Beautiful cozy cabin in 7devils! Loads of room to spread out throughout the house. Beautiful pond out back that you can fish off, fire pit, fully stocked kitchen, secluded location Could use more seating in living room, but the kids sat on the floor lol Stairs and stone path down to back yard pond/fire pit may be a concern for those with mobility issues. Steps are very steep. Just a heads up.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Big Chill. The layout was perfect for our family. We were able to see it snow while we were there. It was an amazing trip. I would like to go back in the fall to enjoy the pond that's right out back.

This cabin is beautiful. Situated on a quiet hillside overlooking a pond. It's cozy, comfortable and well equipped. The fireplace was wonderful on cool nights. Access is easy and communicating with the owners was fast and easy

Great weekend

We enjoyed a great weekend as a family. The cabin location was a short 8minute drive to the grocery or 10minutes to Sugar where we spent 2 days skiing. The cabin was clean and I was impressed how well equipped with ziplocks, all cooking supplies, wood for the fireplace, wash in the shower and more. Communication was great, we had a few questions along the way and they were answered quickly. We would stay again! Also, we had a snow day and we were worried we would not be able to leave the cabin as our van did not have 4wheel drive. Thankfully the area had a snowplow out at 10am clearing the roads around the cabins which was super helpful.

Very comfortable mountain cabin with great location.

My family stayed while they went tubing at Hawks nest. Everything was great except the kitchen floor was not clean. That’s the reason we gave it 4 for cleanliness. Overall, it was great. We had to change our weekend due to a scheduling conflict in the owner was very accommodating. We will definitely recommend staying here.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Our family has fallen in love with the North Carolina High Country. We were lead here when our daughter chose to go to Lees McRae College in Banner Elk for their Wildlife Rehabilitation Program. The next thing we knew we were looking for a cabin. "The Big Chill" won our hearts. It's beautiful, private, cozy but close to everything. We are so excited to share it with you. I hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
