hit for our teenagers. Lots of thoughtful touches that made our trip special. Thanks so much!

Wonderful place to stay

Our family agrees that this is the best cabin we have stayed at in this area. Beautiful secluded area and a cabin with lots of amenities for the entire family. Really enjoyed the deck and the back yard area with the fire pit Wonderful host as well. Highly recommend this cabin for your next family getaway.

Great place to relax with family

We loved our time at this cabin. The amenities were very nice and we would definitely stay there again. There were just a few minor things that made it not quite a 5 star but if we could give it a 4.5 we would! We also loved the local area and hiking opportunities. It is absolutely a great place to stay with lots of things for everyone to do!

Staying at Family's

We literally felt like we were staying at Family's. They have thought of everything! The house is decorated so beautifully. Its dog friendly which is fantastic and so close to everything. We love the Seven Devil's area. The house is nestled down in a private area over looking beauutiful preserves. Right near Otter Paws Trail, which was so convenient. Their outdoor firepit is one of the best I have ever seen. Susan, as your host is so attentive and caring! If you are looking for a family retreat I would highly suggest this property!!! Lori M

Wonderful

This is a wonderful house, exactly like the pics and descriptions. The backyard hiking trail to Otter Falls is a perfect way to start the morning. This is the best outfitted and labeled house we have stayed in. . .each kitchen cabinet and each light switch is clearly labeled so there is no fumbling around. There are three different porches to hang out on, and to watch the deer and fox wander by. We can't wait to come back next year!

Incredible Mountain Get-a-Way

This cabin is absolutely as advertised and detailed by the multiple reviews I read prior to our stay. The cabin is highly amenitized with hot tub, game room, theater room and three levels of overall space (2,500 SF) that made all our time there quite enjoyable. As well being right near the trails to Otter Falls gave us a built in adventure we didn't have to travel to. My three sons and wife thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we would like to come again. I love the area as well up the mountain in Seven Devils, you are both remote from other nearby residences while also close enough to other homes/communities that you feel safe with the location, you have privacy here but are not out in the sticks so to speak. Great stay and would recommend to anyone.

We had such a great time staying here for a week. Well stocked with everything we needed. Loved the front porch with plenty of seating and such a nice breeze The children loved looking at all the wildlife and catching salamanders. Wish we could have stayed here all summer.

Fantastic Getaway

My family of 4 (me, husband, 14 yo daughter, 10 yo son) truly enjoyed this house! The location on the Otter Falls hiking trail was perfect-you walk right out the back door and in a few minutes you are dipping your toes into the cool water of Otter Falls! The games, pool table, theater room, hot tub all made for fun nights after our long days exploring. Would definitely recommend this house!!

Perfect Family Get Away

The Family Fun Cabin was perfect! My family and I had an amazing time. Our 3 children are young adults now and we all enjoyed our vacation. We were able to do it all...Skiing, snow tubing, shopping, antiquing, restaurants etc... We especially enjoyed the beautiful Otter Falls and hiking around the property. We were close to Boone as well as Hawksnest , Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain. The house was the perfect size for us and the game room and theater room were our favorite spots to hang out together. The weather was on the warm side especially for January so we missed seeing snow. However, we were able to enjoy a night by the firepit. The home was well stocked and had everything we needed for a great vacation and great memories.

Otter Falls Trail Cabin, Fall 2022

Compared to other homes we have stayed in, this property had more amenities and was well stocked for cooking meals at home. The property was well lit and quiet. It had very easy access to a moderate level hiking trail. It was very well maintained and kept, even with allowing pets on the property. The owner had excellent care directions and set clear expectations for check in and out.

Fall break

This property offers so much. The house is in an excellent location on Seven Devils. The Otter Falls is just down the path and is an easy hike to do daily. The house itself is cozy and easy to just want to hang out in. Love the fire pit, game room and the theater room downstairs. Not having a TV in the main den encourages being a family group by the fireplace.

Perfect Mountain getaway!

Great cabin on the Otter Falls Trail. Very clean and nicely appointed. Great Basement. Pool Table, Foosball Table, Pacman machine and Man-Cave with Recliners and TV - perfect for watching soccer matches.

Great cabin and location

Immaculate upon arrival. Only thing we had issue with was some of the 'smart' appliances. Old school here. Not into the fancy coffee maker nor thermostat. But we would def stay there again. BEAUTIFUL CABIN AND LOCATION! 100 STARS!

This cabin is amazing

Everything about the cabin is thoughtful, from the motion-activated lights near the porch to keep you from tripping in the dark, to the heaters in the bedrooms for the cold winter months. The theater room makes for the perfect movie night, and between the pool table and the foosball table there's plenty to do in the game room. People come to Seven Devils from all over the area to hike to Otter Falls, but for you the hiking trail is just steps from your back yard. The cabin is also the perfect mix of seclusion and location, where you're only a few minutes away from grocery stores and restaurants but your neighbors aren't right on top of you. Our stay was amazing and I can't say enough wonderful things about this cabin.

Excellent Location. Beautiful Property.

I would first like to say the pictures listed for this property does not do it justice. The house was beautiful. In the perfect location to surrounding areas and mountain ski resorts. The first morning we were there, 6 deer passes through the front yard and walked into the trees. Amazing! The house was very much accommodating to all of our needs. I have an 8 y/o and a 3 y/o and the bottom floor/game/theater area was perfect! My kids were entertained the entire time we were there. The house did come with a karaoke system but we were unable to get it to work. No problem at all though we had an amazing time!
